I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Budapest M-Square, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked into the beautifully designed lobby, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. They allowed early check in for no additional cost. The level of service provided by the hotel's staff was truly outstanding. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's fantastic location. Situated in the heart of Budapest, it was within walking distance of many of the city's iconic attractions, including M-Square itself. I was able to explore the city with ease and return to the hotel whenever I needed a break. The attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction at the Leonardo Boutique Hotel Budapest M-Square are truly commendable. I can't say enough good things about this hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. My stay here was nothing short of perfection, and I look forward to returning in the future.

The property felt very safe and in a good area it was right in the centre so when walking back at night there was a lot of people around. Close to the airport transfer 100E bus making it easy and cheap to get to and from the airport. Also a 2 min walk to the train station and by trams. Staff were friendly and someone was always at the reception desk. There is good luggage storage with combination code lockers so it felt safe leaving our stuff. Overall great value the room was clean we stayed in one of the cozy room on level 5 and it had enough space the bathroom was big. We didn’t have breakfast but it seemed popular in the mornings we went to a cafe round the corner which sold pastries ranging from 850ft to 2000ft which was affordable.

Very good location, plenty to do nearby. Room was tended to each day so, it was clean and they gave free bottles of water each day. Nice size room, with comfy beds. However, pillows are quite small. But, can request more. Room had a nice big wardrobe and small fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Front desk were fairly friendly, didn’t always greet upon entering but, were more than happy to help. Free hot drinks always available. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again!

Housekeeping were noisy each morning, even with the do not disturb they were loud cleaning other surrounding rooms. Also, despite us requesting extra pillows, housekeeping took them away each day. So had to keep re-requesting them. TV was VERY limited. Couldn’t change language and did not find many channels in English and couldn’t couldn’t connect phone to TV. Wifi was sometimes temperamental, didn’t always work great. Room phone did not work, it wasn’t even connected, it didn’t have a power cable so, couldn’t call reception. If I’m being picky, grouting in the bathroom was a bit mouldy but, not too much to be an issue.

Great hotel accommodation, could not find any faults. Upon arrival I checked in a bit later than planned but I got in my room very quickly then headed straight back out to grab a drink. The room was on the second floor and was very peaceful, I did not hear any outdoor noise or hallway noise either. I slept very well for the 4 nights I was there. There was plenty of choice for breakfast which would suit everyone. The location is right in the heart of the city centre so many bars, restaurants, cafes within short walking distance and a choice of public transport links as well if you don't prefer to do a lot of walking. When I go back to Budapest I'll definitely be staying here again, thank you A***

We requested earlier check in as we had to return our car rental at the airport and we did not want to take all our luggage with us. The hotel gave us our room earlier which made our car return easy. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was on the 6th floor, very spacious and clean. We had 2 twin beds with good pillows and the beds were comfortable. The room was very quiet, you didn't hear any noise from other guests. The location of the hotel is superb, very central by Deak Square and easy to get to all the main attractions. Stayed here before and will return the next time.

Stayed here last year and to get to the hotel rules changed. The City no longer allows Taxis or cars to access the hotel. We had to park a street away and roll our luggage to the hotel. Same thing on departure, the taxi waited at the corner of the street while we rolled our luggage back. It is not the hotels fault. If you have lots of luggage it can be troubling, we did have a lot but we still managed. I would definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel was perfect, everywhere that we wanted to visit was within walking distance. The hotel was clean, comfortable and all staff were extremely friendly. Tea and coffee on tap in the room and also available in the reception area. We added breakfast option to our stay which there was ample choice that would suit everyone’s palate. We arrived early and we were able to check in straight away which was an added bonus for us to drop our bags and head out to explore. On the day of departure we could have kept our room later as we had an evening flight, but we chose to use the hotel locker room (free of charge) so that we could be out all day. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend Leonardo chain.

Breakfast was wonderful!

Booking.com messed up our reservation! We booked a support room with breakfast. Bookong.com sent a notice asking if we wanted to upgrade to a garden view that would be quieter. When I booked yes-the price jumped and the site downgraded our room to cozy for more money. When we arrived at the hotel they were surprised because they had no garden view rooms. They were able to give us a support room but it ended up about $20 higher than the original price since booking.com cancelled the original reservation. The hotel was wonderful but booking.com was not!!!

Location was great. Very close to the main shopping area and only 10 minutes walk to the Chain Bridge and the Danube. The main Metro stations and tram halts were right beside the hotel, too. The Airport Express bus stop was also just across the road

Twice during our 5 night stay, we were wakened in the early hours by the fire alarm going off. Luckily, it was a false alarm on both occasions, but it was very unsettling. Also, and I know it's maybe a small thing, but if you wanted to open a window in your room you needed to get a member of staff to unlock it, and then again when you wanted to close it. A bit more concerning considering the fire alarms and the fact the windows were locked closed! Also, every light switch gave you the feeling you might get an electric shock when you used it, especially the bathroom one, which crackled every time you switched the lights on or off

Lovely hotel with large comfy room. Breakfast choice was excellant. Free coffees in reception at all times. Staff all friendly and helpful. Hotel location is spot on for all the tourist attractions as well as great choice of restaurants and bars.

Toaster at breakfast in really bad location causing queues and blocking other guests reaching cooked breakfast items. Staff member who was ticking off guest names was also standing in this location instead of at the entrance to the breakfast room

The hotel is centrally located, and the room was comfortable and clean. We especially appreciated the free coffee machine available in the lobby. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of tasty options. After check-out, we were able to leave our luggage in a convenient and secure storage area, which was very helpful. Overall, a great experience and very good value for the price – highly recommended!

The only minor downside was the lack of a place to refill water bottles.
