Recommendation for hotel owners to think about sound proofing of the hotel rooms. As the building is facing one of the main streets in the city, the traffic is always heavy and even with closed doors the noise inside the room was at greater then normal level

Hotel Ilisia is a cozy and very clean hotel, centrally located in Thessaloniki. It is a good budgetary option and, if you have proper expectations, you will not get frustrated. The staff is very polite and helpful with a friendly but still professional attitude to guests. The room was made every day. The bed, surprisingly for me, was very comfortable. The breakfast was simple but enough to start the day. Thank you, Hotel Ilisia!

Rooms are small

The location is near the bar streets and just 5 mins to the waterfront. Had a balcony, however it was shared with other guests. Room cleaning available every day.

The room images did not correspond to the room we received. In the pictures, they showed a sofa and a larger space but after my comment they told me it’s not a standard room (no matter what Booking.com info says). The bathroom was as small as possible.

Hotel Ilisia is a wonderful place, is located in the heart of Thessaloniki near all shops and near the sea. The room was very clean, the staff very polite, also we get help from the reception, cose we arive early, than our reservation and we get info in the middle of the night where we can book another room around, Thanks for ! The breakfast was good as well, coffee, tea, jouce, pizza, eggs and alot of food. Me and my friend was very satisfy of Ilisia Hotel. Definitelly will recommend to all my friends and relatives to spend a holiday or trip business there! Special Thanks again for all staff who care about our good time there

all was fine, no bad notice

The hotel located on one of the main streets of Thessaloniki, very close to all attractions. Egnatia avenue is pretty busy and loud even at night, so better to have room facing inside the block. But you will need earplugs anyway. Bus 45 connects the hotel with Halkidiki bus station and bus 01X connects it to the airport. The rooms have plenty of electric sockets, comfortable bed and shower. The closest grocery shop is Masoutis in 270 m. The breakfast is simple, but delicious, good coffee.

Not reliable elevator

The best thing about this hotel is it's location, right in the city center, close to the metro station, Kapani market, and Aristotle square. However the thing I appreciated the most are the efficient, and friendly staff. As a solo traveller this made me feel at home.

The hotel is a bit dated. In my opinion it needs a revamp. Breakfast was poor. No fresh fruit, tomatoes, and cucumber. No feta cheese. Having said that once again breakfast staff friendly and fantastic.

Everything is very tidy, and although it’s not furnished with the latest furniture, it’s very decent and clean. The staff are also very kind and explain everything in detail. Breakfast is good, tasty, and varied. Also, everything is very close by, and we explored the entire city center on foot.

I have no complaints, but if I had to mention something, it would be the juice at breakfast — it’s too diluted and doesn’t taste very good. However, there’s good coffee and water available. 😀

The property is clean, neat, in the city center. It is around 200m away from bus station that drives directly to airport. It has AC, and all the basic devices. The room and sheets are fresh and very clean. The Hotel itself is fresh and fragrant from the entrance. Staff is beyond kind and welcoming. They helped us at any request we had. 🥹😍 Breakfast is buffet type. All the groceries are fresh. Breakfast is always the same, but it has options for good start of the day: eggs, cheese, salami, croissants, bread, hazelnut spread, appricot and strawberry jam, flakes and muesli with yoghurt. Coffee, orange juice and fresh cold water. That was perfect for us.

The hotel is very centrally located and you can walk around the city very easily and it feels safe to do so. On arrival, the receptionist welcomed us. The check-in was very fast and simple, and we went to the room. It surprised us when we went in the room as we found 2 double beds when we thought we were only getting one (according to the booking) and our son had to sleep in the middle. We were fine with that arrangement. However, when we saw 2 double beds, it was even better for all of us. The bathroom is a little small. However, it's not somewhere that you plan to spend a day, so to use it to get ready and freshen up is a good size. The room and even the reception area are very clean. We spoke to the receptionist to get a recommendation for a restaurant and she told us about one just across the road from the hotel which was amazing greek food. So overall, we had a great mini break and will 100% be back again. Thank you, and well done.
