Great hospitality of the owners. They are more than willing to help you find your way around Budapest, to recommend you a restaurant, where to go, what to see, how to get there. They even offered sheets and blankets to cover my car in case of a hail storm. The room was cozy and clean. There's refrigerator, TV, air condition in it. The bed is large and comfy, and there's also a couch. There was a huge wardrobe cabinet. The hotel is close to the Budapest downtown by car and I think by public transport, too. It is also close to a concert venue where we went, so it was in an ideal position for us.

The room was clean, comfortable and secure. Andreas is a really charming, genial and informative host - he clearly loves his role and, as other reviews have suggested, goes out of his way to make visitors feel welcome. He also proudly introduced me to the improvements he is planning for the summer - beautiful plants & a water feature for the courtyard included!

Not a 'don't like' but a gentle warning. Oswaldo IS quite a trek out from the centre without a car, so you need to be prepared for this. But bus 151 a few yards from the door is regular and frequent & takes you the terminus of the Metro M3 line - from here as well as speeding smoothly into the city you can also catch a direct shuttle 200E to the airport.

Our host (Andraž) was the best host we ever had. He provided us with all the information we needed, even gave us a map of the tram line and told us where we can buy tickets and all the cool places to eat near the hotel. He even cooled our room before we got there (it was very hot that day). He instantly made us feel welcomed. And his dogs are just the cutest and well behaved. The room was nice and clean, it has a refrigerator, tv and also air con. The hotel has a parking space.

The owner and staff are very nice and friendly, they are very helpful and cooperative. The hotel design and garden are attractive and comfortable for relaxation. What surprised me the owner is that the owner has collected a lot of information about my country before I arrived to shrare it with me which reflects how much he cares about his guests.

Nothing everything was amazing

The owners are lovely! We were welcomed very nicely, the owner told us how to best get to the city, what to see and where to eat. Even printed out a map for us so we could easily find our tram. Our room was clean and very comfortable and we could safely leave our car at the parking lot. The atmosphere of this place is wonderful, we highly recommend it and thank you for a great stay :)

Fantastic place, staff were friendly and helpful, The room was a lovely size, had a microwave and small fridge, Great connections into town. The court yard garden is attractive and lovely place to sit in the evenings. The garden and quiet street made it feel like it was in the country rather than Budapest.

Having to go home.

A lovely and quiet oasis in a busy city, with beautiful garden (must look amazing during spring and summer months). Very spacious room, very cozy, with all needed amenities for a perfectly comfortable stay. The gate code gives a sense of safety and security, and the owner is very friendly, open and hands-on: he took the time to explain how things work at his hotel, showed me around, even helped me very promptly in an incident with the hot water on Sunday evening. He is always busy doing all sorts of things to improve guests' comfort during their stay, and you can immediately feel his passion and dedication for this kind of job. Constantly planning automatization and upgrades, everything whilst keeping the intimate and nature-friendly environment of his oasis. Location-wise: even though it is not close to the city centre, there is tram line 2B with direct connection to downtown - the station is only a few minutes walking distance, and it takes around 40-45 minutes to get to the main touristic attractions. Andy, it was a pleasure meeting you, thank you for being a wonderful host!!

For me there were no minuses, I wholeheartedly recommend this property and I'm very happy to have discovered it

It was a business trip, so I chose this hotel because of the location in the first place, plus the reviews were very promising. And I wasn't disappointed. Before my arrival I indicated to the owner that I need a quite room with strong WiFi (I had to hold an important meeting online as well). He took this into consideration and gave me a room next to the router which I really appreciated. Also, he brought every extra item I needed into my room (like electric tea pot, cup, plate etc.) and was very helpful in general throughout my whole stay. In addition, it was very convenient that the owner speaks perfect German and English. About the location: almost next to the hotel there's a tram stop (4 min. walk). 30-40 min. ride - and you're right in the center of Budapest! The hotel gives the vibes of a family home, and I could see that the owner really cherishes this place and cares for the comfort of his guests. I can only imagine how beautiful this hotel looks during summer when the yard is all green and blooming. If I come back to the Budapest, I will definitely choose this hotel again!

The rooms are clean and tidy, each room has TV and air conditioner. The use of air conditioning in included in the price (it is not charged extra). The poperty has a large garden, which is great for families with children. Additionalu, there is a parking within the courtyard. The host is very friendly, he speaks English fluently, and hepled us with everything we asked for.

I felt like at home - Andy welcomed me and spent time with me, explaining how to find nice, local spot for dinner and how to save money on commuting. I appreciated how quiet the place was and still well communicated with the city center (approx. 30 -40 min by tram). The room was clean, warm, and air co quiet. In the area close to the hotel, you can find local cafes and supermarkets. If you want to feel like a local person and you are looking for an authentic experience, Hotel Oswaldo will be just for you.
