RADISSON is always good but this time, one of the staff Faiza made it remarkable. I was there to attend my convocation, and I needed help in draping my sari. Faiza not only did that beautifully, she went above and beyond the call of duty to personally fix my blouse’s stitching by hand in the absence of the tailor. She actually made my dress and my day! Such professionals need to be acknowledged and lauded. A big thank-you to her.

Nothing. Just a suggestion- we checked out almost a whole day earlier. Would have been nice to get a discount on similar lines of the charge we pay for extended stays. That’s all😊

We recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Chennai for 3 nights and booked two rooms for our family. The hotel is well located in a strategic and convenient area, with easy access to amenities. A special highlight is the Writer’s Café, a charming spot just a short walk away, along with several nearby restaurants that made dining out effortless. The hotel itself is quite spacious, giving a sense of comfort and grandeur. Rickshaws are readily available outside, making it easy to get around the city. What truly stood out was the outstanding service. A big thumbs up to Bala from the restaurant, Jayanta from housekeeping, and Nedun from the front office—each of them went out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of. Their professionalism and warm hospitality made our stay all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure stays in Chennai.

If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the breakfast spread, which could have been more diverse to cater to a wider range of tastes.

We stayed at Radisson Blu Chennai on 06/06/2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. From check-in to check-out, the hospitality was consistent, warm, and professional. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While the décor showed signs of age, which is understandable for an older property, everything was in excellent working order. What stood out most was the attentiveness of the staff—several team members proactively checked in on us during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed, including extra toiletries and pillows, without us needing to ask. The level of service was exceptional. Even after we checked out in the morning of 07/06/2025, the team went out of their way to store our luggage securely while we spent the afternoon shopping before our overnight train. They also graciously allowed us continued access to the hotel’s WiFi even though we were no longer staying guest - this was much appreciated and very thoughtful. The buffet breakfast at Oasis, the hotel’s in-house restaurant, was a standout highlight. The spread was remarkably varied and fresh, with attentive staff who made us feel truly welcomed. As vegans, we were especially grateful for the care shown in accommodating our dietary needs. A heartfelt thanks to Mr. A. Selvakumar, the restaurant manager, whose genuine hospitality made the experience even more memorable. The hotel is well-positioned for short auto or car rides to popular shopping centres like Express Avenue - we recommend using the Ola app to arrange transportation easily. The hotel entrance is also well-secured with a sentry at the driveway and visible staff presence at the main entry, which added to our sense of safety. Other highlights include the lounge next to the lobby that offers complimentary sweets and chilled water a lovely touch. Also, Sangeetha Restaurant is just a short walk away to offer an affordable and absolutely delicious option.

CONS: Location- quite far from the airport Restaurant - no supervision on Sundays by restaurant staff ; some tables had table numbers placed, similarly Christmas table decor was left off some tables, while others had them. Breakfast -South Indian dishes such as dosas were limited even during non-rush hour times Outdoor pool-always crowded

Lovely hotel, young staff, excellently trained. The Reception this time was Vrishith, did the fastest smooth check in and check out, smart at work. The girls Lal and Kotheeshwari cleaned my room so well, they even folded my unfolded clothes and kept well arranged. Room was impeccably clean before during and after. The complementaries in room are very good. My favourite was the restaurant breakfast, very well trained and coordinating employees. Don't remember the names Christina, Ritika, Das, Karishma and whole team. And not to forget the lobby employees outside and inside to help. Everyone has a smile with no expectations.

Some guests were rude with the staff during the breakfast, the employees should be taught not be very submissive in front of rude guests but to draw boundaries if they disrespect. This is important in Leadership. Empower the team.

First and foremost uts the staff. Everyone were so helpful. Something we didn't see throughout our trip to India. Very attentive, and we ended up buying gifts for most of them before we left. Hotel was clean, food was good ( breakfast) with long hours compared to other stays. Gym, swimming pool, and spa weren't as busy , which is a plus . My sisters said the spa was so good , infcat the best they have tried in many countries.

Couldn't find anything to complain. The swimming pool could have had someone cleaned a bit more often as it had bird feathers and debris sometimes. Our room had a strong cigarette smell ( even though the floor had a non-smoking policy), but the staff changed it immediately. I saw someone smoking near the swimming pool when we were there with babies. There could be designated smoking areas. Power issues. At times you could see lights going off and coming back after a few seconds. But as a whole, nothing to complain about. I'm nit-picking here.

To begin with I stayed 5 days and I love Radisson because most Radissons are simply splendid in Service, this one was excellent. Very good training given to all at the front desk, lobby,the third floor cleaning and operational team to the restaurant. They make sure you are supported in all ways. The Front desk was lovely Ritka, Ramzan and Peter ( thanks for the invoice email), the lobby team with all including the friend with a smart Mushtache, Never to mention the best was Tei who cleaned my room five days so dedicatedly , supported with her team Archana and other girl beginning with S, The restaurant was very good, slightly small compared to other Radissons but nothing to complain as there are more staffs running to support. The operation boys Jayanta Jacob and two more boys helped me the previous day with a personal request. The hotel is close to Egmore Station, the main Old Chennai Mount Road etc, quite a distance from airport but this is the Old city, Marina beach is closer, Govt offices all surrounding etc. The Management and Team have made the hotel very good with all young people well knowing their roles and responsibilities. Honestly the Management or Supervisor should take the credit for this smoothless operation.

Simply nothing. Yes there is a canal opposite which the govt is cleaning to make it more attractive, but inside the hotel it is splendid.

All staff paid attention to detail and consistently catered to our needs during our 7-night stay, which was positive. They dealt with any issues we had when we communicated them quickly and efficiently. Excellent breakfast quality and choice are available. The gym was a high-quality facility for cardio and resistance training. The room was a good size with a fully functional desk. The shower had good water pressure and plentiful hot water. Plentiful wardrobe space was available, and the room was relatively quiet, considering the noise outside at any given time. The bedding was comfortable and clean.

Sometimes, the helicopter service randomly rings the doorbell or phones the room to ask if everything is ok. Ultimately, I had to put an external red light on permanently. I understand the motivation behind this, but when on two separate occasions, please do not do this, it continued some frustration arose. Also, the internet had its moment with the laptop was later advised issue was system only worked with 4 devices.

The workspaces in the rooms are functional, with ample lighting and power outlets. The hotel also features meeting rooms and business centers equipped with the latest technology, making it an ideal choice for meetings and conferences. Dining Options: The on-site dining options are satisfactory, with a variety of choices that can cater to different tastes and dietary requirements. Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast or unwinding with dinner, the food quality is consistently good, though not necessarily extraordinary.

The night staff. One gentleman at reception called me every 15 minutes from 10:00pm to 11:15pm as a wake up call. I had not requested any wake up call and had an important visit the next day. The first time I informed him on the phone that there is a mistake and it isn't my room - but I don't think he understood. It had come to a point where I had to disconnect the phone in my room so I could get some sleep.

Very central and though there were some plumbing issues the executive housekeeper Prabu and the front office manager Charlie did well to upgrade us to a suite. The bathroom was nice and big and had a pool view room. The staff at the breakfast were quite good special mention to Rohit who even packed food for us when we were travelling back. Breakfast variety was pretty good.

There is no executive lounge when in other properties this is available with free food and drink and at almost same rates.
