We booked a room for three people. The beds were clean and all toiletries were provided. You can check in at any time, and the reception staff are friendly. The location is quiet. The hotel is small and not noisy. There is an excellent, wide selection of breakfast options, which is surprising for such a small hotel. Parking spaces near the hotel are monitored by cameras and are free of charge.

Far from the center. You can get there by bus, which goes directly to the center, but even though the hotel appears to be close on the map, it takes 50 minutes to walk to the nearest metro station. You can either take public transportation (bus + metro/tram) or a taxi. The shower stall itself was dirty, with a layer of mold visible from age. There were also stains on the carpet. People who are squeamish will find something to complain about, but for those who aren't, I recommend this hotel for the price.

The room was big and clean and so was the bathroom. There is 24/7 reception. There is safe parking and elevator. The breakfast is ok and is worth getting it. The staff was wonderful, they even had some activities for kids and Santa left candies for our daughter at the reception! Good value for money.

We arrived at night and because it is located away from the center, the location seemed not so safe. There were no problems and it was actually a plus because we were able to exit fast to the highway.

I booked it because it was the closest to Arzenal, a club from Budapest, 16 min walk or via uber/bolt was just 2000 HUF, 3 min ride. It was a very clean hotel. Outside was really cold, but the room was very warm. The AC worked just fine if you needed extra heat. Close to the tram station, which was direct to the city center. The best check-in/check-out hours I could find on booking. Close (6 min walk) to a shopping center where it had s lot of stores (Aldi, DM, KFC)

It was under constructions so it looked a little weird from the outside and from the entrance.

The staff is lovely, both from the reception and the restaurant. We were allowed to check in earlier. The parking is huge. The breakfast is totally value for money: they make the best scrambled eggs I have ever had in a hotel, and they include hungarian sausages and viennoiseries in the buffet. The rooms are very clean. The location is not very central, but it is well serviced by tram and buses (tram 2B stops right behind the hotel and brings you straight to the Parliament). There is an Aldi and KFC right at the corner.

There are not so many restaurants around. The room is actually smaller than how it looks in the picture.

A standard 3 star hotel which was clean and comfortable. A good location for visiting Budapest with a 20 minute walk or convenient bus ride to the tram stop and then straight into the city. The receptionist was excellent and she provided us with tons of information. Free, secure parking at the back of the hotel

Only spent a night there and left early next morning but everything I've seen was decent to say the least. For the price I'd rather say excellent! Staff simply impressive as very helpful, easy going, communicative and friendly.

May just picked the wrong one but bread would have been little softer at breakfast. As a smoker for longer stay would be uncomfortable to get out to backyard every time instead of a little balcony but to be honest haven't check if they have balcony rooms or don't for this short stay.

Haberdashery at very good location. Simplicity of building and surroundings are easily balanced out by following: ease of access of city center with public transport (in front of hotel bus and tram operate 24/7), ample parking space, nice staff, basic opulent breakfast (also for people with religious restrictions), medium shopping park 5 min walking distance (including Aldi & DM & KFC), Tesco 15 min walking distance. Rooms are clean and up to par with general expectations. Recommended for solo & business travelers.

This was an ideal bolt hole at the price. Staff all perfectly friendly. Occasionally delightful. Room spare but very clean. 24 hour reception. It wears the tags of the Soviet era, but has been well maintained. They sell a few snacks at reception, which came in handy. You can get breakfast - but at 11 euros, you might be better off whacking a hotdog and a coffee at the Shell garage opposite. The bread was wonderfully fresh. The coffee OK. The rest variable.

The hotel is by a main road in a distant quadrant of town no tourist would ever visit. Essentially borderline-industrial, distinguished only by a big Lidl and a KFC. That said, if you take the tram, you only need make one journey to get all the way to Parliament and beyond. It is about 10 euros in a tax from Astoria. I had absolutely no problems at the Hotel Canada, but I was equally glad to be done with it.

Canada Hotel is great for a shorter stay. There are plenty of parking spots and if you're traveling by car, it's just few minutes from the highway. There's a direct tram line to the city center, but it takes about 30 minutes to reach it. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. Also the price is very good.

The distance from the city is a bit further than I expected when I was checking out the map.

The hotel is excellent; we were fascinated by the cleanliness of rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast offer was tasty and we enjoyed the meals. I would like to emphasize the stuff; very professional and communicative. The location is also great, it took us 30 to 40 minutes by car to get to the Hungaroring, would recommend the hotel to other potential guests.
