We had a lovely stay at Hotel Mika Downtown. The staff were friendly and very helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Our room was small but very comfortable and clean, just what we needed for a city break. The highlight of our stay was definitely the breakfast — it exceeded our expectations! The Hungarian sausages were absolutely delicious, and there was a great variety of options including pancakes, salads, cold cuts, and more. It really set us up for the day. The hotel is also in a great location, making it easy to explore Budapest on foot. We’d happily stay here again!

Perfectly located hotel on a quiet street near Király Street, which is lined with restaurants and bars. The garage is just a three-minute walk away. Our room comfortably accommodated the three of us and featured exceptionally comfortable beds. Refreshments, including coffee, tea, and a selection of juices, were available in the room. Enjoying a delicious breakfast in the courtyard was a particularly pleasant experience. The staff were polite and helpful. Evening music is also offered at the hotel, although we did not attend.

Location is just great, we left our car in the near garage (extra fee), public transport all around, walkable as well. Plenty restaurants and bars less than 1min from hotel. Room was fine, seemed a bit smaller than when booked, but still reasonable, was clean, coffee and tea in tho room. Breakfast was delicious, many to choose from and served until 10:30am (you can sleep in). Reception open 24/7. What I loved the most was unique environment, design.

There is a construction area just across the street, was noisy very early in the morning (but not as much as I have expected they would be).

The location is excellent, it is a stone throw away from a lively bar and restaurant street. The good thing is that it is close enough to get a drink or a dinner but far enough so you don't hear the noise or the music at the hotel. The facilities are clean, well maintained and comfortable. There is a small inner yard. The breakfast was generous and diverse. The staff is incredible, very helpful and attentive. Especially Mohammad who was always ready to assist, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

There is a construction site next to the hotel, which is not the hotel's fault. It was quite during weekend, but, yeah, on a regular week day it can get loud. Also, the sign says Mika Museum not Mika Hotel which is a little confusing, but it is a minor thing.

Our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. The location is absolutely perfect – everything is within easy walking distance or quickly accessible by public transport. The room was exceptionally clean, tidy, and cozy – it’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here. Breakfast was outstanding, with a wide selection of fresh, high-quality options and attention to every detail. What impressed us the most was the impeccable service – the staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help. From check-in to check-out, everything was handled flawlessly. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The place is located centrally. It’s easy to use public transport from there to see the sights. Lots of restaurants and bars in area. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We’re on bikes and were able to store our bikes securely in courtyard. There are elevators. The rooms are spacious. The reason I marked them down is our shower hose leaked badly. I’m sure housekeeping would have noticed when cleaning. Shower head pitiful. We chose to stay another day and had to change rooms. Bathroom sink was plugged. Apparently there was no plumber on duty to fix it. Nice guy at front desk did come and tell us personally, which i appreciated. Breakfast is a great spread of yoghurt, fruit cocktail, muesli and other cereals, tomato feta salad. French toast and other sweets, decent coffee cold cuts and cheeses, hard boiled eggs,scrambled eggs, sausages. I would stay here again and do recommend Mika hotel.

The property’s location, staff and breakfast were all excellent!!! It was right in the downtown in the Pest side and everything was in walkable distance. Lots of restaurants cafes and bars nearby, including Mitico which is the bar inside the hotel that serves the breakfast. The staff were kind and friendly making sure everything is good and we are having a nice stay. The breakfast was varied, mostly with the basics of a hotel breakfast but some extra goodies were also there. The room was warm when the heater was on so in the winter thats a plus.

The room could be arranged a little better. There wasn’t anything to hang our towels on to so we had to hang them on the chairs of the room. Also having a lot of suitcases will not help. We had 1 20kg one that luckily it fit exactly into the closet but the other two and shoes were taking up space on the floor. The hot water in the shower is limited to some liters. We had to take baths kinda fast and we would turn off the water when soaping 🧼 to save it. Keep this in mind when booking for more than 2 people. The water will be warm again in some hours.

We got an upgrade when we booked and we got a two bedroom apartment. It was very spacious, and it came with towels and soap and shower gel. I was a little disappointed there was no body lotion, but after all, it is not a hotel, and shops are a couple of minutes' walking distance. The beds were very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are in the heart of Gozsdu Court, so it was not completely quiet at night. It was, however, not very loud. You only notice it when it's quiet in the apartment. Only a little. You could literally walk out of the apartment building and were surrounded by restaurants, karaoke bars, arcades, and shops. Some of Budapest's sights can be reached within 10-20 minutes on foot from the apartments. The shower water was not as warm as desired, but it was okay. WiFi was only strong in the lounge. I highly recommend the apartments and would come here again!

From the moment we entered tge hotel, great atmosphere, friendly staff, perfect location for the city, river, bridges, castle.Reception staff provided maps and directions tions, showed an interest in what we wanted to do. Given a very nice room, 108, located at rear of hotel. Free drink at the bar in evening. Breakfast sat outside on the courtyard in the early sun was excellent. Will definitely use again.

The room was very comfortable, on 1st floor was 1 sofa and kitchen also toilet, TV. And on 2nd floor was room with big bed and toilet with shower. In shower was shampoo, soap, clean towels. Rooms was clean and very worm, even with temperature - 2 in the street, inside fan was working very good. Also was hot water in shower. In kitchen we was find microwave, electro teapot, washing machine, also coffe mashine, and here was sugar, coffe tea, honey for free. Very good breakfast was including in price from 7. 00 till 11.00, you can find all here, salads, different kind of cheese, sosseges, omelets, sweets, cakes desserts, very testy and fresh all. Also we resive cards for free drinks in everning in bar it was lemonade or beer.,for choice. All personal is very helpful and polite. This hotel is in the center of city, you can find all shops and restorants near. I was with son of 8 year, he was very happy, from great breakfasts and very worm and comfortable room., We like all here, next time come back againe.
