Very well-decorated and appointed hotel! Friendly and accommodating staff as well with an excellent spa and restaurant attached (each could warrant their own separate high-scoring review). Also nice that whilst close to the airport it is in the town of Keflavík itself and thus better situated for local exploitation by foot if you are so inclined. Highly recommended!

TV and phone were disabled in the room. We put in a service request but didn’t pursue it further as we were only there for a night.

It was a good place to stay on our extended layover and was within easy walking distance of several shops and restaurants.

We arrived very early in the morning because of our flight and even though we knew our rooms were not going to be ready they said they would what they could do about getting them ready for early check in (and I had notified them ahead of time that we would be there early). We had to wait until exactly check-in turn for our rooms. We tried to fill our time with walks and shopping but many of the shops were either not open yet or out of business. And the. An hour before check-in time a large tour group came in and their rooms were magically ready, and that was frustrating. So we went and got dinner and came back and checked in and went to bed because we had a very early flight the next day.

Disappointed spare was €90 for 2 people when it had been indicated via email that it was included in room rate and the spa being the reason I had booked this property Rooms were extremely warm, unable to turn air con below 24 degrees so very uncomfortable to sleep Not sure if it was the thickness of walls but very noisy through night , with guests coming and going, again leading to a very poor quality sleep

Tidy, clean, and spacious room, with comfortable bed. Amenities within the room, such as coffee machine and kettle were very useful. Bathroom was very spacious with good range of hygiene products. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was good and diverse. Dinner served at the hotel and quality of the food was very good with a diversified menu diversified, having some more affordable choices and fine dining meals. Suficient parking spots nearside the hotel all reserved for hotel guests. Fairly close to the return car spots at the Reykjavik airport and close to the airport overall.

The Hotel has comfortable beds and is very close to the airport, thats the main reason this hotel gets booked. Its always a last good stop to shower when you have to be at the airport early.

The Hotel used to have a very early and very nice breakfast, this was very nice if you have to leave early 0400-0600 in the morning. Sadly this time the breakfast was starting at 0500 so we couldnt eat breakfast, we had to leave at 0430.

We received a free upgrade to a diamond suite, and our night shift manager was very kind. Check in and out was fast and efficient. Breakfast was a real bonanza. The room itself was luxurious and high tech, with all sorts of light controls and different settings for the shower and bath.

The outdoor jacuzzi wasn't working, so we had to figure out how to make it work ourselves - eventually we figured out how to fill it up, but the button panel wasn't working at all. The hotel should consider hiring housekeeping staff for the holiday period as well. We got the jacuzzi through a free upgrade though, so we couldn't complain. Don't be fooled by the name of the hotel. It's a 10-minute taxi ride (~30 Euro) from Keflavik Airport.

10 minute drive from the airport - Helpful since most of the vehicle rental shuttle services offer pickup in the area. The breakfast was a definite highlight and started quite early in the day. The vicinity is also a good spot to walk around, especially as a new visitor to Iceland. Bonus points from us also due to the fact that they voluntarily upgraded us to the Diamond Suites at no extra charge.

Almost nothing, other than that the bathroom was quite small and shower water spilled a bit.

Hotel is ok, not too far from te airport (10mn by car), but far fromeverything else. We had a suite so size was ok. B&O TV was superb. Restaurant was nice too, except we had to wait a long time for having already cold plates.

Beware of the very small rooms of the 1st floor, facing a parking and in the noise of compressors from the kitchens. Furnitures in the suite prevents you from moving as there are tables and chairs of a strange taste everywhere. Too much is too much. A sofa + 2 armchairs for 2 persons ? 4 little tables ? what for ? And the decoration of the hall...

We stayed at the Sarphati room, it was a bit small for a 5 star sweet, but we thought we would be in a normal suite so it was a pleasant surprise. It had everything we needed.

We couldn’t close the door to the balcony. We had jacuzzi in our shared balcony ant it was very dirty. The bathroom also had a hydromassage tube which was not working at the time.

Close to airport and blue lagoon. Close to Viking World and Grindavik. Comfy beds, and nice breakfast. Decor very opulent around hotel. Plenty of parking.

Advertised with a mini bar in room and just an empty fridge. No bottles of water supplied in room. Spa not included in price of stay which not made clear on booking.com overview.
