What I liked about City Budget was the staff's friendliness, the convenience of a location within walking distance of the Metro, Chinatown, ABC grocery store, Lidl, and McDonald's. The breakfast looked modest but the eggs were really good, with a side of peas & mushrooms. The TV and the view from the room was great (just residential, tree-lined streets but it was an orderly, nice urban environment). I liked how helpful everyone was and how peaceful even with folks drinking at the little tables downstairs and relaxing at night. Reception was rooms on one side and a bar on the other. Nice atmosphere, friendly English-speaking folks

Everything was fine. They were responsive to all concerns. They even checked the AC when the heatwave hit to make sure every unit was working in optimal condition--no complaints

After looking at the reviews we were worried about staying here but everything was completely up to standard: the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfy and secure, the bathroom was clean, we checked and didn't find any bed bugs, and overall had nothing to complain about.

Nothing - it was all exactly as we expected.

Overall it’s very good value for money , rooms are proper size for a couple for ex, also amenities are sufficient.The staff is very friendly and helpful , there are lot of parking options in the area.There is a metro station a few minutes walk from the hotel

It’s an old building that can use a little bit more renovation. Breakfast could be a bit more diverse.

I do not like the breakfast at all the eggs was powder eggs the salad was old no enough bread we asked for brown bread they said sorry it's finished no crossing at all . To stay in the place really good place with out breakfast is perfect

Breakfast was very good and tasty. Staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

The lock of my room 606 was getting stuck and I had difficulty in closing the door. It closed after a lot of struggle. Location is a bit far from the city but the metro and tram are close, so it was not a problem.

Before I came to the accommodation I was worried about the reviews, but as soon as we entered the hotel we saw a complete difference. The rooms were clean, neat and tidy. There was no unpleasant smell. The breakfast was good as were the hotel employees. Huge recommendation.

The hotel is budget but absolutely acceptable. Great value for money. The metro station is 3-4 minutes by foot. Around 5 stops to the centre.

The parking is too small. There is a bigger one near the hotel but you have to pay during the day.

I didn't like that there were no kitchen facilities, but I suspect there might have been a shared kitchen behind a door I noticed just as I was checking out. It figures.

Great location near the metro, easy access to the city center. Clean, basic rooms — exactly what you expect from a budget hotel. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choices. Staff were nice and friendly.
