I am a budget traveller and look for the best+cheapest options for accommodation. Omega for 3 nights was great value for money I m o! My room had good sized shower+toilet+sink),had kettle,microwave,hob to cook on, kitchen utensils to use + a fridge! Double bed(I slept well). Windows looked out onto a beautiful old courtyard.There is a main door+a corridor door which need keys to access+you have your room door + key so I felt very safe in the room! Building is used by other people/business so it can be a bit noisy/hectic but it didn't bother me . Breakfast was included with my booking but I didn't indulge so can't comment on the quality-quantity.

With windows open I listened to Sirens from ambulance/police ringing out pretty regularly and I heard the trams go by at night/day BUT for me that was part of experiencing Budapest.

An exceptional budget hotel. Super helpful and friendly staff, very clean room and bathrooms, and a little kitchenette in the room. The building and the rooms are also very secure. Omega would be a great place for someone who is staying more than a few days due to the great facilities. There is also a grocery store next door.

The bed was a little hard, and the entrance was a bit difficult to find initially. However these were very minor issues and would not affect my decision to stay there again.

As I had a full programme of baths, massages and other activities, Omega was ideal for me. A clean comfortable room with a good shower in a good location at a very reasonable price. My train was delayed and I arrived after midnight. The staff were all so kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend this accommodation without hesitation. it was centrally located, very close to Public Transport, walking distance (for me) to all the major sights and the river. Being almost next door to the New York Cafe was a real bonus. Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, could,'t have asked of more

Advertised parking...but not free parking...you have to read the small print.....who does that?...complecated on arrival...ended up paying or ourselves... PS....need a new fridge!

The location was exceptional, right next to metro station , easy to connect the city highlights! Shop is right next to the accommodation as well. 5-7 minutes walk from cafes and restaurants. The room was better than we expected! Clean and comfortable, what is the most important. The staff was very kind and helpful! They are hard workers, always ready to help! Check in went smoothly, we did some pre check in so everything went very quickly. The WiFi was good, water dispenser on the spot as well. Very charming inner yard, wish to have opportunity to see it on springtime as well.

What I didn’t like are the awful reviews. Complaining for noise.. well, the building is on Rakoczi ut, not in the woods. Complaining for dirty accommodation- not true, also for rude staff… for high expectations of 5star tourist this is not the place for stay. There is a fast food on the entrance., so it can be smelly, but it is delicious, we tried it.

Good location with excellent and swift connections everywhere in the city by public transport and close to the Jewish quarter nightlife area. Fair value for money, for this price one should not expect 5* facilities but a decent and clean place to sleep and refresh yourself. Very nice and helpful staff!

Streetside room was simply too noisy because of the passing heavy traffic on one of the main thoroughfares just outside of the window. Luckily after the first night I was able to change my room to the garden side, which was not problem at all for the staff. Thank you for that!

I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, right next to the Blaha Lujza Square metro station, making it easy to explore Budapest. There's also a Lidl supermarket next to the entry, which was very convenient. The staff were kind and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and providing assistance throughout my stay. My room was clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom and next to the room I stayed in, there was access to a small shared kitchen, but it did not have an oven or stove to be able to cook something. Overall, it's a great value for money accommodation in the heart of the city. I would definitely recommend Omega Guesthouse to anyone visiting Budapest.

Excellent little guesthouse, my fourth time here.Cosy, comfortable rooms and beds, spotless clean, quiet for a good nights sleep. Infact I dont remember sleeping so well for weeks. Great bed and hot water im the shower. Easy checkin. Proximity to all places of interest in Budapest. Fantastic price/quality ratio, All the best to Aron and rest of staff. They even gave me my old room from 2021 Will return again for sure, recommend this place

Location is very good as it is close to the metro and bus, and tram lines, also near a lot of restaurants and bars. I also enjoyed the peaceful courtyard that makes up the interior of the building. It is a great place to relax, have breakfast, use your laptop or whatever. A fridge, freezer and microwave are available in a public area. The entrance can be difficult to find. It is sign-posted but not obvious. Look for the gate right next to a kebab stand. That is the entrance.

The only issue I had was that the Wi-Fi signal could be stronger and more stable.
