Didn't see owner or staff around but the communication with the responsible person was great, via mail. She responded immediately. She was very helpful. Very close (100 meters) to metro, bus, tram. The building is old but well contained. There is an old fashioned elevator :) The place was clean.

The parking is a problem in the whole city. There is parking space close to the hostel. You have to pay for it. In order no to go to the machine every 3 hours, you can pay online via "Parking Hungary" web page or app. Just remember your parking zone.

Seeing the other reviews I was worried to say the least, but we took a gamble and made the reservation nonetheless due to the good price. I was more than pleasantly surprised with the room and the rest of the apartment. Everything was super clean and it had all the amenities promised in the ad - towels, bedding, and specific to our room a small kitchen area and private bathroom. Besides that, the location is amazing, there was no extreme noise even with other guests around, the host communicated in a clear and timely manner and overall we were super happy with our 3 night stay. Some things I believe do need a refresher, but if you're okay with that, I totally recommend it.

As mentioned above, I think the towels and the bedding for example, could use a change as, despite clean, they look a little old. I also wish both kitchens were a bit more complete, with a hob of some sort for example. The sound isolation of the place isn't great, but it didn't impact us - you could hear just the normal noise one inevitably does while moving stuff around and talking during the day, but at night the whole apartment was silent.

I stayed in a nice, small room and really enjoyed my time here. The hostel is perfectly located in the center of Budapest, close to all the main sights, public transport, and lots of restaurants and cafes. The room was clean, quiet, and just what I needed. The bathroom was shared but always tidy and well-maintained. There’s also a fully equipped shared kitchen, which was very convenient. The staff were not on-site but easily reachable online and responded quickly to any questions or requests. Everything was well-organized, and check-in was smooth thanks to clear instructions. Overall, it was a great mix of privacy, comfort, and value — I’d definitely stay here again!

Absolutely fantastic stay! The location is perfect—central, safe, and within walking distance to everything you'd want to see. The room was spotless and comfortable. Check-in was seamless, communication was clear and friendly, and the host was always available for questions. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite being in the heart of the city. What really stood out was the excellent value for money Highly recommend this place and I would definitely come back!

Staff is amazing, we had some problem with enterance and they responded really fast. Self check-in is great option. Bathroom was clean and equipped with everything you need. Bedsheets were clean, we also got towels. Great internet connection.

Room is good for the price but not that good to stay more than 1-2 nights. Our room had one little window on top of the wall, a but claustrophobic. Also, beds and pillows are not so comfy, but it was ok for us to stay for one night cause everything was clean.

I had a wonderful three-day stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail was just right. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing the perfect space to relax after a busy day. I also appreciated the convenient location and the quality of the on-site amenities. I’d definitely stay here again!

Everything was fine!

As soon as we booked the place, we got an e-mail very clearly explaining the locations and rules. Upon arrival, the lady at the office was nice and even though we had a slight misunderstaning with the passcode for the apartment, everything was quickly taken care of. The room itself was pretty spacious and clean. The bathroom and toilets were fine, everything served its purpose. I haven't spent much time in the shared kitchen but it seemed alright, the dishes were always clean. Pretty much everyone was decent and respected the rules. No one was noisy nor left the shared areas filthy. The price of the room for its quality is totally fair and the location is amazing.

The only negative remark I have about the room itself was the electrical outlets. They worked fine but they sticked out of the wall and some of the plastic was broken which could potentionally be a safety hazard. The Wi-Fi didn't work. This is not the host's fault but I wouldn't recommend using the fridge unless you don't mind someone taking your stuff which happened to us.

Promptness and responsiveness of host - I even arrived earlier than the check in time and wanted to leave luggage in, and the host came immediately and checked us in earlier. Nice room, without noise, wonderful view into the city - very close to city center. Clean toilet.

Location in city center, and a very cheap price comparing to other competitors. It's still your private room. room is not big but enough place for storage.

Bathroom facilities are giving small dormitory vibe :) . Still mostly fine. Check in process is truly extremely complicated. Check in place is 15 min walk. You ether leave someone with you luggage at place to wait, or make two stops at two locations. At least you don't have to go to the office after checkout. Soundproofness is also not the great, but neighbors were fine.

I’m not sure what anyone leaving bad reviews expects, but considering the price and the fact, that the room wasn’t shared with 10 other people, it was a brilliant and cheap (actually cheapest) option for a weekend stay in Budapest. I would definitely stay again. It was acceptably clean, the key collection was very pleasant, the staff was very helpful and kind. The location was great as well, with easy connections to all the places we wanted to get to.
