It's a big nice room. Though it's near the main road but except for the sirens you don't hear anything from outside. Self check in/out was not a problem for us. The location was superb. Lots of food joints nearby. Almost all attractions on this side were walkable. The metro is a few meters on the left and the airport express bus stand was a few meters to the right. The weather was so nice.

Nothing at all related to the hotel room. Stay was nice. For new tourists - "Please you must be doing metro ticket validation on the yellow stands before/near the escalators after purchasing the physical tickets. Do not miss the physical ticket validation, it has to be done. You will find not a single person near the validation pillars to guide/inform you to do it but will see 5-6 inspectors at the exits. This is a deliberate thing that the public transport authority does there to innocent tourists. We paid a hefty fine as we didn't see the pillars because of luggage. Please don't make this mistake. Do the validation on the Yellow pillars."

Eyal, the host, was readily available via messages and phone calls to provide directions and answer questions! Don't be discouraged when entering the building, as it's old. However, the rooms inside are fully renovated and just like in the photos. The bathroom is renovated and modern, just as shown in the pictures. The accommodation is located on a central avenue, right in the city center, next to buses and the metro. The main attractions of the center are very close, starting from 650m for the main shopping area, 1.3 km for the 🌉Chain Bridge, up to 2 km for the 🏰parliament. Given the price at which we found this particular room and considering that it's renovated, the stay is worth it. The host informed us that there is the possibility (if we arrive before check-in on the first day and if we needed to leave our belongings after checkout on the last day) to securely store them in a designated space provided (free of charge). On our last day, we left our belongings in the designated area within the Karoly Boutique, went for a stroll around Budapest, and returned to collect them. The service provided by the host was 10/10!🌟

The building was old (but don't let that discourage you, as the rooms are renovated and modern). Buildings in the center of Budapest are old anyway, from the outside. The room (where we stayed) had a view of an internal corridor overlooking the inner courtyard of the complex. It didn't bother us (given the price), as we were out of the room all day.

Suberb location, very close to everything and you could walk everywhere to the main attractions. Nicely decorated room and clean. We loved the balcony, the traffic noise didnt bother us at all (but you might wanna consider that when you book). We even saw the Memorial Day parade from the balcony when it passed. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It was a little hard to find (like said in the other reviews). Maybe there could be a little better instructions to locate the place. We also had a lot of trouble opening the building gate at night, fortunately there were always people coming out of the building and opening the gate.

The communication from the host was the best I have ever experienced. He was extremely helpful and clear when providing instructions. He also provided activities, restaurants and sightseeing recommendations which was much appreciated. The room itself was wonderful, clean and smelt lovely! I slept really well and the bathroom was beautiful. I enjoyed the walk in shower and the water was hot. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time I visit Budapest. The staff are so friendly and helpful. If you stay here then you will not regret it.

We transferred to this hotel after one nights bad experience in another place. It was like night and day going to this place, I booked it at the very last minute and my response from the host was almost instantaneous, he was very polite and very knowledgeable. The property is self check-in but I was provided with complete detailed instructions via WhatsApp, this even included videos showing the process. Also a lot of very good recommendations for the area. I travel a lot for work and I've stayed in some pretty up market hotels but they all have at least one thing bad about them, that's why I was hugely surprised when I seen this place as there was none of the usual complaints that you have with most hotels. The room was very very clean and smelt very fresh, the bathroom was also very clean and the shower was amazing, very good pressure and temperature control. The room had very good working heating for the winter and also really exceptional air conditioning if you get too warm, these are things that usually cause problems. Our room also had a balcony with a window that could open right up. The bed was extremely comfortable however one thing I do suggest, I know its customary in a lot of European countries, but if you have double bed you should really have one double duvet instead of the two single ones provided, we found it causes disagreements in the middle of the night, that's the only thing we could find and it wasn't exactly a problem. The place is very well situated right in the centre almost and within walking distance of everything. When we checked out, full luggage storage was available until we left later on for our flight. Although you don't actually meet the host in person you feel that he is there when needed, any message I sent to him he replied within ten minutes. This his a fantastic place to stay and I couldn't recommend it more.

Absolutely no complaints

The location was excellent, near the Tourist Information office and the Metro. Walking distance to the Danube river which is beautiful. Eyal our was excellent and very responsive with any queries or problems. Would highly recommend staying here for a good base to explore the city. Rooms were very clean and functional and had everything we needed.

The instructions how to get in the building and where the room key is held could be explained better. Maybe a step to step guide or bullets points in order.

Location was perfect to walk to all main attractions. Proximity to transportation was great. The staff member that looked after us did a great job at making us comfortable and assisting with any request. It was a great touch recieving daily check ins from the owner via text on WhatsApp. That is a little different from normal but it was actually a great touch.

The pillows aren't very comfortable. That is about all I could think of, although I think that's actually quite an important thing to get right as an uncomfortable night sleep can really affect the quality of your day.

We stayed in the family room with a balcony. The apartment had great deco, felt like a home not a room the balcony was a bonus. I loved the fact it had a sofa to chill out on instead of having to sit on your bed. Great location. The host was very helpful and friendly and gave us lots of information and recommendations for restaurants, attractions and nightlife to make our stay more enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back to Budapest and I would definitely stay back in this apartment. Everything you needed, trams. Buses, and underground all close by. A great choice of restaurants and bars in a 5 min walking distance. Would definitely recommend

I liked everything!

Everything was just flawless. The check in instructions were sent ahead of time so I had time before the actual trip to check them out which meant when we got there I already knew exactly what to do. I chose the apartment without the balcony because we were out and about the city the whole day so when we were in our room we wanted peace and quiet - and got exactly that. The room was extra clean, the bed and bedding clean and very comfy. Exactly like the pictures and even better - it was very warm and cozy in real life along the modern feel. The owner was very helpful during our stay with reccomendations for food and sightseeing. The location is also excellent + the metro and tram stations are right there. Would reccomend the people arriving by car to park in the Europeum garage, 48hours was 8800huf, in the garage you have discounted price for multiday parking which isnt mentioned on the website and its 10min walk from the apartment.

The room was absolutely gorgeous! Great location and very central! Eyal was amazing, he stayed in contact with me the few days before my stay, during my stay and was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any queries I had! I would highly recommend staying here! I couldn’t fault a thing!

The entrance to get up to the suites looks a bit intimidating/ dark but it was very safe and easy to access so it was 100% worth it.
