Meals were very nice and a good selection. Live music on weekend was great. We were going to try the Chinese restaurant a couple of times but it was closed. Room was comfortable and roomy. A bonus selection of fruit, biscuits left in room was a nice touch.

We had trouble with a taxi and uber booked from Vivanta. The management apologised and free pick up taxi back to Vivanta was appreciated. On arrival we explained a taxi was booked through booking.com for our trip leaving for airport. There was a mixup with this information and Vivanta tried to supply us with their taxi.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Vivanta Ernakulam. The staff provided utmost service by going beyond their duties when my wife fell ill during our stay. The F & B Manager Mr. Sajneesh Nair, his Chef & the staff were extremely caring by preparing a special meal for my wife when she was unwell. They also provided us with some refreshments for us to enjoy on our journey when we checked out of the hotel on the last day. The service was impeccable and made our stay delightful despite our personal circumstances. We are beyond thankful to the team of wonderful employees who served us.

The service and welcoming atmosphere in this hotel stands out. Each and every member of the staff we met and spoke with clearly had excellent training on guest relations. So much so, the fact that we stayed in a yet to be refurbished room didnt quite matter. They upgraded us with yo relaxing sea view room Food was delicious and very hygienically prepared Old yet gracious Eldho, Karthika, Jeffin , Stess, Nivedita and everyone at the front desk - a warm thank you Looking forward to return when fully refurbished

I’ve always enjoyed the buffet breakfast at Bubbles and this time was no different. The food was good and a great variety. The location of the Vivanta is so central and easy to access. I always enjoy my stay there especially my room as I got an upgrade to the beautiful sunset view sea facing room. Unfortunately the weather was quite a dampner and I caught only a very watery sunset on one day as the other days the horizon was filled with ominous rain clouds.

I would have loved it if I could have been given a printed menu for the room service. I’m a senior citizen and not too savvy with scanning the QR code to read the menu. So I went down to the restaurant and had an enjoyable meal. At breakfast I would like it if there was some Hot Chocolate available.I enjoyed the fruit juices and the milk shakes but didn’t see any provision for a Hot Chocolate drink. It may not be very popular so not offered in a dispenser but it would have been nice to have it offered as a packet of cocoa/ chocolate that can be mixed with the hot milk provided.😊

it was a nice cozy stay. breakfast spread was good. location is very central and in marine drive which is the best part of Kochi/Ernakulam, although bit challenging to and from airport due to traffic. It has an unique stamp of Taj properties!

there was some repair working going on in the property and we were located very close to the epicenter of this activity. the drilling sound was not a very pleasant, and luckily we managed to engage in other activities outside the hotel during this mid day period

Good location next to Marine Drive. Friendly, warm & attentive staff all around. Breakfast spread was very good with a lot of local options which we loved.

There was some renovation work going on which was way too noisy. Unfortunately, when we booked through booking.com it wasn’t informed though their website states it. Internet connection was a bit on & off on one particular day, otherwise it was fine.

Location is great! Rooms are basic for the class but nice and mine had a view over the waters/port. Quite able therapist in their spa for Ayurvedic treatment Staff in restaurant very attentive and courteous

Ongoing renovation meant noisy during day.. but I was warned of this in advance.. I was given room on floor 5 which was already renovated- so it was a bit annoying to find water stain and mould on the bathroom roof ! Spa had leaking roof! Wasn’t offered a high tea in the evening as in other Taj properties!

ALL staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had a mix of Indian and International options, of high quality. Chefs and waiting staff in clean “uniform”. Location was excellent for us, near many restaurants and a quick ferry ride to Fort Cochin. Sea view room worth expenditure

The hotel is slowly being upgraded with no real impact on guests. We had two wonderful nights sleep. The change in ownership is clearly moving the hotel positively forward and I would not hesitate in rebooking. We stayed 2 nights before flight in Cochin and it really did give us a most relaxing and enjoyable closeure to our holiday.

1) The Staff was super helpful and courteous. In particular Sajneesh, Karthika and Sujith at Bubbles Cafe were extremely hospitable. 2) The view from the rooms was magnificent 3) Location was great.

1) Hard Pillows. Even when we asked them, they did not have any alternative. 2) Bell Desk services could have been better. We kept waiting for someone to take our luggage during check out, but no one materialized.

Loved that the hotel has a private area of the marine drive walk path, it is stunning to catch the sunset here. Easy access to water with seamless connection to key points in the city. Rooms were comfortable with a pretty birthday deco in the room. Breakfast spread was attractive and tasty. Vivanta staff were very helpful and happy to assist at all times. Overall we loved our stay.
