Location very good

Shuttle is only hotel -> airport which is not visible on pre-booking stage (it says free shuttle when in reality you need to take a taxi for 30€)

This was a very professional hotel, perfect for a business meeting. It is close to the airport and all the facilities you need for a short stay are available. The staff was very friendly and very professional as well and the room was clean. The hotel was perfect for a short stay close to the airport.

the location isnt exactly suited for a longer vacation. It was nice for a night though. Also, the bathroom was just a glas cubicle that offered no privacy whatsoever, even though the glass was opaque. You could still hear (and smell) everything. One last thing that irked me: They left the TV on for our arrival and it was blasting ads when we came in. It was supposed to be a welcome I guess, but the TV was way too loud and really bothered me. I could hear the TV from the room next to ours blasting the same ads for hours on end. I would really have preferred a quiet welcome.

Also travel personal items for sale like deodorant and mouthwash should be available- ours was taken at airport for beingbtoo big . So although the facility was great as was the staff amazing- the hotel wasn't taking into account that it's a hotel designated to service the airport passengers.

Super comfortable, excellent location. Free shuttle to airport for Bonvoy members. Restaurant in the hotel was very good for dinner and the breakfast was delicious

Stayed here on our last night before eturn flight during the post-X'mas period. Relatively expensive, but great for car rental pick-ups/returns and catching early flights (5-10min drive to the airport via taxi or hotel shuttle). Friendly reception manager who reconfirmed our spots on the airport shuttle next AM (complimentary drop-off service for Mariott Bonvoy members on a first-come, first-served basis). Well-stocked convenience corner (they had halal Free hot chocolate/water point at the lobby - lovely after being out all day in the Icelandic winter. Comfy and spotless room. We didn't have time for breakfast, but dinner at the hotel's Japanese restaurant was a surprising highlight - freshly prepared, delicious Japanese-Asian fare made it one of the best meals of our road trip. Would stay here again for the free shuttle service and on-site meals.

Our room request (quiet, nature-facing, high floor room) was not met - we had an underwhelming view of the hotel carpark and gas station for our last night in Iceland.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle was a bonus. The facilities were what we expected. We did not have time for breakfast due to an early morning flight. The room was spacious and warm but we could have had a better view out of the window, which is really important to me.

The view out of the window wasn't the best as I like to be able to see something other than cars and buildings. There was only one chair in the room for 2 people.There was a bottle opener and an ice bucket but no glasses for a drink.

The hotel was new and modern, very clean, great ambience. Our room was very comfortable and roomy. The bar and restaurant were good. Very convenient to the airport. Free shuttle to your terminal.

We could not get on the wifi. The receptionist enrolled us in the Marriott club so we could access the wifi for free. When we tried to connect to the Marriott Wi-Fi the sign in page would not recognize our room number or last name. When I tried to sign up myself in the Marriott club page so we could access the wifi I was asked for my postal code but here was no option to enter our postal code. Tried numerous times and finally gave up.

I love the Tokyo restaurant for sushi (although it's quite expensive but its very good). Didn't get to try the other restaurant yet, but maybe next time

I dont like that the airport shuttle is only for members... and it's only one way (from the hotel to the airport)... you'll have to find your way to get to the hotel (might as well rent a car) I asked for a late check out, and one lady said that she would get back to me about it but never did. But it's okay - I rented a car to explore around until it's time to go to the airport

The room was great and very spacious. The room was clean and fresh. It is very close to the airport so that is a huge plus. However, they do not offer a shuttle to the airport (I imagined it would have due to the close distance). I had to ask reception to call for our taxi to get to the airport, which was like a 5 min drive. I would stay here again, it was worth the money for the value.

The only thing I'd mention is that the guy at front desk was a bit sarcastic and he seemed to think he was a funny man. Something we didn't appreciate. He didn't seem to believe me when I said the booking was under my name and sarcastically asked my husband for his name to check the reservation, as he couldn't find my room confirmation. This happened because days before, I had let them know we would be doing a late check-in, and he had forgotten that he had already checked us in earlier the same day and our confirmation was on a different pile of papers. He was never rude, just the sarcasm and "funny guy type of attitude" did not fly with us.

This was my 9th stay here. From the warm welcome to the sparking clean room, everything was perfect as usual. After so many stays I think the only thing that would need to be fixed is the shower flooding the bathroom floor but some rooms are better for that than others. I also would like to thank the employee who was there on our last night (10th of September), we had a very early flight and went to bed early but we had an issue with a family that decided to use the landing and corridors as an extension of their room, talking and laughing loudly, kids running up and down the corridors. Absolute nightmare. Asked them to keep it quiet because I was trying to sleep and they told me they don't care. How delightful. I called reception straight away and the family went back to their room (or to the lounge, as they should) 5 minutes later. So big thank you, we managed to get a good few hours of sleep after that. We will be back again.
