I had an absolutely delightful stay at Taj club house Chennai. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well maintained, offering all the comforts you’d expect from a top-tier hotel. A special mention to Ms.Ahana and Ms.Sandhya at the front desk who ensured my check-in was smooth and welcoming — her warm hospitality set the tone for my stay. One of the highlights of my visit was dining at the Southern restaurant ,The dishes were authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable Overall, I highly recommend Taj club house.

I am traveling from the US(I am a senior lady, a US resident of many years) to give lectures in Chennai and Bangalore, with a very tight schedule, which barely allowed me time to rest between events, to have meals at proper times, etc. A friend recommended The Taj Clubhouse Hotel at Chennai as a quieter, laid-back, yet fully equipped hotel that would meet my needs for staying in my room for long periods of time, order in room dining, and be relieved of caring for my own laundry and other needs. The excellent wifi and business printing services, done with lightning speed, really saved my lectures, since the printouts were delivered in a timely manner. I had unfortunately developed a stomach ailment and also have regular food allergies, and was really grateful for the chef at the restaurant downstairs as well as in room dining staff for fully understanding and remembering my needs and serving me just right. The front desk was very quick and responsive at all times, laundry was prompt, and all of my needs were satisfied. I also used the car service once, and that was good. But the biggest bonus was front desk staff member Ujjval, who gave me a free upgrade the night that I arrived, so I had a super lovely deluxe room. Ujjval made sure that I would be taken care of in every possible way by the entire staff. Being slightly sick and with many needs, this made my experience a life-saving one. Ujjval also enrolled me TataNeu for discounts. All in all, Ujjval enabled a first class stay at a lovely old fashioned hotel, with every modern amenity. I highly applaud him for his initiative and helpfulness. Please reward him accordingly. Also, At first I found some things confusing, and I needed some things tailored to my needs as. a physically somwhat disabled senior, and also had some opening trouble with wifi on my apple computer, but the respective staff quickly took care of everything. The staff and service are excellent. room service was also good. thanks for a lovely stay.

I found the shower and bath situation in the deluxe room a little confusing. The bath was a luxury, but it was not friendly to seniors like me. There was no way I could take a bucket and mug bath inside the shower stall, because there was no direct tap that could fill the bucket, only a very high shower, and a handheld one that could fill the bucket. one of my biggest problems as a senior in Indian bathrooms is also the excessively slippery marble floors everywhere. I recommend using rough tile in all bathrooms, to prevent elders from falling. Also, please provide a broom and dustpan for guests to quickly attend to broken glass or other mishaps that happen at odd hours. Of course, one could call housekeeping, but sometimes that is awkward.

Dear Team Taj, I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for the wonderful experience during my recent stay. To be honest, I had previously encountered a not-so-great experience at Taj, which led us to stop visiting for a while. However, during this trip—since Leela was fully booked—we decided to stay at Taj again. And I’m so glad we did. The hospitality this time truly exceeded expectations. I had an upset stomach due to a chicken grill spaghetti dish, but the care and attention I received from the chef and the duty manager made all the difference. They ensured every meal that followed was suitable for my condition and even thoughtfully included buttermilk with each order. I genuinely felt cared for. Thanks to this experience, Taj has won me back. I look forward to being a regular guest again.

Yabesh and security staff were amazing and very accommodating. Always smiling and giving tips of where to go around in Chennai. Yabesh always goes an extra mile.

Check in check out process. Some staff were really rude and unfriendly. Not welcoming with a smile. Been asking to change an email address for the best part of 6 months to transfer from the old reward programme to the TATA neu..... still waiting. Been using this hotel for the best part of 15 years, the warmth of the place has faded.

Breakfast was delicious but it was crowded. Took time to get a get table for two. Servers seemed busy. Otherwise food seemed a bit expensive. Room was pretty good and so was the staff. Would definitely come back. Also one night I got unwell and puked in the bathroom. The front desk and housekeeping team were very sympathetic cleaned the bathroom immediately. Staff seemed to care about the guests.

We had a room on no smoking floor but there was smoke in the corridors. Jacuzzi needs repair.

Nice location, easy to get grab and close walk to the mall. Good breakfast with lots of options. In room dining also good quality. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Nice welcome gift and departure gift too, was a nice touch.

Our first room had really bad damp smell and a lot of moisture in the room, when we woke up in the morning the floors and walls were wet. For our last night we got moved room which was better. There was a lot of pigeons and droppings around the pool edge. Some mould in the bathroom shower.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff were so courteous, so helpful and really professional people. Always wanting to help you. They were so polite . A very good location for the city . We were there for the T20 cricket and only cost us 200 rupees for a Tuk Tuk to get us there so the ideal location for that aswell. Plenty of restaurants, food was good. Gorgeous rooftop pool which was fabulous. So impressive it really was . Very helpful girl called Rose who was very good to us.

Nothing all perfect

Could not find a fault, room large and everthing was spit in: bed, AC, bathroom, quiet, spacious and most courteous and thorough room boy JOYJIT. Check in smooth, food excellent served and led by professional team led by Mr Khan.

Some issues @ breakfast but sorted promptly after initial feedback. The live flute music was good but very loud which some guests did not appreciate.

1. The property is located at the best possible location. 2. Though its location and general demeanour is fit for business executives, I saw a lot of families - some for the Marghazhi music season and also marriages. 3.The front desk, General assortment of food in the main restaurant, The local classical music to coincide with the music season, special Santa act of X’mas was quite noticeable and appreciated 4. It was a nice gesture to have sent a piece of cake to celebrated arrival of the new year ( to every room)

1. General upkeep of rooms does not pass the acid test of Taj properties ( having seen nice properties in Madikeri, Kovalam, Rishikesh, Udaipur - though are leisure friendly) 2. Non-smoking floor is also used by some guests as smoking rooms. A disservice to those guest who believed Non-smoking means none could smoke 3. Staff are good and ready to help, but lack professionalism at all levels. When guests are pampered in other Taj properties, one felt the service is a matter of fact, in TCH. 4. Loud Voice gets carried to next room, and also the New year crowd to one of the restaurants went bonkers!!! ( Not really negative, as we have past our prime!)

The room was cozy, with all amenities and well maintained. The breakfast spread was mind blowing and the taste was awesome. The staff present at the buffet were always smiling and gave the guests the best experience.

Check in experience could have been better. Staff members were scrambling around to manage check outs and check ins at the same time. I had been waiting to get the key and had to approach the reception couple of times before getting the key..
