Despite being on vocation, I also had to do some urgent work and the staff assisted with printing and scanning- at no charge. The staff at reception were always friendly and helpful - with directions; and advice. I enjoyed the sauna- clean and all the facilities were available - shower, toilet etc. I enjoyed sitting in the foyer area where there were good books on the attractions and history of Budapest. I love history and enjoyed Budapest.

WiFi is terrible. Not reliable for work, I had to go to another location for an important meeting. Even simple browsing is difficult. This is the only drawback but in this day and age it is a very critical one, and weirdly easy to solve so I am not sure why this hasn’t been done. Even the small cafes have good WiFi internet.

The hotel is an old and beautiful building with high ceilings and spacious staircases. It’s located close to main attractions so you can easily walk to them. The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable. The housekeepers did the room cleaning every day. There was a small infrared sauna on the 5th floor of the hotel which was complimentary

There were no boiled eggs at breakfast just omelette.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities were lovely and comfortable. We tried the breakfast and the arrangement was delicious. Overall a really positive stay and would recommend to other people.

There was a slight issue with the payment system so we were double charged for the room but the staff have been very helpful and efficient at resolving the issue. Therefore I would only call it a minor inconvenience. 😀

Excellent location on the intersection of two thoroughfares. There is a metro station right underneath the hotel which you access by walking 50m from the lobby. There is a streetcar station 20m across the street from the lobby. You can reach all of Budapest from here. Apothecary and banks are next door. A little walk will take you into the thriving Jewish District with all of its bars and restaurants. The hotel has a working bar that is open every night, even on holidays, and they offer food. (Hotel bars are very important for yours truly, and I loathe the place where I cannot get anything to drink or a small meal after getting back to my room.) The staff are uber friendly, helpful, and they even put up with my smattering of Hungarian. Staffing is 24/7 as it should be in a decent hotel. Breakfast is quite good. My hotel room, although small, had a writing desk. Room service was available every day, and they communicated with us. There was a minibar in the room. The hotel has a history, and it feels well.

The rooms I had (116 for me and my wife, 414 for our two sons) were too small . Frankly, there was not enough room to swing a cat, and particularly no way to put your suitcases out of sight. When under heavy duty, the -- otherwise excellent -- breakfast buffet quickly turns into an "elfogjott" mode. I never got to taste my son's recommendation of the lazac tatár :-) But that shows the level of my critisicsm -- all the same, it would by nice if the buffet were replenished quicker.

The hotel itself was inside a beautiful building with a nice interior. It is perfectly located near the city center very close to a big square with a metro station and a great variety of stores and restaurants. However, it was still very quiet inside our room. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was in a beautiful room and it offered a large variety of options, all of which were very delicious.

The only problem we had was with the housekeeping: We asked to have the bedsheets changed several times, but they had not been changed. However, the reception staff was very helpful and made sure that our bedsheets were changed eventually.

There isn't anything that I did not like , if more facilities required I would have paid for a more expensive hotel There is a sauna but we were too busy around the city to use it

front deck persons were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Prime location to get anywhere quickly. Bus, tram and subway were all right there. Room was spacious.

We were at the end of the long narrow hallway on the fifth floor farthest from the elevator. When the maids were servicing the rooms was tight to get around the carts for us. My only minor negative comment.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout our visit. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city on foot, with many key attractions, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for both families and solo travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Budapest.

The location was perfect. For someone who lakes to walk a lot I found it possible to visit everywhere on my wish list on foot. At check in I was met with very friendly efficiency. The breakfast menu was excellent and I particularly liked the ambience in the bar in the evening with the piano player. The room was of a very high standard. Even at 06:30 0n Sunday morning check out was as smooth as check in.

The only downside was despite being on the 4th floor the road noise was evident throughout the night. I would ask for a room away from the road next time.
