A very nice hotel. Lovely swimming pool. Very nice restaurant . The food is vegetarian and served buffet style.. The quality was good, just a shame that buffet food is never quite hot enough. Really great breakfast with plenty of choice, including yogurt and nice fresh fruit juice. We had a massage, which was very nice but we declined any 'treatments' so I can't comment on these.The hotel is on a quiet road with a few shops.

The beach is walking distance but down a very steep road. Not great in the heat. The beach itself has loungers but nowhere to eat or drink. The sea was rough so I don't know how good it is for swimming. We took a tuktuk to Lighthouse Beach every day and then came back to the hotel for a swim in the pool in the afternoon. The rooms around the pool look really nice but the only room available for us was a budget room. It was very small with quite a hard mattress. However, it was very cheap and you get what you pay for.

Away from the main street and quiet. The Ayurvedic regime is gopd value for money. The staff and Management were very helpful. Nice peaceful atmosphere surrounded by herbal garden.

The accommodation is little old and furnishings are worn out and need to be replaced.

The restaurant and pool areas are very cozy and well maintained. The food is very good. Staff very friendly. The massages (‘treatments’) are the best but very expensive.

The room we stayed in (basic - nothing else was available) felt somewhat claustrophobic and the bed was narrow. The beach is difficult to get to, steep walk. Beach itself very dirty, except for the first part. We ended up taking a tuktuk to Lighthouse Beach every day for swimming (and eventually moved there).

The highlight of the property is the pool, surrounded by lush gardens. The restaurant, as it is an Ayurvedic resort, serves delicious vegetarian food with plenty of choice daily at a very reasonable price. The on site Ayurvedic doctor prescribes all kinds of treatments if you have the time to u der take them. Many of the residents are on long term stays with ongoing treatment, but you can take ant type of massage that you like. The masseuses were excellent. This is a tranquil stay, away from the hustle in the shops outside the gates. There are lots of transport options to visit nearby resorts and beaches. The resort offers excellent value for money. The staff were kind and considerate.

In our economy room the bed was firm and the bathroom basic, not luxurious. We opted for cheaper accomodation, but the poolside rooms would be perfect if you can choose them.

property is very beautiful but not maintained properly. you can find insects everywhere cleanliness is a big problem. I didn’t find enough staff working for maintenance in two days. they were only cleaning the rooms, exterior that is very beautiful was not being cleaned. you can find dust almost everywhere. if they work on maintaining & cleaning this property is a best place to visit kovalam local places with beaches.

I dint like the breakfast they didn't give any fruits for breakfast ...and very less items ..that can be improved more ..if u want to stay there only it will be fine because it's out of the city..every time we need vehicle to go outside which coat around 2500rs ..fir massage and staying near by beach is OK for that ...

This resort is a gem. It's quiet and located in the a peaceful area, surrounds by lush vegetation. The staff is kind and always willing to help, the food is delicious and, above all, the ayurvedic treatments are first class at a very affordable price. The massage therapists are professional and knowledgeable and I can honestly say that of all the treatments I have recieved in my whole life, these were really the best. I've felt safe and comfortable during the whole stay and I would recommend this place to female solo travelers like me. The beach is 10 minutes walk from the Resort and just outside there are plenty of bazaars, shops, restaurants where one can find all they need. Atm is 200 mt away. Incredible, amazing experience. The best place for treatments and inner peace for me.

The breakfast was a vegetarian buffet because we were on a ‘treatment’ regime- it was all very nice. The kitchen and waiting staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a smile and treated with courtesy

There really wasn’t anything to dislike! Suggestion only re the bathroom, maybe a squeegee in there for scooping water into the drain after a shower as floor could be very slippery when wet. Also label or marking on the banks of switches in the rooms? It was a good guessing game to find the right one each time.

Staff were so helpful and friendly, we arrived 15 minutes before the dinner buffet closed so they allowed us to eat before checking into the room (thankfully because there was not a lot on offer outside the hotel). We had an early walk on the beach followed by a swim in the pool. We then spoke with the on-sight Ayruvedic doctor to work out the most appropriate treatments and then booked in for that. After having previous similar treatments earlier on our holiday while in Jaipur, this was simply sensational. The ladies providing the massage, shirodhara and herbal compress were so skilled and knowledgeable, we wished we could spend more than two days here.

There was a large science expo being held on the beach which was fine in itself but was a little noisy. It also made the area fully booked and we had only booked Ideal for one night. We were struggling to find somewhere else to stay in the area however the staff at Ideal went above and beyond and shuffled some people so they could offer us a smaller room (with no air con) at a reduced fee. We were so grateful for this and their assistance, that for one night, the smaller room and no air con was no issue at all.

The resort and facilities were excellent. The food was the best I've had in India. The swimming pool was beautiful, and the beach was close enough to go for a walk.

The room we booked had no air-conditioning, which was a little uncomfortable. However, they do have rooms with air-conditioning, and I would definitely book them again .
