The breakfasts were really good. The room was comfortable and private. The space was so nice. The area gets so quiet at night. The staff were kind and so helpful.

It was a little difficult to find the first time. The sign is only visible from one direction. The key code provided didn't work on the lock, but someone exited so we were able to get into the private area without too much trouble. The beds were VERY firm, too firm.

The location was superb - easy walk to all relevant sites in Antigua City but on a side-back street with security. The property was stunning with an interior open courtyard with beautiful plants and an outdoor area. Even the birding was outstanding right on the property. The people were super nice and helpful.

We had tried to arrange for a taxi to pick us up early to get to our start point for a two-day volcano hike and it didn't come, so we had to scramble for a tuk tuk. It turned out OK, and may not have been a fault of the property, at all.

An incredibly beautiful quiet sanctuary- hacienda style hotel/courtyard and garden. Impeccably clean with beautiful art and various nooks for lounging (or for digital travel work). They have another adjacent private park (!) with tables/chairs/umbrellas, green lawn scattered with purple petals where my husband and I did yoga every morning. Incredibly helpful and kind staff!!!!!! Dark quiet bedroom super hot shower. Strong wifi. Great (included) breakfast in courtyard. Very safe.

The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We arrived very early in the morning and they made a huge effort to get us a room asap. My friend is coeliac and they provided gluten free pancakes for breakfast which is unheard of in most hotels. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel in general is beautiful and such great value. Yes it is a little tiny bit of a walk outside the main streets but nothing that would or should deter you from booking this hotel.

The staff so incredibly welcoming & kind. You have to walk a little to the center but it was not much and the staff helped when I wanted a driver to get from the airport to the hotel & vise versa. Also communicated well with the other drivers I had for excursions. When I got there I didn’t even had request a fan they brought it to my room before I had to ask. Super happy with my stay completely recommend. Oh and their wifi worked super well.

The accommodation was very beautiful with its green interior garden, it is also located on a quiet backstreet in a gated complex. Also a plus is the parking situation. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good. It is a 20 min walk from the city center and we did feel safe the entire time.

The value for money for this accommodation is excellent (relative to other surrounding accommodation). The room is big, the showers and toilets, breakfast and staff were all excellent. Better than what you can get for the price typically in Antigua

The rooms would greatly benefit from a fan, or portable or permanent air conditioning - it can feel very warm in the rooms. The location isn't amazing and needs a brief walk to the main centre of town, but reasonably located regardless

The courtyard area is truly beautiful to look at. I had breakfast in front of it, then worked on the same table throughout the morning. It was very relaxing. The hotel is 10-15 min walking from the central park, and the benefit of that is it's pretty quiet throughout the day.

Breakfast tables are right in front of the rooms, so you'll hear people eating right outside your door. Would not be an issue if you wake up early.

The best hotel we have experienced on our 8 week Centralamerican travel. We seriously considered to extend our stay in la Antigua, just to get one more cosy day at this hotel. Super nice room, friendly and competent staff (they actually separated our wool from other clothes at the laundry), lots of hot water in the shower and nice made-to-order breakfast.

We should have found this hotel the first time we stayed in Antigua... (it was our second stay in the city)

I like the hotel, the place is very nice. It is quite. The breakfast was really good. They can book you a taxi or shuttle for different places. 15 minutes to the center.

It was expensive. At night we had to take an uber to go back to the hotel because there were nobody on the streets and it was a little bit dark
