When we gotnto the hotel I was really surprised by the room because it looked 10 times better than we expected. It was very clean, we had everything we needed. The bathroom was also quite big. The room also had a vanity with a mirror which was a big plus, as I’m sure any girl would find this very helpful. We checked it very late at night because of our flight but the reception is open 24/7, there is always someone at the reception if you need -anything. The staff was very friendly, they helped us at every chance, we also left our baggage with the hotel on the last day after checkout for free. It is very close to bus stops, also walking distance to the pier. There are many stores and coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

One of the water bottles left in the room was opened but it was okay we all got our own waters from the store 2 minutes away from the hotel.

A lot of traffic outside the hotel, but can’t complaint about that because you didn’t notice that when you where inside the hotel. The hotel is close by walk to the sea and to other cozy places where you can eat or have a coffee/drink.

Central location, nice city view, pleasant interior. I should admit housekeeping team is very professional and we were pleased by recognizing how they made the room perfectly. Front desk team very helpful and polite. Also we were allowed to stay till 1 PM free of charge and it helped a lot. we felt safe and cared. Thank you so much for great service. Considering how critical am i evaluating hospitality services and i m saying it was great you may not have second thoughts to book this hotel or no. its walking distance from main touristic landmarks. Also breakfast was tasty with basic food. the thing that there are spare pillows in rooms also very thoughtful. beds are very comfy

The hotel has no parking, it offers you the possibility to leave your car at a private parking lot, Alexandros, for the price of 30 euros per night. When we arrived in front of the parking lot, a gentleman with an aggressive and arrogant attitude, without any explanation, asked us to take our luggage and hand over the car keys, in order to park it. I don't think it's normal to hand over the car keys like that without any explanation The hotel should redirect to another sharing We parked 600 meters away - Grand Parking, where it was cheaper, friendly staff and a large and airy parking lot.

We were only booked into the hotel for one night as very early the following morning we had to catch a bus to go on an excursion. When we arrived we were met by a very polite and friendly receptionist who got us checked in quickly and efficiently. We needed directions as to how to get to the meeting point for our excursion the next day and the lady told us explaining quickly and clearly so we easily found away to the meeting point the following very early morning. The room was comfortable, clean, spacious and modern. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of hot water and an efficient shower with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable and we had a half nights sleep as we had to get up at 4 in the morning to get the to the excursion meeting point at 5.30 in the morning. Even at 4 in the morning the water was hot for our showers. The internet was good and strong and quick and no trouble to connect. The balcony was a good size and gave a pleasant view over the city. Unfortunately were unable to try the breakfast as we had to leave so early so I cannot comment. Will certainly keep this hotel in mind if we ever need to go to Thessaloniki again.

There was nothing not to like!!

Within walking distance to the attractions of Salonic, it offers decent accommodation at an excellent price. Breakfast is good, personnel is really customer oriented. Probably the best price/quality ratio in the area.

The parking lot is actually around the corner from where the hotel is. Should you get there by car you should ask for the precise parking location in advance. Room sound isolation is inexistent: be careful what noises you make, especially during the night when the city background goes low 🤪. Rooms are small but then all rooms in Salonic are small. The mattress was really uncomfortable, maybe I'm too heavy.

Very pleasant staff, hotel is actually equipped at level of 4* (it has very decent mattress&bedding, security safe box in the room, bathrobe&slippers), and it is very well located near city centre and also easy to access Ano Poli.. And bus stop for the airport shuttle is just outside hotel.

As many guests already mentioned - it is very true that walls are definitely not soundproofed. Cleanliness was acceptable but there is a space for improvement:) And - this is not a critique - but I would recommend not to take a breakfast and use instead the place opposite hotel which has far better choice of food and drinks.

I had stayed in Mandrino for the first time two years ago (Sep 2021) and my review back then was not very good. However, I must say that 2 years later (Nov 2023) the improvement is huge. We stayed there for 2 nights in a very clean and comfy room on the 6th floor. We spend a whole day in the room as we needed to rest and there is nothing we could complain about. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was super clean, the towels were spotless. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The location is excellent - in the heart of Thessaloniki city centre with shops, restaurants, supermarkets around. The breakfast was also nice and fresh - perhaps a greater variety would make it even better.

Everything was perfect. Perhaps, more options for breakfast would make the experience even better (e.g. more traditional pies, bougatsa, fresh orange juice, different kinds of deli meat and cheese).

The hotel is located on a main boulevard close to important shopping streets. Around it there are nice restaurants and two convenient parking lots. The staff is friendly and well prepared for their work. My room was big enough and had all the amenities of a three-star hotel. I recommend the hotel for a short stay on business or for vacation. Museums and other attractions can be reached on foot from the hotel. Access to the beautiful bay is also easy.

The rooms are not very well insulated and you can hear the noises from the neighbors or the corridor. The internet connection is not as fast as I am used to in Bulgaria. Including in hotels.

Very nice staff at the reception

Beds and pillows are not very comfortable but it didn't stop me from staying there again. This time I noticed that balconies don't have much privacy. There is a bit of empty space between wall and glass which separates two balconies, so when people next door smoke at the balcony all the smell comes inside. Also, when they were loud, like they were in my room. This is not a complaint, just suggestion to maybe fix it a bit 🙂 But anyway, location is good, staff nice and as I said, I stayed there more than once and I would stay again.
