Large room (double deluxe), super comfy beds, & beautiful wooden floors. The staff try to remedy issues quickly. I was able to leave luggage between visits.

No elevators. Very difficult stairs (although they look lovely) to drag luggage up (I was on 4th floor). Laundry is app based and one of the dryers didn’t dry (needed a new filter) & I got charged double (almost $42 USD for one load! It was $20.73 to wash & dry total). I was able to get a refund very easily (through AppWallet). The staff offered me a 20% on breakfast the next day but I didn’t have time as I was catching a bus to Husavik. Staff very helpful re storing luggage & helping me with walking directions to correct bus stop.

On the "main street" in town, a big old building with a really good bar and restaurant on the ground floor; I wasn't expecting five craft beers and, with the afternoon happy hour, they were relatively cheap! I was in a room on the 4th (top) floor, lots of stairs but fine by me. Room was clean, big and comfortable, very modern and clean toilets next door, heating was great too in the snow... everything was very good.

The one thing must be having to go all the way to the basement for the showers... but as I was right at the top of the building it was a long way for me! Showers were clean, new and roomy with plenty of hot water, keycard access with the room key.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room, even though almost laughably empty, was clean and beds incredibly comfortable - especially after we were supplied with extra pillows. Restaurant serves tasty food in a lively atmosphere.

The bar area was loud until after midnight which is to be expected on a Friday. Sharing bathrooms with groups of puking teenagers wasn't ideal but easily doable for a night.

Staff particularly Andras at the reception who went beyond his calls of duties to have made my stay very pleasant Thanks Andras (sorry if I misspelled your name)

Great rooms and the bar /cafe is lovely. This is right on the main high street. Particularly, the staff were great, really friendly. We were travelling with bike and we could lock them outside during the day and bring them in at night. But the town felt super safe so im sure they would have been fine!

A little noisy at night. There's not kitchen facilities, even just a kettle in the room would have been good.

perfect location, nice bar/restaurant Employee told us about free parking in the community center nearby, 2-3 blocks away. as we didn’t mind the walk, just saved us about $60 for two days stay. Nice little balcony at the end of the hallway, just outside our door. Continental breakfast was convenient for 1900 Kr. We had a delicious dinner Location was great for visits to Godafoss, Husavik, Asbyrgi, Hverir, Dettifoss and Selfoss, Hverfell and Myvatn during our 2 day stay. (And during nice weather, bypass the tunnel, save the $33 round trip fee and enjoy a beautiful 12 minute scenic route.)

All showers in basement. We were on the 4 th floor, so that was a drag; and you had to walk right past the bar area to get to showers,but at least our floor had toilets /sinks on our floor (I assume same for other floors) Since this was really set uplike a hostel, it would have been nice to have had access to a fridge/self serve coffee/tea.

great location. rooms are clean and showed and bathrooms are plentiful and clean. the staff went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable.

no kitchen available to guests. there’s a full restaurant bar which was awesome. But if you want to cook your own food or refrigerate your own stuff there’s only a microwave available from what we saw. which we used and it worked ell.

- in winter not a lot of people (get 2 nights on 3 alone in the dormitory) - people here and staff are lovely (special thanks to the staff for my last day and their help !!) - good quality of bed/linen and space - Nice location - very good price - clean - staff give you advices for your trip and listen to you

- no breakfast in winter (I totally understand because low tourism, but I didn't know that it is only in summer) - saturday night is very loud, lot of noise and disturbances if you have a room with windows on the street. People are outside of the bar until a easily and you heard it very well.

Very well located in the city center, nice and friendly staff. For the ones who like drinking, the hostel has a bar.

We stayed in the 4th floor, the last of the building, and the showers were in the basement. Not so easy to go all the way down with your stuff because if you forgot something you had to go all the way up again. For one night was ok but if we stayed longer that would be annoying.

We loved this accommodation for location, it was nice room above amazing pub with really good beer and friendly staff. We loved the whole vibe of the accommodation and pub together and would recommend to any young travelers (or young in spirit)

The showers were downstairs so you had to walk through the pub, but that wasn’t that bad, it was just weird. Also if you like to go sleep early, you will have to deal with little music from downstairs.
