Everything was exceptional! - The Grand Hyatt Kochi was beautiful through and through, from lobby/entrance, to facilities, restaurants, outdoor walk areas and rooms. The view we had out of our 7th floor room was spectacular. - Heaps of facilities and activities just in the hotel property alone. - The cleanliness was immaculate. - All (and I mean all) the staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. We felt they all genuinely wanted to help us enjoy our time here. - I experienced a few staff who had gone out of their way and extra mile to help us sort things out (flight luggage issue). Our family enjoyed ourselves so much at Kochi and a lot of it had to do with our experience at Grand Hyatt Kochi.

The spa was a major highlight—calm, soothing, and incredibly well-managed. It provided the perfect setting to relax and rejuvenate. Special appreciation to Swathi R., Guest Relation Team Leader, and the entire team, whose thoughtful care and impeccable attention to detail left a lasting impression. With stunning views, an elegant setting, and unmatched hospitality, this is exactly how a five-star experience should be. We can't wait to return!

I have a severe peanut allergy and the chefs eg Lata/Gishnu etc also the wait staff (eg tiben/sanjay/ Eben) both at dinner and at breakfast bent over backwards at the Malabar cafe to make sure, everything thing I had was freshly prepared and peanut free. I even asked for decaf tea in my room and they must have gone out and bought some, as they couldn’t find any in the hotel . Sorry if I can’t remember everyone’s names as they were all great and provided excellent service. They even bought us a cake on our last day from the bakery The Malabar had also just won a national competition for best casual South Indian food- can’t believe how we lucked out staying here. I have stayed in other luxury hotels like Leela palace and JW Marriott. But this was amazing. Rooms nice and clean. Well maintained. Had the pool to myself ! And the spa and sauna were beautifully appointed. The Thai restaurant, was also amazing. Great staff too. The evening boat tour round Kadakumyddy islands was worth its hefty price tag £90 plus taxes for two people. The guide Vishnu was knowledgable !

Beautifully presented we had a grand suit which was large and very well appointed- extremely comfortable, overlooking the waterfront, pool and hotel gardens which were well maintained. Spa great, gym, indoor and outdoor pools lovely too. The staff were particularly good very attentive, friendly and helpful, quick to respond to any issues. We also had access to the grand lounge, nice place to spend a couple of hours, free cocktails and beers with a buffet.

The breakfast area gets quite busy and the outdoor area not really as set as it should be to invite people outside… they had some work going on out there which might have been the reason at the time..

Our stay at the Grand Hyatt was indeed a remarkable one. Though my initial booking was for the standard room, upon reaching the venue, the Duty Manager, Mr. Harikrishnan was kind enough to show us the standard room and the suite personally, and immediately, we changed our decision from std to suite upon seeing the facilities. The entire crew at the Grand Hyatt was very hospitable, and I would recommend my friends and others to visit the Grand Hyatt, Kochi, and experience the hospitality. Don't forget to have their remarkable breakfast at Malabar Cafe. Special kudos to Mr. Harikrishnan - Duty Manager.

We had an issue with one of the dishes we ordered in the in-room dining, however, upon sharing the feedback, the Chef along with the F&B came to check on us and were ready to compensate for the dish by giving us an alternative, which we politely rejected. Also, they ensured we were not charged for that.

From perfectly cooked sunny side, and fluffy pancakes to fresh fruits and pastries, continental, north indian dishes, everything was prepared with care and quality. The coffee was rich and aromatic, making for the perfect start to the day. I have really enjoyed the ever lasting experience of a smiling faces, customer care and high level of service from each individual member staff of Grand Hayatt, including Swatti, Chief Selva, Surahv from Roof tower restaurant, the Arabic Syrian chief, and all the cafe staffs in the lobby( specifically the two respected ladies. It will be difficult for me now to stay in any other hotel and expect the same level of care, service, and hospitality.

Everything was superb

It is the benchmark for all other hotels in India. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, fantastic facilities and views, beautiful gardens, convenient waterfront location, three great restaurants, a cafe and professional, happy and engaging staff. Special mention to Krishna from Thai Soul restaurant and Shahul in the foyer reception who were very professional. Evem the chefs at all the restaurants are very personable and make an effort to say hello and ask how your enjoying your meal and stay! if you are a foodie, you must visit Thai Soul and enjoy the theatre of the Chef and her staff cook for you in the open style kitchen. Obviously this hotel has a great management team and this is reflected in the staff.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They were warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. The rooms were spacious and elegantly designed, Waking up to the panoramic views of the water was truly a treat. Dining at their restaurants especially Malabar cafe was another highlight; the food was outstanding, with a variety of options Whether it's for relaxation or exploration, Grand Hyatt Kochi is the ideal destination. It’s a property that sets the gold standard for hospitality, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable stay in Kochi.

The location was excellent, on an island, away from the busyness, right by the backwaters The bed and pillows were so comfy and feather like. The view from the room was spectacular facing the waters. The bathroom was extremely spacious with a beautiful bath tub. I loved the breakfast with authentic Kerala food as well as great choice of European food. The club lounge was useful - fantastic choice of finger food ( a bit low on vegetarian options) and alcohol beverages. The check in was so quick even though I arrived at 9am. Everything was really superb.

Absolutely nothing
