I visit this beautiful old Hotel over a decade. . It's located in Budapest's heart so you can enjoy delicate cuisine in the surrounding streets. I would also recommend the restaurant on its own. A high class cuisine. The own Pool and small Sauna on the upper floor is a welcome treat after long walks during the winter season. As Espresso is my business I will tell you a secret. Probably the best Espresso in Budapest. We tried for sure. The perfect start in your morning with that breakfast. Well done to all the individuals who are doing there job there. I'm always blessed to be your guest ladies and gentlemen. See you in spring again. Thank you for everything :)

There is nothing what you can complain about.

The Front of house staff and in the gallery bar were always very helpful and professional. Liked the touch of having a concierge meet us from taxi and guide us to our room.

The heating in bathroom was not working so was quite cold. The fan heating in the room was very noisy when switched on. The pillows were not comfortable.

Restaurant staff, in particular one member was rude and took ages to serve us so we ended up leaving. And it wasn’t us he was rude to it was a couple from Japan.

This hotel is a true hidden gem in Budapest. It appears very simple and almost hidden from the outside but the interior design (especially of the main entrance hall) is stunning. Upon arrival, we enquired whether our room was ready (way before check-in times) and we were given the possibility to already check-in before lunchtime. The rooms are of a good size, have all basic equipment and beds are quite comfortable. What we liked the most was the location - easy to reach all the main Budapest landmarks by walk and surrounded by good restaurants. Breakfast was ok - a bit on the pricier side, albeit well organized and with plenty of space to enjoy a meal in peace. We were also allowed to keep our luggage stored at the hotel after checking out for no additional fee.

Walls were quite thin and it was possible to hear most happening in the other rooms and corridor. Complimentary toiletry offer was quite limited. Breakfast choices were good but limited for the price (EUR 15). There is no coffee machine but only powder coffee to mix in with water.

I liked the overall feeling and design. Rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable to stay in. Location was great especially if you want to visit Advent market and city center these days. I liked the spa and pool option a lot.

We stayed for the weekend plus Monday. It was never mentioned anything about Monday and Tuesday being clean up days which meant pool and spa couldn't be used. Also gym was unavailable at that time, too. I think it should be clearly stated before you plan your trip at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Although a couple of reviews said the rooms were small, we did not find this to be the case (at least it wasn’t small by our standards). A lot of reviews also mention the location not being the nicest, but we loved it due it it’s close proximity to good restaurants and bars (we found the ones around here to be less touristy than the centre), and we never once felt unsafe. Spa facilitates are nice and the breakfast was great with a big variety of options.

Spa facility and breakfast could get crowded, but it wasn’t a huge problem for us and we never had to queue for breakfast, even though we saw that others did on some of the days.

I liked the room (standard with double beds) it was small but nice. It was clean and simple. The roof top area and pool were really small but we always got a lounge chair so not a problem.

I didn't like that for a couple of days the griddle was broken so no eggs or omlets. Also if you came during the busy time alot of things were out not just a couple. And some of the staff were not very nice. Had some mornings there were no plates and had to ask and the attitude was bad. Also personally I would have like to have some veggies like cucumbers and tomatoes.

The hotel is really pretty, located in a good area, close to everything we wanted to see. The staff was nice and helped us with everything we needed. The room was clean and even if was quite small, it was perfect for us.

I could say that the breakfast location was crowded. In the elevators, the Hotel made suggestions regarding the hour when is best to come to the restaurant but stating with 8:30 - 9 AM is really crowded. Also, this is not the hotel’s fault by any means.

Beautiful building and room, though the room was not very big (but absolutely comfortable). Nice rooftop swimming pool. Pretty close to the metro – only one stop away from Keleti train station.

A bit crowded at breakfast, but ok – depends on time, I guess. Somewhat more vegetables for breakfast would be good (there was some, but some empty, and not very much). Though it is meant as an extra service, I would actually prefer not to have a piccolo insisting on bringing the luggage to the room. I guess it is because of my culture (Scandinavian) this feels a bit awkward. He was very nice to talk to while going to the room, though.

The check-in process was a bit challenging, as the lobby staff member didn’t speak fluent English, didn’t understand everything I said, and wasn’t very patient. He eventually started acting quite unfriendly. This was the only negative experience we had at this hotel. the pools are very very small but do the work :) in addition - its was so hot in budapest and the air-condition in all our 4 rooms was super weak :(
