Accessible to the airport-10m max taxi for £20 plus there is free shuttle to the airport by the hotel. There is a very good restaurant attached to the hotel which I see several times. Very good and plentiful meals. Also, there is Museum Duus next door which is well worth visiting. Loved it. Plus walkable access to the town of Keflavik.

There was nothing I disliked. I loved it.

Breakfast was not available. The position of the hotel was good as we had to drive to the airport in the morning. The price was fair! Apart from the short noise of the door downstairs when people closed it the hotel was very quiet. And the position of the hotel so close to the Atlantik provided an excellent opportunity to enjoy a very nice walk along the perfectly lit path along the ocean. Other restaurants are very close to this hotel.

The water basin in the room was very small. The door downstairs when people closed it caused a short but intensive sound which was unpleasant (provided it was the door which caused the „shock wave“

The hotel is wonderfully located in the small town of Keflavik, near the Duus Museum and right by the seaside. You can go and enjoy the promenade, and if you go in the opposite direction, you can take a little hike to the lava cliffs of Steinhellur. The hotel itself is small but cute and comfy, and it has all the basic facilities you would expect from a hotel of its size.

The hotel might be a bit older than expected, but it's good value for the price. Additionally, Keflavik is very small, so you might get bored if you're there for more than a couple of days. But there are regular buses to Reykjavik from Keflavik, so that's good.

We weren’t expecting much as it was our cheapest accomodation spend whilst exploring Iceland. We needed a base before early flight. It was perfect. We had family room which was spacious. Shower was good and far better than one we’d previous nights more expensive accommodation.

Close to airport and on harbour front. Spacious room that was quiet. Lift very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. This Hotel is like a guest house with about 15 rooms. We have rebooked!

Taxi was $25-60 AUD to/from airport. In the morning you can hear some noise like you would if stayed at a friends house. We were nearly put off my others that had made negative reviews but don’t be- this is a great choice close to the airport for for a longer stay.

Breakfast was fairly typical for hotels in Scandinavia. There was fruit, yogurt, muesli and other cereal, and a good selection of pastries. I liked the freshly-baked bread with some ham and cheese. And the evening meals at the restaurant were exceptional, with many seasonal, fresh selections, beautifully presented.

Although they say breakfast is available from 4AM to 10AM, it had been cleared away by 7 the day we arrived, and by 8:30 the next day. Most of their guests are only staying one night and catching early flights, so if you plan to stay longer, be sure to let them know the evening before. They did quickly replace everything once they became aware of the issue.

I really don't like not having any staff on premise. Not that we needed one, but what if we did? We are unable to call with our phones unless it's thru messenger or WhatsApp. We did anticipate 3 real beds instead of a fold out. It was fairly comfortable but really squeaked whenever a person moved.

We spent most of our time in Reykjavik, but decided to stay in Keflavik overnight to be close to the airport for our 6a flight instead of having to figure out a bus or taxi ride from Reykjavik. Hotel Duus is about a 10min ride to the airport via taxi at 4a, so worked out perfectly. Restaurant within the hotel was a nice bonus! Was a little pricey, but it was delicious.

Nice quiet area but easy walk to shopping zone. Could relax here before we headed home. Early breakfast from 4am - we had a 7.30am flight.

I was under the impression that this hotel offered airport transfers. We were informed that stopped in January this year (2024). So we ended up forking out another $40 each way for a taxi from and to the airport. Just take that in to account when comparing hotels. The hotel was very good though.

The breakfast was very good with a really good selection of items. The location was really nice by the water. It was nice to have a balcony to see the ocean from the room. The food at the restaurant was excellent and good value for money. I would recommend this hotel as a place to stay. It is very close to the airport.

It might be helpful to have a more obvious sign to show that there is a hotel not just a restaurant and museum at the location. It could be useful to have a place for toiletries given the location of the sink.
