The communal areas and hotel rooms were beautifully decorated. The hotel was clean and it has some very friendly staff who are happy to help you and give advice about the area etc. The hotel was quiet and the breakfast was nice. It was nice to have free teas, coffees and cakes available near reception all day. The beds were comfortable. The location had good transport links nearby, both tram and metro lines.

The hand towels for the first two days were the size of a flannel/face cloth which became saturated very quickly! After that we had slightly larger ones and this was better. The bath towels could also be a bit bigger but not a big deal in the scheme of things.

This hotel has a charming historical atmosphere and is remarkably clean with excellent, comfortable beds. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant experience. Breakfast is satisfying. A great bonus is the ready availability of e-steps right outside the hotel.

While the e-steps directly outside help with accessibility, the hotel's location is a bit out of the way. The breakfast lacks variety, and the rooms, even superior ones, can be quite noisy, with sound easily traveling between rooms. The small bathrooms, equipped with sliding doors, offer limited privacy.

The whole experience was great! The main plus was the hospitality of the staff! Very friendly and, especially Zsolt, made us feel like close friends 😊 many thanks for that and the beautiful surprise for my wife's birthday - a personalised postcard & champagne and a song chosen for us during breakfast 😀 I believe this was one of the best places we've ever been so far for location, comfort, price and service: personalised guidance for check-in, the transfer from the airport was prearranged as well, nice breakfast (good coffee 😁), lots of visitors advice from reception (even umbrellas for borrowing). Overall a great stay, no flaws! I was indeed pleased to find out the reviews were true.

It was an amazing place to stay! We spent a week there and loved everything about it. The rooms are spotless and spacious, and the service is outstanding, everyone is so kind and thoughtful. They even gave us a flower soap for Valentine’s Day! Both receptionists were incredibly helpful, offering great advice on what to see in Budapest. The breakfast is lovely, but what really sets this hotel apart is the free tea, coffee, and even hot wine with dessert available all day and for free. The location is perfect, right in the center and close to all transport. We highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again! Thank you to the wonderful staff! 😊

The only minor downside was a smell from the bathroom pipes, but it wasn’t too bothersome.

We had a truly delightful stay at this charming boutique hotel in Budapest. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. Mornings were a treat thanks to the lovely breakfast . The hotel’s location is perfect, with close distance to public transport. We chose to walk and explore the city and the hotel’s location made that pretty easy! I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing experience in Budapest!

Everything was great

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It’s a small, cozy, and exceptionally clean place where you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms are spotless, and the entire hotel is very well maintained. Breakfasts were delicious, with a nice variety of fresh options to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful, ready to assist with anything we needed, which made our stay even more pleasant. A special touch that truly impressed us was a surprise gift for my husband’s birthday — a lovely bottle of Hungarian wine. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our experience even more memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return on our next visit!

The location is very good for strolling the city by foot as all the landmarks are accessible either by foot or public transport nearby. The accommodation in general is very clean and tidy. The staff is welcoming and warmhearted. The accommodation is located in a very quiet neighbourhood off the main street so this is a big plus for a beauty sleep.

Even though the breakfast area is clean and put together well, it is not spacious enough and the food is all around the room which doesn't make it quite accessible to fill your plate. The breakfast atmosphere is very quiet and the tables are very close to one another so it can be a bit uncomfortable as you can hear all the conversations around you. This can be easily fixed with some nice morning music.

The location was perfect for exploring Budapest. Close to public transport but also very walkable to restaurants and activities. The area is more residential which allows it to be quieter than other hotels I can imagine. Breakfast served was mixed but mainly continental. A good variety of foods to chose from. Nice touches of coffee and tea available during the day as well. The bedroom was bigger than I expected and we both slept really well. To the point we looked up the mattresses after. With a small couple of changes this could easily be a 4 star hotel I was thinking. Stayed 3 nights.

The only thing that could be improved was the shower head and pressure but this is a small thing and personal.

Everything was perfect!

This is a real gem. Located in a quiet street on the Pest side, the hotel opens into a small courtyard. The staff are super kind and helpful. Breakfast had lots of choice including fruit, yoghurt, meats, bread, eggs and pastries. Staff are on reception during the day if you need advice and tea and coffee were available through the day. Bedroom was clean and refreshed daily. We walked to the airport bus easily from here. Loved our stay 🫶

Nothing. We stayed in Winter so the courtyard was not used - in Summer there may be a different vibe but likely only for the better.
