We had a long stay at the ITC Gardenia Hotel in Bengaluru and there were many things that were impressive, especially the extremely helpful and courteous staff, the clean and spacious room, the garden-like setting, the delicious food and great service at the restaurants, and the surprisingly outstanding value for a 5-star hotel. Highly recommended!

Every hotel and building has normal wear and tear, and parts of the hotel do need a bit of a refreshing, but nothing major. Overall, the room and the building are kept in good shape, even during the busy periods.

Nice large room with comfy beds. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff in all areas of the hotel.

This place is like my second home, I wouldn’t stay at any other place in Bangalore. Location is great and property is beautiful. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. The best part is their team who go the extra mile every single time I am there. The F and B crew is so dedicated to make sure one is thoroughly enjoying the meal, the chef customised the meals for us to make our experience even more special. Every aspect of the experience of the stay here is special. I met the GM during my stay here this time, who is a remarkable and exceptional lady. It all trickles down from excellent leadership.

The breakfast meets my expectations of continental cuisine very well. Additionally, when I told the hotel staff that I had dietary restrictions and should avoid Indian food, a person called me and asked me for more details in order to understand my problems and to offer me a personalized menu. Rooms are comfortable well equipped. I love the cosmetics products they offer, and towels and bath robe are so soft. For dinner, I usually ask for in-room dining so apart from the quality of the food which I enjoy, I can't rate the restaurant as I don't go there.

In some rooms I could see scratches on the furniture that need to be touched up.

Hospitality: Staff were very amicable and explained the facilities and the options available in the property to the finest levels. they were also very attentive and listened to the details and requirement meticulously, and attended to the same diligently. Ms.Tridhara and Ms.Nikitha were exceptional. Spa Facilities: Excellent spa facilities and the in house doctor guided through the steam bath, sauna, cold shower and jacuzzi in a professional and careful manner.

There is nothing that we did not like in this property, ITC lives by its reputation

Really loved the ambience! The service from the staff - they remembered the orders we made on the previous day and reminded us if we would like the same or improvise from there. Heart-touching service with a smile! I have always been a regular visitor of the Taj group and tried ITC the first time & I'm positive there will be many more times from now! Though sometimes you feel the pinch of "expensiveness" as a whole, i really felt justified with the service! (Names that have stood out for me - Soumen, Cassandra, Preeth, Amos Anand & Mr. Santosh at the breakfast lounge). Honestly, we hoped to stay on for 2-3 more days...

And this... I'm really being very, very, very picky! We were on the 22nd floor, and the french windows could use some window washers/ washing for a crystal clear view! & at some times, some only, lets say, 1 out of 7 times... if i ordered from the housekeeping, it was very just a tad bit slow( i.e., 44 seconds, if i kept a bar of 3 to 5 minutes)

Amazing decor in the hotel, wonderful atmosphere, the staff even decorated the room for us, we just added a note while booking that we'd appreciate some decorations for a romantic stay. They even left a nice greeting card. Great selection for breakfast, both Indian and continental, I loved the dosas. There are several nice restaurants in the hotel itself. All the staff is very nice and helpful. The room service even surprised us with a towel decoration on the bed during the stay. The executive lounge was a very nice place to chill with a drink and some snacks. There were international power outlets, no need for any adapter, I have never seen that in Europe.

1. The dinner we had on the evening of arrival- the rotis at cubbon pavilion were very hard. For the pricing they should up the quality. My father had a tough time breaking them. Wonder if this was reheated 2. A bug found on the bed- quickly addressed and rooms changed 3. Mini bar costs seem weird for some local assortment of food items. Why not just include them or give them complimentary- they aren’t expensive! Considering the costs of everything else in the hotel and the booking cost of the room. First provision should be ideally complimentary.

The facilities are great. The rooms are luxury and comfortable, typical of an ITC collection hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful

The quality and variety of the food in the various restaurants is very good but the service is a bit disappointing taking into account my high expectations. E.g. For lunch I had to wait 30 mins for a brownie which order was missed at some step. Also a beer was served at room temperature. After complaining itt was replaced by a cold one At breakfast after 15 mins no waiter took the order for coffees. After chasing I had to wait another 10 minutes. Then we ordered 2 omeletes at the same time but one was delivered 10 minutes later than the other. These details are not acceptable in a super hotel like this.

Service, Rooms, Location and the staff were exceptional.

I wish they had more options for food/dining. It was the same type of dishes or something very similar. Also, I wish they change the information on in Room dining availability. For example, there will be an item under "24/7" category, but when you add the dishes to the cart, it shows that it's only available between certain times. This is not 24/7 then. Also wish they have more options for in room dining as well.
