The hotel is in a semi good location I'd say. We made 15 min by taxi to the Parliament / that square, so keep it in mind if you book it. Not too bad. There's lots of pubs/bars around. A bakery right in the front. The hotel provides free water every morning. Coffee (from coffee pods). There's a mini fridge if you need it as well. Staff was really helpful and nice as well. For a hotel that classifies itself as a 4* I think they should pay more attention to the cleanliness. Not only in the rooms/bathrooms but in the halls as well. It felt very outdated also. Rooms are small but enough if you're not spending too much time inside like I did. Thin walls , you can hear the next room's people talking on the phone. It's right on the street so you should expect some noise as well. I don't know if I would recommend it considering all of these but overall price-location was a good deal.

This is the second time we've been here and it's in a great location, the room was quite small, but clean. We stayed for 4 nights, but in one of them they forgot to change the towels. The breakfast was ok, pretty variate.

The cleaning service is not so great, they didn't change the used glass and the biggest problem was that the maids were sick and coughing all over the rooms and didn't use a mask so i got sick from them.

The room was spacious, we had a fridge in the room too. Good location for transport, also has an underground car park. Very good air conditioning after a hot day out. The breakfast was good with a variety of hot and cold choices.

There was three of us in the room and there was no bedding for the sofa bed or extra towels. I had to go to reception and ask. It was no surprise there was going to be three of us as I booked the room back in April. Surely the housekeeping staff have an inventory for this. When I asked for extra towels the lady on reception wasn’t going to help at first. Yes, the hotel was busy, but it’s August and to be expected. We’d been out in the heat all day. Very frustrating.

We had a delightful stay at Leonardo Hotel Budapest. The staff were exceptionally welcoming: they allowed us to check in well before the official time and held our bags for several extra hours after checkout, which made exploring the city stress‑free. Our room was cosy, and notably calm—just what we needed for restful evenings. The hotel is located in a peaceful neighbourhood, yet tram and metro stations are within easy reach, making travel into the centre or to the airport seamless. Nearby you'll also find supermarkets, cafés, bars, and casual restaurants. Leonardo delivers both comfort and convenience. Highly recommended for its thoughtful hospitality and ideal location for independent travellers.

The hotel has an underground parking garage, and it’s definitely worth it. Check-in was quick, the beds and sofa were very comfortable, and the blackout curtains made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and the river promenade is about a 10-minute walk away — the time passes quickly because the city is so interesting.

Unfortunately, our room had a broken thermostat. The air conditioning kept switching on and off every few seconds. Since we were only staying one night, the hotel didn’t really have time to fix it.

Incredibly good value for money with a good location close to public transport. Clean spacious rooms. However the only reason why I am giving an 8 is the lack of organisation when it comes to large events. We happened to stay at the hotel while there was a conference going on. On the day of our check out, the conference also happened to be checking out. But during that there was complete chaos in the lobby. There were no orders for no crowding in the lobby so it felt like almost 100 people were in this relatively small space. It took us 10 minutes to just make it from the elevator to the exit, which was a few meters away, just to get some fresh air cause a girl in our group almost had a panic attack. Can't even begin to imagine what would have happened if there had been an emergency. I am not complaining because we were actually overall satisfied by the hotel, this is just honest constructive feedback.

Staff were professional and polite and communication was amazing and on request at small fee happy to decorate the room for my partners birthday on arrival and it looked great. Room size was very big (junior suite ) and exceptionally clean. Shower was excellent with both a waterfall shower head and normal moveable head and water pressure was very good. Great value for money. Just outside the city centre and great transport links for the trains in and out of town . Only short taxi drive into town if need be be via uber /bolt. Exceeded my expectations for our 4 days trip . :) .

Bed was comfortable but had to ask for extra pillows as not the greatest quality. (Which staff were happy to accommodate). Otherwise perfect hotel stay.

The hotel is close to a metro station (7min. walk), which was very convenient for us, located in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. You can find a lot of places to eat in a walking distance. The room (superior triple) was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. The stuff at the reception is very polite and very helpful.

The breakfast area was very crowded, the stuff was trying to refill the breakfast food stands and clean the tables at the same time, so the sanitary conditions were not ideal. The quantity of the food was adequate (I am not a breakfast person) the quality could have been better.

Lovely cosy and modern Hotel in friendly neighbourhood. Lots of restaurants and ice cream parlour nearby plus a park where you can watch the world go by. The staff spoke perfect English and were friendly and helpful. Especially Nogga on reception and the lady who managed the restaurant . The restaurant served a good varied menu and the decor and background music gave a relaxing sophisticated vibe. The beds were large and comfortable.

The coffee area in the bedroom had a corner cupboard which we kept bumping our heads on. Covering it with a plastic protection could avoid a nasty accident in future!! Would have liked a kettle to make tea and some small milk containers and tea sachets Not everyone drinks Black coffee. Small biscuits would also be nice to have with drink. Our room was over a noisy street which didn't bother us too much but I believe you may ask for another room at the back or higher up.

Super quiet room, you cannot hear anything, the room was facing their backyard and it is very calm as it is the back from the other buildings as well, with a nice green grass view with some sunlight. Although the street the hotel is located is not that busy. Room is very clean and in geral we had a goos stay.

Some small issues that clearning and staff could pay attention: There is a leaking of water on the box, the base of the structure is not well fixed and water runs through it. You can see that is there for a long time as you see the calcarium marks on the floor. One leg of the armchair was falling down everytime, just screw then more then once, and it simply felt down.
