I stayed in a private room with my own bathroom. The front desk staff are all very friendly. The kitchen has everything I needed. I got the breakfast, but it was pricey for what it was. I think it’s better to not get it and then buy it when you get there on days you want it. There was an elevator. There is a WhatsApp group to hear what is going on. There were bicycles to borrow for free, but for me, the area was too crowded to use them. It was a great location, especially for nightlife. I was able to store my luggage there for free. It is easy to get to transportation from there.

All members of staff were extremely helpful in all ways, from reception desk to kitchen staff and chambermaids. Security was excellent. I personally very much liked to see kitchen open 24 hours. It was nice to have tea and coffee at any time for free. Kitchen was always spotless clean. Bathrooms were also excellent.

I very much liked the idea of mixed dorms, it was a new experience for me but was excellent idea . People respected each other 's space. Above all , it was good value for money. I am looking forward to staying again in the future in your place. I have already recommended your place to me friends and colleagues.

Absolutely the best Hostel I have stayed in while travelling 8 European countries. So welcoming and helpful with everything. Thank you Honni for nailing every suggestion of places to see or restaurants to experience, she read my personality perfectly! The beds comfortable, private and lock boxes underneath. The facilities are beautiful with lots of place to lounge a beautiful kitchen/dining room superbly equipped. Location was perfect for access to all transportation and lots of great dining, shopping and nightlife. After 6 nights I actually felt emotional leaving 😂

I appreciate the cleaning team but they clean but they were there at the totally wrong time. 8-9am when people are getting up using the bathroom and kitchen the cleaners are all over the place and we are in each others way. Same for the evening 6-7pm , just when everyone is using the kitchen for dinner prep, the cleaners are all over mopping the floor, cleaning everything , emptying bins etc...we were all in each others way again! It should be easy to have them clean at 6am or BEFORE people get up and start using the facilities and again in evening 5 pm or so, BEFORE people start dinner prep. Just not at the same time!! I've stayed at all Maverick's and they all have the same problem. You can see the frustration in them and the guests.

MAVERICH SOHO excellent place, first and most important is - staff are amazing people who have been working hard to make the best of my time. HANNI,ELAHANDRO, MIMI and DANI & HOPE - all are very professional and have good harts. everything i asked for - i have been received. put my backpack in the special room before checking in, one more towel, hangers for shirts , instructions to look around in the city. the place is super clean and has a lot of public areas, kitchen with all electrical equipment and dishes .the building itself is in amazing location!!! a lot of good restaurants and places to enjoy . iris

I arrived at 4am and Mimi at Check In was perfect. It was nice to be able to use my native tongue as I was very tired. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well equiped.

No hostel bar to make it cheaper for guests, our reeltionisy only gave us one key which was a bit annoying but then more annoying to be accused of not returning at checkout. Also if there are towels available it would have been nice to know as we didn’t realise after checking in at 10pm and then using ours thinking they’d be on our beds and not going back down only to see everyone else have them in the morning? Not a big deal but a gripe

Amazing hostel in the heart of the Jewish quarter. The location is perfect. If you enjoy walking, you won’t need any transportation to discover all the Pest side of the city. Only steps away from places of interests such as the Synagogue, the famous Szimpla Kert ruin bar, and to many vintage shops, well-rated restaurants (Getto Gulyas, Remma’s Bistro) and cafés. Plenty of nightlife around. The hostel is much cleaner than other hostels I have been to, including the toilets. The showers are huge. I didn’t use the kitchen or communal areas since I spent most time visiting the city. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and can give lots of recommendations on what to see and do. There are also leaflets available with info on free (actually tip-based) tours, with very knowledgeable guides. Highly recommend and would definitely be my choice if I ever plan to visit Budapest again. Also had a very convenient luggage room so that you could leave your bag before checking in and after checking out to continue exploring the city.

Only downside was the location of my bunk bed. Upper bed, farthest from the window, and next to the door, which was disturbing each time someone opened it. A personal reminder to ask for a better option next time. Overall the hostel is super clean but I did find hair/dirt on the side of my bed which I wish had been cleaned.

Close to public transport and in amongst all activities/sites for tourists. Lift in complex and loved the air conditioning in private room. Quiet huge room on level 3 at end of walkway (room 354) despite 2 large windows out the back bar. I slept soundly each of my three nights.

Would have preferred in private rooms a teaspoon, given there were cups, tea, coffee and sugar - but nothing to stir the cuppa. For some reason, both of my keys did not work upon return from a big day of walking. No issue to fix, but odd both keys did not work at the same time.

The location of the hostel is nice. Lots of place to have your food near the hostel. Street food Karavan is just near. The place is clean specially the toilet, staffs always clean it every morning. Also you can use their kitchen and it is clean also. Room and the bed is fine.

Hostel should have like a house rule regarding noise cause clearly some tourist or occupants are so noisy even it is like 12midnight or 1 am. I remember it is past midnight and lots of girls are laughing and giggling in their room not considering others who are sleeping and resting already.
