Loved the size of lockers for each bed, the rooms were spacious and had privacy for each bed. The location was unbeatable with public transit stations right there and other main attractions 15-20min walk away with lots to see and due while on route. The staff were the sweetest and so kind. Held our bags for us when we got in early and offered for when we left if needed. The rooms had ac which was nice since it was so hot.

Sometimes the bathroom lights were confusing and often out of paper. As well, the shower always overflowed and didn’t have the best drainage. This isn’t really the property but someone else in our room consistently turned off the ac when it was unbearably hot (26 degrees Celsius) in the bunk beds, and it felt even worse since we had been sick.

Incredible location - bus 100E drops you from the airport right by the hostel's doorstep. And you also just need to cross the same street to get back to the airport on the same bus (bus price is cheap). Near the hostel are multiple restaurants. We recommend Mir Restaurant just behind the hostel for value-for-price meals. The bed in itself was comfortable, not new but good enough to sleep in. An Aircon machine is available in the room which we used in June as the city was warm at this time. We got the exclusive bedroom for 2 with a private external bathroom which was more than good enough Best part too is the hostel has a common kitchen to enjoy free coffee and tea and heat or cook food on those days you don't feel like eating out. Souvenir shops also available on the same street. So many buses pass by the hostel's stop so perfect for tours and visiting attractions by bus etc.

No shampoo in the bathroom but I'm sure it could be requested.

Amazing Location just next to all Budapest has to offer. You will find everything at a 5 minute walk. Rooms are big and have small room air conditioners too. Toilet and showers are Super clean and the guy at reception was super friendly. I am sorry i forgot his name 😔. Best for value. 5 Euros for a towel if you need one. And they do accept Contactless payments. They also have a very nice clean Kitchen where you can cook and eat too. There are big lockers next to each bed. You will have to bring your own padlock or else you can buy from the hostel for 5 euros. My room had sofas as well which is rare in Hostels. Would definitely be coming again 🙂.

Everything was perfect

So worth for its moneyy. The staff were nice, rooms were fine and clean. We got the room with 2 separate beds and a external bathroom that we shared with the room next-door. The location was great, walkable from main night-out spots.

The building which the hotel was located was not very nice, and hard to find at first- the sign for the hostel is small, but it is not a big problem at all. The room was quite noisy sometimes, bc its right in the city center. There is no night reception but the system for keys was easy.

We had a friendly welcome from the female receptionist and the room turned out to be available a little before check-in time. Stayed in spacious, clean private room with big smart TV(so I can't comment on typical shared rooms/bathrooms). Despite I only used the kettle(stock in tea&coffee)and fridge which was very convenient, shared kitchen seemed pretty equipped for cooking. Perfect location in general, but especially for airport as the bus stop 100E is across the street. It was warm in the room and in the hall, an electric heater was working overnight.

-No shower gel -A bit noisy till late from outside (Friday night)

was near underground/bus/airport bus station/. Near tourist office. near the Budapest wheel, and easily you could go everywhere. Reps were nice and helpful.

the fact that was top bed. I do understand was occupied when I did arrived. (even if I did request down bed in my 1rst message). But would b nice if would be possible to switch it when is possible. Some people ask with a reason to be down and not up( could be medical reason, just saying. The rep from reception try to do it but she said the system does not let her. So she did try her best). In the bathroom the shower cabin floor should be replaced .

Location was perfect to our needs. First, it was only a couple hundred yards from where the 100E airport bus drops you off and on the same street. The tram is also located next to the bus stop so you have access to the tram, city buses and the 100E airport bus. After you get off of the 100E bus, make a right and backtrack until you spot the hostel sign. An easier sign to spot is the angel/devil sign from a eatery and the Thai restaurant. When you see there you are right next to the hostel. Use the code you were emailed to get in the front door and then take the elevator on the right to 1/2 (yes, half) floor stop. As you step out of the elevator the front door is on the right. Check in was super easy and fast. Te women staffing the front desk kind and helpful. The hostel is staffed only from 9AM until 9PM so I am unsure what happens if you arrive late. Short walk to the river and to the pedestrian shopping street. It wasn't the Ritz Carleton but you can see the Ritz from your room if you get the right room. So if you don't need the RItz for your Budapest stay, the WOW is a location that is hard to beat.

We had some difficulty with our reservation in that I opted to pay upon arrival. A few days later I received an email saying my reservation would be canceled if I did not pay at least 5 days ahead of arrival time. After much screwing around trying to pay for the reservation to include calling Hotel.com for assistance, I ended going to Booking.com and making a separate reservation (paid for at the time of the reservation) and then canceling the reservation on Hotels.com. I definitely was not flying 15 hours to arrive at a hotel that may or may not have a reservation for me. So I recommend just paying for your reservation when you make it to avoid a possible repeat of my issue.

The Kitchen area is well organized and meets many needs for what you could need when preparing a meal. The bathrooms are adequate. The staff is ready to help. I greatly enjoyed the hospitality I received here. The mix of this along with the common area/living room and kitchen area gives this hostel a nice home like feel to it. I’m appreciative that I had the opportunity to have a visit here.

The wifi within the room can be a bit spotty. It’s inconvenient having it go in and out…thankfully this was mostly within the room and not entirely throughout the rest of the floor at the hostel. Within one of the showers I wonder when was the last time the shower head was addressed. It could use a clean or changed entirely due to the spray of water being a bit out of place from how it should function.

Very well located, rooms were clean, and every bed had a curtain for extra privacy. The staff was friendly and helped me with everything I needed. Well equipped kitchen, everything was clean.

Really not a big deal, but I personally don't like when the only option to shower is with water pouring from the overhead shower head, without the option of using a handheld shower.

Very central location. Truly spacious dorm room, with enough "room" even for the stuff you don't plan to put in the locker. There is even a long couch. Kitchen area with basic utensils, and possibility to make yourself a tea or coffee, or heat / bake your dinner.

Extremely low-energy lightbulb in the kitchen (the only space where you could possibly sit by a table and work on your laptop). The hostel could use a bit of facelifting - electronic key touchpad on the door looks broken (even if it works). The buzzer on the main entrance was not heard when I first arrived, had to wait for the next person to enter the building, which luckily didn't take long. I slightly dislike when receptionists talk long and slow to communicate simple and straightforward things. Everything (even a simple "airport bus stops accross the street", or "you can use everything in the kitchen, just clean after yourself" felt here too extended). It might be just my personal taste, and that did not have an effect on my rating.
