1.Very good place to stay. Connected with backpackers and new visitors. 2.It's more than a hostel, like home. They provide food also. Staffs are helpful 3.Safe place for all. 4. Smoking inside rooms is not allowed. Overall good place for stay. Cost effective Very good model hostel for others who wants to start

1. Even though rooms have fans and AC s , ventilation is very poor 2. Pets are roaming in the living area. Few like me not comfort as the fallen hairs from cat and dogs create allergies. They even sit on the sofa and beds in the living area. 3.even though I booked two months ago, I have waited for 2Hours for check in. 4. Few guests are snoring at night during sleep which disturbs others in night stay. 5.Few guests use mobile phones in the bedroom which disturb others.administrator mentioned the board but guests are not following The above points need to be corrected. It's my suggestion not my complaints. Hope to have more gandhi hostels in all major cities

1. Human and genuine welcome by the team who are always available and prepared to help - Kishore, Jenish and Nayak (chef). 2. Proximity to 'Little Mount' metro station which is the easiest mode of transport to/from the Chennai airport and Chennai city centre, Egmore both of which have numerous ground transport facilities to the other parts of India. 3. Meals are available on request and the payment is to made upon consumption. Available hours are clearly stated. 4. Valuable items can be stored in the lockers available free of charge. 5. It is a safe, homely place to stay

The below can be useful. 1. Clear signage outside (especially to those who come in the dark) 2. White/colour wash to make it look more attractive. 3. A rack with leaflets about places of attraction and transportation, 4. Possible collaboration with a suitable travel services provider to arrange day-trips. 5. Informal surveys (through discussion) to ascertain the requirements of the travelers/hostelers.

I loved the fact that the whole atmosphere in the hostel was very comfortable. I stayed at the place for 5 days. The staffs there were bery helpful and friendly. And the location is convenient. On top of all that, feeling safe toped the list as I was travelling alone. Definitely coming back here.

Umm. i would say it would have been better if there was more storage space in the room. And also, lights on the bunk bed. So that you don't have to bother anyone else of you wanna read or something.

Good Hostel. Close to the metro from the train station. Could be better signed from the main road or even the road its on. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were a bit firm but not a deal breaker. Staff are a bit anal about the aircon times. Only from 7pm to 7am. I think they should make it till 8 to 8. Kitchen was very clean. Cooked some eggs up before a bit day of travel. Nice chai too. I did my own laundry. Plenty of space to hang up clothes on the roof. The animals are great too. Couple of dogs. Couple of cats. So lovely.

I think for the price, I would get better value.

Fantastic Hostel! I loved that it was so close to metro station. It was clean, bunk beds were very comfortable. I loved that there is a kitchen and a cook in hostel, and you get homeprep meal at very affordable rates. The cook bhaiya is also very nice. All in all, great vibe, also got to meet and interact with other travellers in Chennai. Cats are cute yo.

Only negative for me was no ceiling fan, just table fan. But this would only be a problem during the day. At night, you can use AC (7 PM - 7 AM).

Great place overall, friendly staff and the other guests were also friendly. It was in a good location, clean, and everything functioned well.

There was some insect or something biting me during sleep; it wasn't mosquitoes which were outside only. These left big red bumps lasting for days. I was also asked to leave at 10am which I thought checkout time was 11am, which is not very important but I would've liked to know ahead of time.

I like that it is near the metro station Little Mount , easy access to everything, eatery and places of interest. Safe even for female solo traveller.

I have no complaints as you can't expect a five star hotel accomodation for the pay of the bunk beds you paid for it. it's a hostel and so you get to share it with others.

The Hostel itself is a little bit difficult to find, but when you ask the local people around, they will help you. It’s close to a Metro Station, Little Mount. There are also a lot of shops, food stands and ATMs around. All the facilities where clean, the dorm was ok. It’s a hostel, so don’t expect a 5 star room;). The Staff is also nice and helpful, you can ask them everything and they will help you. I can definitely recommend this Hostel for a short stay in Chennai.

The vibes were very homely, the manager was co-operative and very helpful. The location is great, metro connectivity is available and you will find good shops/food stalls around.

About as good as you can get in Chennai. Close to the metro. But most of the stayers are long-dweller locals. So no traveler vibe. The staff were super helpful.

Sometimes the people in the room can be inconsiderate, I had 4 guys in the room constantly chatting loudly until 1AM and packing their stuff since I arrived at 10PM. Asked them politely twice to lower their volume but they ignored it. The staff helped me to talk to them, I don’t think they even speak English.
