Good sized room, and ensuite bathroom, good aircon, VERY comfortable bed, nice balcony, super-clean. The staff are what makes the Asymi experience so special. First the driver who collected me from the ferry ( and collected me at 06.30 am for my early ferry when I left - thank you! Then the wonderful friendly welcome at Reception from Marius and his very detailed and informative tips and suggestions. And the equally warm and friendly staff serving breakfast every morning - Dimitri & Anna Maria. There is a bus stop 4 minutes walk away that takes you in to the main port [a 10 minute trip for €2]. There is also a very nice local taverna , on the seafront, about a 4 minute walk away. And you can catch a boat from the pier in Pedi to St Nicholas Beach - €7 return ticket, about a 6 minute boat ride. Food, drink and free wi-fi on the beach.

You will only see the image of the hotel on Booking.com if you stand in a field - it is not on the sea front as implied. But it is only a few minutes walk to the seafront

True Greek hospitality. I couldn't be happier with my stay in Asymi. The staff was friendly and helpful. On the first night, our ferry arrived late, but the Asymi team asked us in advance for our arrival time and picked us up easily at the new time because they keep track of Ferry arrivals. Our room was spotless. The breakfast was perfect. The team so kind and friendly. You're a little away from the main strip but you can walk there (20 mins of lovely country lanes) or the team will arrange a taxi.

My boyfriend was disappointed that the neighbouring rooster didn't crow at precisely 6 a.m. like they do in the movies. The Asymi team could have done very little about this, though.

Everything about Asymi Residences was top notch. Staying near Pedi Beach was the way to go vs near the port where there is an excess of day trippers. There is a bus stop 2min away that runs every 30min that can take you into the village for only 2 euros. The staff was excellent, very friendly people that cater to any need you may have. They handled our pickup and drop off at the port, made arrangements for a scooter rental, and set us up with a private boat trip to St George Bay for my birthday. Very nice people. The breakfast was awesome, and the beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve had in Greece. The rooms are very spacious as well. If you’re going to stay in Symi, you will not be disappointed with the Asymi Residences.

Gorgeous and charming place, the room is beautiful and has the highest quality of furniture. We were welcomed with a transfer offer to the hotel where the stuff is honestly the kindest ever. They would always help us and have a smile on their faces. They gave us great tips and informations about the island and where to eat/how to get around etc. Location is great being on pedi beach with a bus stop 3 mins away and a water taxi service 5 mins away to take you to the beaches around. Breakfast is small but perfectly fine and shows the local delicacies. The small terrace is a nice touch especially when you’re being awakened up in the morning by a rooster and sheep to look at.

It was fantastic in total! The accommodation with high quality rooms in a nice little fishing village. The personal was very friendly, helpful and they seem to have a good spirit in the time. We wanted to prolong our stay because we liked it so much. It was not possible because there was no room available anymore. Anyway, the receptionist offered to help us, finding another accommodation for one night and than coming back to them. For us it was really extraordinary staying here.

It’s one of the best value for money accomodations we experienced in Greece. To mention some of its strengths - located in a scenic fishing village, close to the beach; recently and beautifully renovated; comfortable rooms and amenities, with CocoMat beds and Zealots cosmetics; friendly hosts - though this seems to be a general quality of the people in Symi. In short, a great place to relax and enjoy your holiday!

We liked everything!

We had a great few days in Symi. We took the ferry from Rhodes, got picked up by the hotel and also dropped off once we had to leave again which was very convenient. All staff were extremely helpful and kind and there for any questions. Pictures met reality. If you are interested in not staying in Symi's port area itself but a bit more isolated, then Pedi beach is a good choice. There is a bus for 2€ into town running every hour until 10pm but you can also rent scooters, quads or cars. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to relax!

Really not much at all. If there was anything to change, potentially a bit more choice at breakfast, but it was totally sufficient!

~Breakfast offering is too basic and same every day and understaffed. Could be made easier with 2 Coffee machines that guests can use themselves and allow the 2 staff to put time into fresh juices / omelette's / a few hot plates / pre made greek yogurts etc.... - no vibe in evening. Could elevate evening experience - no swimming pool / even a small one would be nice

The hotel was in the perfect location. Within touching distance of the sea and fantastic views of the secluded bay. We had a beautiful sea view. Breakfast was excellent with a brilliant variety of food… enough to keep you going all day. Again, beautiful sea view to enjoy while eating. Staff superb, friendly and always available for advice.

The accommodation was to a very high standard, very conveniently located to the beach and the local taverna. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Mario was very informative about the island and both transfers to and from the port were very efficient. The breakfasts were delicious. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return. Thanks to all the staff at A Symi.
