I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my parents, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The entire property was spotlessly clean – from the rooms to the common areas, everything was extremely well-maintained and fresh. The breakfast was generous and delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. It was a great way to start each day. One of the biggest advantages was the perfect location – right in the heart of the city. We could walk to most major attractions, and public transport was just around the corner. If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently located hotel with a great breakfast, this is the place to stay. I would come back!

Everything was nice. No complaint at all.

The hotel was a nice surprise! Location is absolutely wonderful, staff very friendly, rooms and bathroom very clean. Breakfast well prepared with good choice of fresh salad, fruit, and all day coffee, tea, juices. Also pleasant to be able to open a window in the hotel room!!

The breakfast area is not extremely spacious, found out later that there is also a possibility to use the upper diner room. This was not mentioned at check in and might be a suggestion to mention.

The location was phenomenal. The hotel was close to many activities within walking distance and close to major transportation arteries to easily access other parts of the city. For religious Jews, this hotel is also recommended because of shabbat facilities, mechanical lock, and inactive light sensors during shabbat. The hotel is also walking distance from all local synagogues, kosher markets, bakery, and most kosher restaurants in Budapest.

There was an inadequately sized refrigerator in the room. Only a tiny mini bar which could barely fit a 500ml bottled beverage. We had no other option but to store our perishable items in a somewhat larger refrigerator behind the front desk. Not convenient.

We loved how kind the staff was, how helpful and lovely the reception staff was, special thanks to Ruwini for all the help and the smiles. The structure of the hotel was extremely clean and prepared, we truly enjoyed the breakfast buffet and how it was always full and refilled, also if you came in extremely early or late. We had a booking with halfboard at the restaurant Levante, the food was tasty, fresh and well-prepared, however, i do not suggest to book it for longer stays as the menu is not that big nor varies, but we do strongly believe it is totally worth at least one visit.

I absolutely adore the location! Literally near everything! The room was modern and spacious, covering all of our needs! The staff is very kind and helpful! Also it’s a very secure place, and the breakfast is very good! Love the fact that there’s is a 24h reception, and a lobby where I can enjoy my coffee anytime! Also, I enjoy that there’s also a restaurant there!

Well, unfortunately the first two nights the air conditioning of the hotel wasn’t working properly, however it got fixed! Also the fridge in the room wasn’t powerful at all making it barely usable. But these are just tiny details!

Location, friendly staff, cosy room with a view at the Synagogue and the street, yet not noisy even for the light sleeper. Very polite young people work in the hotel.

Food choice could be wider. For dinner, the hotel offers just a few dishes and that's fine, but almost all of them are Eastern Mediterranean and they have few Hungarian dishes as well. That means spicy food so people with even minor digestive issues can't make the right choice. Also, children especially young wouldn't be able to eat anything. That's important because families with small kids often opt for half board.

Location was great and had a lovely deluxe room with a view of the Synagogue. Breakfast was good lots to choose from and the breakfast room was available to guests all day if you wish to have a tea/coffee, fill water bottles, pastries etc. Lady on the front desk was so helpful booking our boat cruise and giving us tips! 5 mins to Airport bus which runs very often. Some nice restaurants in the Jewish District and near the Ruin Bars too.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived just before 2pm, it would have been nice if the guy on the desk informed us about the breakfast room at that sage - so we could wait the 30 mins, to have a coffee there.

I did not like the parking policy. I had the info that I would pay 30 euros per each 24 hours. I parked on Monday at 8:00 and was expecting to take the car out at 8:00 on Wednesday. The 60 euros I paid were only valid until Tuesday 24:00 which means I paid 60 euros for 40 hours and had to find an alternative for the last night in Budapest. Also, the staff did not seem to be simpatethic with my problem and I was not even able to get coins for the parking at the front desk. I had to change in the street. I accept that the parking policy might have been a misunderstanding from my side (?). Except for the above, a minor issue, I really enjoyed my time at HMB and I will recommend it and plan to stay at HMB when I return to Budapest.

Excellent for my short stay. There is a section where breakfast is served. Here, you can drink and eat as much as you want throughout the day (juice, water, etc.). The bed was comfortable, and the a/c worked perfectly.

After I checked in, I approached my room, and there was no electricity in the room for a technical malfunction. The a/c fan was extremely noisy as well. However, the staff was kind enough to sort this out and remediate the situation. These types of things are hard to control, and I am glad the staff was there for me when I needed the most, especially after an entire day of consecutive flights

We stayed at Memories Hotel in Budapest in January with our child, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. We arrived early in the morning and were pleasantly surprised to receive a free early check-in — such a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference after our trip. The breakfasts were delicious, fresh, and varied. The location is perfectly central — we could walk everywhere, no need for public transport at all. The staff was exceptional: kind, polite, and always responsive to any requests or questions we had. One situation really stood out — when our friends’ child suddenly felt unwell, the staff reacted immediately. They called a taxi, gave clear instructions, and showed incredible care and attention, helping them get to the hospital quickly and safely. We’re deeply grateful for their support during that stressful moment. Overall, great value for money, especially considering the central location and the free lounge access. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Huge thanks to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable — we’ll definitely be back!
