I am a budget traveller and look for the best+cheapest options for accommodation. Omega for 3 nights was great value for money I m o! My room had good sized shower+toilet+sink),had kettle,microwave,hob to cook on, kitchen utensils to use + a fridge! Double bed(I slept well). Windows looked out onto a beautiful old courtyard.There is a main door+a corridor door which need keys to access+you have your room door + key so I felt very safe in the room! Building is used by other people/business so it can be a bit noisy/hectic but it didn't bother me . Breakfast was included with my booking but I didn't indulge so can't comment on the quality-quantity.

With windows open I listened to Sirens from ambulance/police ringing out pretty regularly and I heard the trams go by at night/day BUT for me that was part of experiencing Budapest.

An exceptional budget hotel. Super helpful and friendly staff, very clean room and bathrooms, and a little kitchenette in the room. The building and the rooms are also very secure. Omega would be a great place for someone who is staying more than a few days due to the great facilities. There is also a grocery store next door.

The bed was a little hard, and the entrance was a bit difficult to find initially. However these were very minor issues and would not affect my decision to stay there again.

As I had a full programme of baths, massages and other activities, Omega was ideal for me. A clean comfortable room with a good shower in a good location at a very reasonable price. My train was delayed and I arrived after midnight. The staff were all so kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. it was centrally located, very close to Public Transport, walking distance (for me) to all the major sights and the river. Being almost next door to the New York Cafe was a real bonus. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, could,'t have asked of more

Advertised parking...but not free parking...you have to read the small print.....who does that?...complecated on arrival...ended up paying or ourselves... PS....need a new fridge!

The location was exceptional, right next to metro station , easy to connect the city highlights! Shop is right next to the accommodation as well. 5-7 minutes walk from cafes and restaurants. The room was better than we expected! Clean and comfortable, what is the most important. The staff was very kind and helpful! They are hard workers, always ready to help! Check in went smoothly, we did some pre check in so everything went very quickly. The WiFi was good, water dispenser on the spot as well. Very charming inner yard, wish to have opportunity to see it on springtime as well.

What I didn’t like are the awful reviews. Complaining for noise.. well, the building is on Rakoczi ut, not in the woods. Complaining for dirty accommodation- not true, also for rude staff… for high expectations of 5star tourist this is not the place for stay. There is a fast food on the entrance., so it can be smelly, but it is delicious, we tried it.

I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, right next to the Blaha Lujza Square metro station, making it easy to explore Budapest. There's also a Lidl supermarket next to the entry, which was very convenient. The staff were kind and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and providing assistance throughout my stay. My room was clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom and next to the room I stayed in, there was access to a small shared kitchen, but it did not have an oven or stove to be able to cook something. Overall, it's a great value for money accommodation in the heart of the city. I would definitely recommend Omega Guesthouse to anyone visiting Budapest.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was quite adequate and had a good warm shower in the en-suite. The location was excellent with a Metro station very close. Keleti main railway station and lots of restaurants were within easy walking distance. Also, with a Lidl store right next door, a kettle in the room and a microwave, plates and cutlery available in the corridor, guests could cut costs by self-catering.

The bed was fine but the two small duvets provided were thin and didn't stay on very well, which was unfortunate because the weather was starting to cool. For the size of the bed (two single beds pushed together), really could have done with a single king-sized duvet.

Location is right at the metro station and before you reach the entrance, there's a huge Lidl shop for your selected consumtion needs l. Omega guests house offers a tranquile surroundings & strong Wifi, add the reasonable prices here and that alone makes this place hard to beat. That said, every time i visit, or just pass by Budapest, I automatically book my stay here and find the same comfort I had ever since 2015, when I first came here.

I feel as if am home here, so it's hard to find what i don't like. Perhaps the AC issue that you have to pay extra for remote control. I did suggest to the reception to provide each room with a ventilator at least, but there's only kettle provided.

Great communication with the staff before the trip about the parking. The location is superb. You are only 20 minutes on foot from St. Stephen's Basilica Christmas market and the Ferris wheel. There is a bus stop and metro stop less than 1 minute from hotel. There are many supermarkets around the hotel. The famous New York cafe is just around the corner practically. We had a family room. It was quiet big. Bathroom was decent. There was even a shared fridge and sink in the corridor. Breakfast is menu style, you can choose each day what you want to have for breakfast. You get keys to the main entrance and your room. The price was a real bargain and we extended our stay for one more night.
