Location is perfect. Close to Austoria metro station and Airport Shuttle. Hotel staff is very helpful and supportive. Wifi is Ok. Bathroom was very clean.

AC filters need to be periodically checked and cleaned.

The TV might be a little lower quality and size that would be reasonable for the room

The room was clean, fully equipped (they even put water bottles and wine) in a perfect location in downtown budapest

The elevator was old yet necessary (the hotel is on the 3rd floor)

Budapest Panorama Central remains one of the best value-for-money budget family hotels in Europe, let alone Budapest! I have been staying here for more than five years and will keep coming back. The beds are extremely comfortable, the bathrooms clean and spacious enough, the Wi-Fi solid, and while simple, the rooms have everything you may need, such as shampoo and conditioner, a hairdryer, a kettle, coffee, tea, and sweeteners. The family running it and their staff also deserve a shoutout for kindness and responsiveness. For barely EUR 70 for two people during high season, Panorama Central remains a great place to stay at a great price. Bear in mind that the airport bus stops virtually down the block from the hotel, making the transfer cheap and simple, too. As I have said, I cannot wait to stay with Panorama again.

Very helpful staff. Centrally located right where you need to be to see everything in Budapest. Public transport links right outside your door. Everything was clean, bath and shower very good. Bottles of wine provided by the hotel in the room. Handy fridge for keeping drinks cool.

Room was a bit stuffy and warm at times and air conditioning wasn't fully effective at cooling down the whole room. This made it slightly uncomfortable at night. However, this may not be a problem for everyone as I don't like the heat.

It was super easy to reach the hotel from the airport! ~35 minutes by 100e bus + a few minutes walk, and you are near the reception. Our room was in a building across the street, but we reached our room in about 5 minutes max. The hotel is close to public transportation, 2 stops by metro to Budapest-Keleti. We were able to leave the luggage here after check-out, which was really convenient. The neighbourhood is very beautiful. You also can easily walk to the city center, Parliament, Buda Castle, etc.

Excellent location. I had a very early flight and the airport shuttle bus stop was about 6 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was very clean and I had a complimentary wine and mineral water which were a nice surprise. I liked the fact that the room had wifi and also air conditioning which is very important in Budapest during the summer heatwave.

Unfortunately, the window of my room looked at a courtyard but all in all, I still liked this room as I didn't spend much time in the hotel. I only had a couple of hours to sleep before I had to wake up in the middle of the night to catch the airport shuttle for my early flight.

Although the reception is open from 8 a.m. till 10 p.m. it’s also possible to move into the room at night, the staff sent us all the necessary information. It was a little challenging especially considering the fact that the reception desk with our keys on it was in one building and the room was in another, but the instructions were perfectly accurate so the whole process even entertained me as if I was on some kind of quest :) so no complaints actually. The house is quite old and has a special vibe. The ceiling is high, there are nice inner courtyards in the house (as far as I know, they are called lightwells in English) and we had a beautiful view on Károly körút (boulevard). The location is perfect, next to the Astoria metro station. It’s nice of the hotel keepers to give a bottle of wine as a gift.

Unfortunately the sewer in the shower in the room 16 was clogged and water was draining slowly. We told the staff about it but apparently the problem was more complex to fix it while we stayed there.

Excellent location of the hotel. Nearby is a metro station and a tram and bus stop. Excellent Wifi. The room has a refrigerator, kettle, tea, coffee.

The drain in the shower worked poorly, the water drained very slowly. Also, the adjustable holder of the shower was broken. There was only a static one, which was very low. There was also no hot water from the sink tap.

The place is sparking clean. The room is huge with friendly staff. The staff can speak fluent English. The location is perfect and right in the heart of Budapest. I can walk around the major tourist attractions by 20 mins walking. It is just 5 minutes to the Astronia Metro station

As I booked as a solo traveler and the bed is king size, which is great.. I would expect two sets of pillows and towels, shampoo even I book for as a single traveler. Housekeeping needs a little bit of details as they don't empty the rubbish bin and clean the toilet. I have to ask the reception to get a clean towel and extra shampoo. A little bottle shampoo and conditioners for 3 nights stay were not enough. Otherwise, everything is perfect. Definitely would stay there again.
