No soundproofing. Here the birds tapping on metal roofs. The toilet had a flushing issue.

The lay out of resort is excellent. Very green with water streams in between. The staff are very good and helpful. The restaurant is excellent, affordable and staff obliging and helpful. The swimmiing pool and gym are good. when we went there it was not that busy and it added to our privacy. The bird sanctuary is part of this resort but was not season, hence that was a diappointment. They provide free buggy transfer from units to reception whenever you want.

Bit difficult for people with disability as the cottages are high from ground and has only stairs. They would struggle to get around by themselves, but free buuggiesare available.

The food was exceptional and great value for money. The lodge was also very clean and great for viewing the lakes animal activities especially in Lake View 5 lodge. All staff were very helpful and soo welcoming! The afternoon snacks and drink are a nice touch 👌 The whole place is very quite and relaxing

Be very mindful there is obviously a lot of mosquitos but to be expected. The water around the lodges had a film of scum which didn't look soo nice. The pool area was very basic and needs some repair. The boat that is available to hire is also very basic. As a foreign visitor we would have liked a more traditional style boat in keeping with the setting. The bar was not an inviting place to sit and drink but you could purchase to take back to your lodge.

Excellent location for a short lakeside stay. Large swimming pool, with the surrounding patio providing a nice spot to watch the sunset. The adjacent bird sanctuary made for a pleasant walk, although birds can be seen everywhere around the lake. Walking distance to some good Indian restaurants in addition to the hotel restaurant. The boat trip at dawn was a wonderful experience. The staff consistently went above and beyond. And we enjoyed our ayurvedic massages!

The cottages are well maintained but showing their age. The bicycles can't be taken off property and the paddle boats can only be used within a relatively small fenced in area. Limited number of tourist sites nearby, aside from the lake and bird sanctuary.

Beautiful and broad location direct at the Vembanad lake. Pedalo free to use. Nice restaurant built in the water, serving very good à la carte meals. Large rooms with good wifi.

Better maintenance required, e.g. not working door locks and safe, switch labeling, holes in the pool’s floor. Noise from night active animals living in the roof and from a very loud water pump at 7.45 AM every morning.

Staying at KTDC Waterscapes was a beautiful experience. The cottages are clean, comfortable, and very well integrated into the natural surroundings, which creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location by the lake makes it even more special. A perfect place to enjoy nature and unwind.

Food on offer at dinner buffet was substandard, limited choices and poorly prepared. Christmas eve buffet was overpriced with poorly designed menu and overall bad preparations. There were no christmas celebrations for the guests , however a group of staff played loud music and banged on guest room doors without any prior intimation after we had gone off to sleep. it was a scary experience.

Breakfast and the food was really good. Staff accommodating. Superb location and scenery.

They should have been more information regarding check-in when booking online. They required travel documents which could’ve been requested in advance or informed of the stay so that we can be prepared. The check in took longer than expected but the staff are very accommodating so it was alright.

"Excellent hotel. Great service.we really enjoyed the stay as family . The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious and with many choices; it was a very wide buffet spread. The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on checkin and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots.specifically buggy drivers and reception staff. The location is great- especially swimming pool. Food was so delicious and staff were so friendly.I would recommend to friends, and will definitely stay again for our next vacation.include in our bucket list .
