Good location, near river, at walking distance from old city and all major attractions in the city. Rooms are neat and clean. Nice breakfast at very reasonable price. Bathroom was clean. AC worked well.

Reception Staff: Dry and arrogant, may be because of my brown skin. I never experienced such kind of behavior in other parts of EU.

Very good value for money. Good breakfast included and. It’s close to the Danube river promenade. It has a small but practical underground parking.

Not a minus but more of an observation: the shower plate is higher than the rest of the bathroom floor and the only available drain is in the shower. In an ideal life scenario there won’t be any water coming out from the shower.. but in the real life there will be water leaking out and unfhortunatelly doesn’t know how to jump back to the drain..(I’ll add a picture to make more sense) Other than that everything was nice and cozy.

Breakfast was good, although it might change a bit throughout the week. The room was clean, with enough light, and we even had a partial view of the Danube River. The bathroom was big enough and clean. There are 3 lifts and a staircase, so we could choose how to get up/down. The roof terrace was nice, although we were expecting more vibe and maybe a lounge-type seat at least in one area; however, bar stool-type chairs are not bad, at least for a short drink. Location was great, 3 tram stations in less than 5 minutes walking distance, and proximity to the promenade near the Danube River is great if you want to explore all areas in Budapest, as we did. In general, things were as expected, and it was great value for money.

The room doesn't have a safe. The gym was completely off the standards of the hotel: dirty, broken equipment, and one day, a mob of minor kids ran into the gym (they were somewhere between 7-12 years old), without any supervision, and they ravaged everything. Luckily, none of them got injured. The bins in the gym were full, and there was a dirty coffee glass left for 4 days, as we were there (possibly even longer). It is a shame that such a great hotel could not put more attention to the gym.

The location was convenient with the tram covering two destinations. Breakfast satisfactory although it did not change at all in the six days we stayed. Area safe and quiet.One member of staff doing evening shift amazing!

They didn't change towels or sheets in four days.no hoover no mopping. I know that in some hotels they try to be environmentally friendly, but cleanliness and making the customer feel nice during his holiday has nothing to do with the environment. That's why we call it hospitality industry. Even when I requested "clean my room" they did nothing. So I complained to this lady at reception who was very helpful indeed and sorted out everything immediately . The next day they even hoovered the corridors . I suppose the cleaning staff do not do their job properly and nobody supervises them. I am not going to rate the hotel low because I believe you can improve and actually you have the potential to offer good services . It's just a matter of management.

From the minute we arrived, the staff was friendly and accommodating, they were always ready with a smile and a hello. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and perfect. The breakfast included was delicious and it was great to try new types of breakfast foods. It was always fresh and tasty. The rooftop bar was a great way to spend the first evening looking over the city and the blanket provided was nice to snuggle into as it was a bit chilly and windy. The staff in the bar were super friendly and attentive.

Everything was great - nothing to complain about here!

The room was clean and well-maintained. Near stations Breakfast was good, with a sufficient variety of options to start the day.

Unfortunately, when we arrived (after check in time) , our room was not yet ready, which was disappointing. We had an issue with the laundry service, the staff did not seem to know who had the laundry room key, and this caused a lot of confusion. Also, there was no control over who entered the breakfast area , no staff checked whether guests had actually paid for breakfast, which made the system seem disorganized

Our second time in Budapest, also our second time at B&B Hotel Budapest! Everything was great, the hotel is modern and the furniture seems new (bed and pillows are quite comfortable). Our room was nice and clean, no noise from the street during night thanks to good sound insulation. Really good A/C that you can set up to your preference (temperature, speed)! 24h working welcome desk which was great for us as our flight was scheduled late at night - no problem with check in, fast and easy. Same with check out. Friendly staff. Great breakfast (served until 11am) - there is something for everyone, from scrambled eggs and toasts to croissants and fruit and various drinks (coffee, tea, milk, apple/oragne juice etc.). However, it did get crowded at some point and there were dishes left behind and fewer food choice, so you had to wait in line or come back several times to get something that you wanted to eat. Plus side is that staff tried their best to clean and refill food as fast as possible. Very good location, close to hotel are several tram stations with good connection to city centre and airport. Only a few minute walk from the Danube bank. Definitely would recommend, if we go back to Budapest we will stay here again!

The only bad thing is that during our visit the rooftop terrace was not working and it was not possible to visit. There was no notice in advance that it won't be available, but we saw the sign only once we were on our way there in the elevator. Would be nice if we got notice in advance as we were really looking forward to enjoy the view in the evening.

When I came to do the check in in the afternoon around 4pm, there was a huge queue of people at the reception (around 20/30 people). So I took a coffee break at the bar expecting the queue to clear in 15/20mins. But to my surprise, the reception managed to take care of the whole group in only 3/4 minutes, so I didn't have to wait at all. So hats off to the reception staff (and of course the bar and housekeeping too). Will definitely be returning to this chain of hotels when traveling in Europe. Also, the room quality compared to the price is very good. Thank you.

The Food was lovely, the chicken soup was amazing, and the coffee was good, and very reasonably priced. The bar/waiter gent was extremely friendly, made us feel very welcome, and the lady who helped translate an email and made a call for me was super!

Booked a room for 2 adults and a 11yo, arrived and they had issued me a room with one double bed. I popped down to reception and explained to the staff, they did move our room, but I had to pay extra. a little disappointing when I had booked online for 3, and provided the age of my child.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. We arrived at 1:30 pm and were promptly checked in at the scheduled time of 2 pm. The room we were assigned was impeccably clean and well-maintained, equipped with all the basic amenities one would expect. One of the highlights of this hotel is its convenient location, just a short 5-minute walk from the tram station, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. Additionally, there are plenty of supermarkets in the vicinity, which was convenient for picking up snacks or any essentials we needed during our stay. Breakfast also had lots of options, so it was also good. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, excellent location near public transportation, and proximity to supermarkets, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.
