The staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean - almost 5-star. The breakfast spread was good. The in-house restaurant Alexandria was great.

In one room the AC wasn't cooling and in another room the mini-fridge wasn't functional. The maintenance team immediately attempted to resolve the issues. They replaced the mini-fridge in one room, and since the AC maintenance would take multiple hours they gave me another room. Very thankful to the maintenance team for addressing the issues immediately.

Breakfast had loads of variety, and was fresh and well maintained by staff in terms of organization and keeping it stocked. The rooms are clean, wifi is terrific, a few choices in restaurants and I so enjoyed the pool and gym. I will stay here again. Its in a good location and I felt safe here. Reasonably priced for all that is available.

I did rebook a couple more days, would have appreciated an email in in confirmation so I didn't have to ask for a paper copy of my reservation. Other than that, zero complaints. Staff was helpful and considerate in fixing that issue.

The position of the hotel is central and right next to the Hard Rock Cafe which is fun. From entering the hotel with the warm welcome and assistance with suitcases to reception booking in was quick professional and the gentleman very helpful with information. All staff are very friendly and helpful, very courteous. Breakfast was great and the service a 10. Staff are delightful and remember everything you have. The rooms are big, very clean and well set out. Bathroom great. The gym is excellent. Pool area and adjoining restaurant that is separate from hotel is also excellent. A must go to. Spa services are good. The hotel complimentary sauna and steam rooms are awesome. We were very happy and will make this hotel our Chennai go to from now on.

I am pleased to inform you that the facilities at this hotel are exceptionally well maintained. I would like to express my appreciation for the fantastic hospitality I received during my stay. I must also mention that I accidentally left my phone behind during check out, but the cleaner behaved with utmost professionalism and handed it over to the management. Such actions speak volumes about the excellent service and integrity of the staff. Rest assured, I will make it a point to visit this hotel again in the future.

This hotel is connected to a bar. On weekends, you'll have to wait until midnight, 12am, to catch some shut-eye as the bass is quite powerful. However, if you ask the management for a peaceful room, they'll be happy to accommodate your request.

We visited to Chennai from Saudi Arabia as family. The hotel is located at the ideal place. All the places and relevant locations for shopping are reachable with in 20 minutes. Very ideal location to stay. The standard room is very big and spacious. It is more than expected when we compare other hotels. They got three restaurents to serve you anytime. They got a good pool and all rooms got view for it. Also, the bar is near by pool. They have big screen next to pool so that, you can watch the cricket match while you are in pool. Room service is very good and all rooms switches are touch base. Daily cleaning was done. You will find all amenties inside the room. They give you smart tv with internet connection as well. very good lightnening inside the room.

Room is big and clean, staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is excellent, location is very strategic. My husband and I liked the ambience ,especially as it close by to Hardrock Cafe. Even the in-house restaurants are excellent. We also tried the spa, which was a great experience after the long walks.

Nothing is specific as everything were good experience for us. The only thing to complaint is that it took too long for an additional order of poori during breakfast. But other than that, the buffet choices were great so we didn't mind the wait.

Would like to add that the housekeeping team is trustworthy. I had forgotten a valuable watch in one of the room drawers and they kept it for me. Had to call housekeeping a few times upon checking in for missing items like no face towels. TV also required intervention of their staff. Only some minor hick ups wrt small technical issues. But all were addressed in a very prompt manner.

Strategically located, easily accesible for transport. Near T Nagar n Pondy Bazaar and other shpg places. Front Desk guys were really help full. Room spacious and clean as well. In house Restaurant Vivaha Bhojanumbo Telegu Cuisine was really an experience as the food, ambience and taste was really good.

Breakfast variety can be improved and I do think they are slightly under staffed during peak breakfast hours. Bathroom/shower door should have latch and the frosted glass should be not so visible for the suite room coz v stayed in that room. Its kind of transparent and we were siblings n Family in d room.

We loved most things: the hotel is very new so everything is new and clean. The room is spacious and has a smart TV where you can watch Netflix and other streaming platforms. The swimming pool is quite small, but it was empty all the time, so we enjoyed it a lot. It has a shower right next to it, which is very convenient too. Sauna facilities are brand new. Breakfast was AMAZING! It had a great variety of breakfast items, both Indian and Western, my favourite being a muesli & yogurt cup that was to die for, I am still dreaming of it, it was THAT GOOD! They aso have a small bakery stall inside the hotel with delicious sweet treats and breads at very reasonable prices. All in all, we were very happy and satisfied with the hotel and I would definitely go back to Pharos if I happen to go to Chennai again.

The only thing we thought could improve was the hotel lobby. There is no room to wait in case you have to spend some time waiting for a taxi or making time to leave. It is not cosy at all, there are 2 sofas facing the hotel desk, but it is not very welcoming at all. They should have some armchairs and coffee tables, and organise it so that it is more confortable. Other than that, nothing really. We had a very enjoyable time there.

The location was excellent, and other aspects of the stay were commendable. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. All the toiletries were provided. Staff were polite and helpful, especially Room service and housekeeping.

The breakfast quality was average with limited variety, leading to monotony for multi-day stays. Bakery items were unsatisfactory, and hot dishes were not consistently kept warm.
