The staff were super friendly and kind while being professional. The hotel is in the heart of budapest close to transport links. The huge gate ensures that only people living on staying in the complex enter the area. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and although the hotel doesnt have airconditioning, they do provide great fans to keep you cool. The hotel is nicely decorated and even the upstairs rooms are only a very short flight of stairs away. They were kind enough to keep our pushchair on reception, and they were super kind to my toddler too. We will definitely book again whenever we stay in budapest next.

Everything was amazing

Great Location and very friendly staff. The breakfast was nice and the room was big enough for 2 persons. We had a mini bar as well. The bathroom was also quite spacious.

Every time we have to ring the reception to open the gates. Its better if they have explained how the gates operate in the reception when we check in (but its mentioned in the booking confirmation, yet everybody don't read). But they always responds fast as there is someone in the reception and we never had to wait outside for hours. So its not a negative.

Nothing everything was over my excepectition and as i regular user for booking during my traveling, i see reviews at any hotel i am planning to stay ,, I don't know why Espirt hotel is under rated,, i stayed at intercontinental hotel ,, it didn't provid me half service that i got at esprit hotel even the prices is 3 time more ,, !!!

It is located on a central boulevard, but set back from the street, so street noise was minimal. The bed was great, but the breakfast, which was included was substantial. Normally if an accomodation offers breakfast, it starts at a set time, like 7am.. But I had to leave at 6am, and they preapred a full breakfast and served it in my room at 6am sharp!

It didn't appear to have any A/C, but the property is located in the back of the courtyard which keeps the sun from shining in.

Rooms: Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-suited to our family’s needs. It provided enough room for all of us to relax after a day of sightseeing. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The decor was simple but everything was in good condition. Staff: The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions. The check-in was wery easy and fast because of the 7/24 reception. Parking: On our first stay, we parked in the hotel’s courtyard, which was very convenient. During our recent visit, the hotel provided us with a parking card for nearby garage, about 200 meters from the hotel. Both parking options were convenient Amenities: The hotel’s amenities are basic but sufficient. While the hotel does not offer an extensive range of facilities, what they do provide is well-maintained and convenient for a comfortable stay. Value for Money: Esprit Hotel offers excellent value for money. The combination of its central location, comfortable rooms, and helpful service makes it a great choice at a reasonable price. Overall, our experience at Esprit Hotel was once again very positive. We would highly recommend it to visiting Budapest. It’s a great base for exploring the city, with a welcoming atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable.

Its central location was ideal for exploring the city, with everything within walking distance, and close to public transportation Metro and tram, and bus. The team was efficient and quick to respond to any requests or inquiries. My room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay. I loved the buffet breakfast—it was well-organized and offered something for everyone. An excellent choice for travelers who want to visit Budapest and see the city and landmarks, highly recommended.

The location is quite good next to a metro stop and other International hotel brands but half the price. The television had many channels and the room seemed recently updated. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It's a quite strange communist Soviet style complex but that's what used to be here and so it's kind of dark and gray on the outside anyway. You should not expect natural light in your windows and I didn't really eat the breakfast. One night I could hear a woman crying in the room next door but that's not their problem but hers.

The property was a tad "hidden", first we walked by it, because it is deeper in a courtyard, but once found everything was fine. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and well maintained. It is a small room, but for the price is a fair value. There was an extra heater in the room, which I really appreciated, the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, and also very clean.

The room had no carpets at all, which was surprising, and not very pleasant in January, but a small inconvenience.
