For people traveling by car, the location is great. The hotel owns multiple parking spots, outside the premises, and the guests can park their car there free of charge. Then all you need is to enjoy walking by the sea, since the city of Volos offers that. Our son with his scooter on the pavement for 5 mins, until reaching the pedestrian zone which is really huge. The room was comfy and the beds too. As far as the breakfast, it was everything we expected from a 4-star hotel. A big thanks to the staff of the hotel, which was really polite and helped us with every request we made.

The only drawback was the lack of a big balcony, where we could add two chairs to sit and see the sea. If the room was offering that, then it would have been a 10/10 stay.

This is a very good hotel in an excellent location. We arrived a little early, our room wasn’t ready, but we were immediately given an upgrade to a suite which was excellent in every respect. Very nice staff, good buffet breakfast, free parking outside (at least in March) - all in all, a totally good stay (alas only for one night). I also want to say how impressed I was with the recovery process in Volos after last year’s storms disaster. We have known Volos since the mid-80s, and we were relieved and delighted to see how impressive and determined the people have been to get back on their feet. A few side streets still need to be finished in the centre, but everywhere else was looking very good indeed. In Pelion now, where recovery is still ongoing, but with an equal determination and resilience. Do not hesitate to visit this lovely region. It is already getting back to its best.

The Volos Palace Hotel will absolutely be my go-to place to stay in Volos for the future. The room was spacious, and I slept like a baby in the comfortable bed. The staff was enormously helpful with lots of helpful suggestions regarding places to eat, sights to see, etc. It was very easy to walk to wonderful places to eat as well as the waterfront. The breakfast buffet is spectacular as well!

A wonderful and very pleasant hotel in a convenient location with a beautiful view. Exceptional and hospitable welcome and organization of the New Year's Eve by Mrs. Alatini. Well-maintained, clean and heated rooms. Parking spaces and a very convenient hotel charging station for electric cars. The breakfast was varied and deliciously prepared. Thank you for the welcome and service.

Comfy bed, decent sized room and a bath. Good breakfast selection.

Although we were able to park easily, later in the evening the car park was rammed as there was a concert on at the outdoor theatre right outside the front of the hotel. Which started at 10pm and was still going at 1 in the morning, so if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back of the hotel rather than one with a sea view. It's probably only an issue on a Saturday, to be fair!

Reasonably well located hotel - walk to the sea front with all the restaurants was not too far. Our room had sea views though the theatre is smack in the way so obscures quite a lot. Nice bar. Decent breakfast.

An open air theatre production was on while we stayed so there was quite a bit of noise in the evenings though in fairness, it didn't go on till very late.

Stayed at Volos Palace Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was upgraded to a sea view, which was a lovely surprise. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. Easy to find parking spaces. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay in Volos

The staff, as usual, were very friendly. The breakfast is excellent.

I found standing in a bath to shower very unsafe. I have polyneuropathy and little feeling in my feet. I also had nothing to hang on to. I asked if there were any rooms with shower trays and told no. So: despite staying at Volos Palace at least once a year and finding it great, I cannot risk it again.

Very friendly and professional staff who try to provide guests with help and information, spacious room with a large terrace overlooking the harbor, especially comfortable bed. The hotel is very nice and 5-6 minutes walk away from the main streets with the shopping area and the waterfront.

Excellent location near the port, Grand in style with nice decor and ambience, good on site restaurant, sitting area, separate breakfast room with buffet breakfast that catered to all tastes, we had a room on 4th floor with a big balcony and lovely sea view. Tip: Rooms without sea views overlook apartments and their balconies. Very clean room and hotel. Very helpful staff especially the lovely man on reception and the young lady in the restaurant with the glasses and finally the lady from Housekeeping.

The room had a shower over the bath and the shower head was facing you, not to one end of the bath which made it difficult. However, it was a good shower!
