The location and breakfast were outstanding!

The lady in the reception didn’t ask if we wanted to pay in HUF or Euros and automatically charged us in HUF. The room was a little outdated. And the contract they provided us with was set as the visitor needs to compensate all the damaged items. However the room itself needed a several fixes to be made. Door in the wardrobe was broken and there were missing light bulbs on the top of the bed and a hanging wire. Also I found a black hair in between the bed sheets. But in our family we are all blonde.

The apartment is very well located, right in front of the metro station (M2), as well as buses and trams to various destinations. There are also many shops, restaurants and even a shopping centre and supermarket. The accommodation is quite comfortable, with new furniture and comfortable beds. I only didn't give it a 10* because we had a problem with the seal on the shower enclosure, which leaked water and flooded the entire bathroom.

The Location was very good, you had everything you needed next to the hotel e.g. supermarkets, restaurants, shops and Public Transport. The Hotel has a very pretty terrace where you can spend some time.

It was a little loud because our room was in direction of a Main Street with lots of traffic and people at night. The breakfast was small and not very tasty but for the money it’s okay

I’ve Stayed before a few years ago, happy then and happy now. Close to Keleti train station. There’s a metro right outside the front door. A Reissman bank right outside also, where you can use your debit card to enter the lobby to use the cash machine. Aldi or Lidl just around the corner, Tesco just down the road, and Burger King right outside also. Room was a nice size, cleaned everyday. Beautiful old building.

Maybe for the sake of the owners……..somewhere to hang wet towels.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, good view of the Blaha Lujza tér from the window.

When it’s a sunny day, the room can get quite warm, unfortunately the heater in the room cannot be adjusted, so it can be really hot during the day. Opening the window can be a solution. But adjustable heating would be perfect.

The price-quality ratio is really good. It is economic, so my room was small, but well made and with high ceilings. The bathroom is fully functional, with nice shower. Everything clean enough as well. A plus: you can turn off the heating if you like!

Nothing really wrong with the place. The price is low and one cannot expect to be in the Grand Hotel. My room was facing a busy street, but the windows are good enough to isolate the noise.

24 hr front desk & lift were a lifesaver when checking in at midnight. Single room was very compact (ie small!) but clean and quite ok for a couple of nights. Close to a hop on hop off bus stop (around the corner), so location works for me. (Also close to supermarket and public transport.)

No fridge. (I didn't notice that when booking.) Outer window wouldn't shut properly.

It is great value for money. The building is placed centally, the metro station is literally right at the entrance and the tram station is right across the street. Room was clean, with view to the interior yard which was lovely. Check-in and check-out was swift, the receptionists were nice.

Great location in the center of Budapest. Great check in at 14:00 definitely needed after spending Friday night in bratislava 😂. Highly recommend to anyone will definitely be my new base while in Budapest

The location is very convenient: the hotel is accessible from a major street with shops, bars, and restaurants all around. The Astoria metro station (where the night bus to/from the airport stops) is 11 minutes by foot. There is another metro station on the red line moments away. The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, with a double bed and a bunk bed. The mattress was great, my back was in heaven) There is a good shower cabin in the bathroom, with properly closing watertight doors and a strong hot water flow. You have to press a button at certain intervals to keep the water flowing, but that's not a huge problem. The interior is pretty basic, but overall, this option is great value for money in the center of Budapest.

The wi-fi signal was strong but inconsistent, disconnecting and reconnecting now and again. The storage space for your baggage (if you want to leave your bags at the hotel before check-in / after check-out) is a tiny hallway spot in between rooms 105 and 106. You literally just leave your stuff there, with residents of these rooms walking by all the time. I just hope the hotel was repairing their usual storage room or something. Nothing was missing from my things, but it felt super-unsafe. There was a stain on the carpet and on the wall.
