Beautiful property, quiet, friendly staff & good food! I loved it! I would come back to this place for certain!

Nada it was was perfect!

The room was clean and neat with everything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. It was always ready at time we requested and the food was delicious. The service was perfect, especially David who was always ready to assist with whatever we needed. We had massages during our stay which were wonderful after a few days of walking and hiking. This will be my go-to hotel when I return to Antigua - thank you Casa Madeleine!!

Nothing! The mattress was a little firm for my taste but some may prefer it that way. The location is close to a major road so some noise from traffic on Saturday morning but again nothing that bothered me. No issues at night that might bother a light sleeper.

This is a beautiful, intimate place to stay. Not many rooms. It feels very clean. The staff is eager to help and communicate - from the front desk to the lovely women who cook and serve a delicious breakfast. There is a great view of one of the volcanos and pretty plants that are well tended when you step out of your room. We would definitely return to Casa Madeleine!

The only drawback is that the hotel is located on the edge of town so you need to walk a bit (about 10 minutes) before reaching restaurants and the center of Antigua.

The hotel is off city center but walking anywhere is not more than 10-15 minutes. If you’re in Antigua it is part of the experience to walk and enjoy the city. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Couldn’t ask for nicer people. The room was clean and everything was nice, only there was no chair in there besides the bed in the spa room. The courtyard was very pleasant to view and sit in when time allowed. Breakfast was included and very good every day we had it. Great that they provided water, drinks, and bananas. I highly recommend this place. Price point is great. It’s not super posh but very comfortable.

There was not much to dislike. I guess the toiletries were not the greatest quality but otherwise everything was fine,

The property is beautiful and views of a volcano are nice. Breakfast was really good. Fresh hand made tortillas, I also enjoyed hearing them be made! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walkable distance to center of town.

I am a very light sleeper, that said I could hear the front gate buzzer when other guest returned to the hotel. The buzzer rings until someone opens the gate. My room the Aqua room was close to the entrance gate. I wish my room key worked for the front gate. I would stay here again tho.

We loved that our room had a seperate second room offering privacy. We were surprised by the hot tub and sauna. We also liked that our main bedroom had a door out to a balconey. Also liked that they had free water and jaimaica water downstairs. Water pressure in the bathroon/shower was awesome.

Going to the second seperate room to get to the bathroom was a little awkward but not that big a deal. Also missed breakfast because it started too late for.

The stay was comfortable and staff was very accommodating and kind. The little garden was well-cared for.

I did not mind that much, but other people might find it noisy if there are other guests, specially children. Perhaps there should be a recommendation to bring compact cars as parking space and entrance to them are quite restrictive (I drive a full size sedan and scratched it trying to enter their alternative parking space)

Check in was very easy. Room was clean and on the first floor. The courtyard was nice with a view. I didn't use the jacuzzi or the sauna. Breakfast was nice. They always asked you the night before what time you wanted breakfast. It was eggs, tortillas, beans, plantains and fruit.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I booked a wonderful massage with Josephina after hiking Acatenango and Fuego. This was the perfect place to rest and relax. Upon arrival I was given a choice of my room. Room was very comfortable with everything I could need. There is also a jacuzzi available on the property.

We had an unforgettable time! Everything was great - starting with the cozy feeling you get and the beautiful garden, to the amazing sweet staff! They are all so nice and always trying to make you feel so welcomed! Thank you for everything!
