Nice big room with view over the superb !! swimming pool. Good restaurant and good food. In house massage service. We appreciate the few long chairs for relaxing before and after swimming. In many Indian hotels these are non existent.

We stayed in the main building on 1st floor with view on the swimming. I don’t know if I would like to stay in one of the bungalows. All people walking right in front of you. Europeans like to relax in the sun on their terrace. That’s not something the Indian people seem to do

Our recent stay at the Rhythm Resort was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was perfect, nestled amidst lush greenery with stunning views. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities. The resort's amenities were impressive, including a fantastic pool area, a well-equipped fitness center, and a variety of dining options that catered to all tastes. Breakfast Buffet had great variety of delicious food. Staff were very friendly. I visited with my aged parents and they arranged Wheel chair services. The pool area was awesome. The stunning view of Vembanad lake and the free boating arranged from Resort was a great experience. I had few massage appointments at their spa and was very relaxing experience We would definitely recommend staying in this Resort to our family and friends. It would be a memorable great experience.

The long pool is definetely the highlight of this property, where you always feel like you have a space for yourself. The sunset views are beautiful from the pool. We also got upgraded from a pool side cottage to backwater facing cottage with a plunge pool. We really enjoyed the views from our room. The staff was also very accomodating to make a special welcome decor as requested. The poolside restaurant is great- we really enjoyed the dinner buffet, though the breakfast was only average.

Please be aware that the adjacent resort hosts loud parties and wedding receptions, not ideal if you are looking for a quiet and relaxed stay. It is especially loud and disturbing for the cottages close to the backwater side and the parties can go upto 10:30 pm. The staff was trying to help like offering to move us etc, but we felt it is something the property management should inform guests at the time of check in to be prepared or discuss options, especially as I can also see from other reviews that it is not a one off incident.

Just had 1 night here to relax and take in Lake Vembanad. Had a small bungalow by the amazing 150m pool which was great to take in the sunset from and an early morning dip. Hotel staff were all very welcoming from the start with welcome drinks and flexibility for our departure time. Ashana was super helpful and all the restaurant staff were great - especially the chef at the live counter. Loved the live music accompanying dinner too - great musicians. Food was totally amazing - really recommend the evening buffet for such a wide choice of very tasty local food.

For the most part all positives. great location and it was peaceful. good for two night stay. warm staff. good food.

I think a few things could be better. The dining area is well spread which means someone who is sitting far from the kitchen despite ordering food earlier got it late. my two older parents ordered dosas and waited for more than 30 minutes to get it. For those who do not opt for buffet dinner the order took for ever to come through. I wish there were some more activities. These can be improved. Other than these we enjoyed our stay very much.

I had the most amazing stay at Rhythm! I stayed for a week with my Partner and we had a fabulous stay because of the incredible beauty of the resort and the natural beauty surrounding it and by how attentive and wonderful the staff were. Starting with the hotel itself, the rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. We stayed in a poolside cottage which was wonderful because we had a veranda and our own steps leading into the pool. The pool itself is something else - it's really long and ends viewing the lake so it feels like you could be in the lake. Being in the pool at sunset is gorgeous as you can watch the sun on the lake. The staff were so attentive and the food was delicious. As we were staying there for a week and dining most days at the restaurant, the staff made sure we had enough variety in our meals (even though the menu was already extensive) and the chef took extra effort to make a dish I had been craving but wasn't on the menu. My partner also had a but allergy and a dish we really wanted to have contained nuts and so the restaurant arranged for it to be prepared especially for us without nuts. I even got given a gorgeous bouquet of flowers! I've never experienced such care and attention at a hotel before, even at big 5* hotels. Rhythm is the perfect place to visit if you want to relax and soak in nature. They also have a daily complimentary boat trip on the lake which was great fun. I've told my family and friends planning a trip to kerala that they must stay here, it's truly a gem and I can't wait to return. Thank you for everything!

I loved every single thing.

The pool was amazing, very long, leading up to the lake, great temperature and very relaxing place to swim. Also very quiet during the day. The lakeside setting is gorgeous, specially for watching the beautiful sunset. The whole setting is beautiful starting with the open lobby and reception to the dining area to the pool and lake. It flows really nicely. All staff were super helpful and friendly and definitely made our stay very pleasant. The extras provided were lovely - afternoon tea with chai, biscuits and a hot snack and the complimentary 1 hour boat ride on the lake. Lovely spa with massage and facial treatments Food was generally very good with great breakfast options and nice dinner buffet.

Wasn't an issue for us but worth knowing that the location is near other 4/5 star resorts, but apart from that there are no restaurants/shops nearby. Also a lot of the proper 'backwater' trips on the shikara are from Alleppey. The local boat providers only seem to provide a boat trip on the lake not the backwaters. Also worth knowing that apart from 4-5 sun-loungers near the lake there are no other sun-loungers near the pool or parasols and there is no pool service or changing area near the pool. It's best to book the cottages which are along the pool so you can access the pool directly from the cottage, rather than the deluxe bedrooms upstairs.

We booked this stay mostly to relax, spend time in the pool with the view of the backwaters. We have stayed at few other properties in the Kumarakom but this one of the best. The pool was amazing and there were multiple staff around the pool to keep it clean from leaves and insects. We stayed at the villa but we also had one of the cottages booked. Both these rooms had direct access to the pool and our villa (103) was at the edge of the pool, had a private plunge pool and amazing view of the backwaters. We mostly ordered room service and the food was of greatest quality. We preferred local dishes such as fish mango curry, prawn mango curry, meen polichathu and squid roast. We also ordered some local favorites for the evening along the pool. The food was amazing and I would definitely visit this property again for the food if not for the rooms and pool. The hospitality was great and they were very responsive. Especially the manager (sorry, forgot the name) who also arranged a breakfast at the pool for us. Breakfast at the pool was a pilot they were running and we were the first guest to try this out.

Breakfast was fabulous. Staff very helpful. Pool was amazing. The dance performance beautiful. The lake boat tour was wonderful. Lunches were delicious as well. We didn't venture out of the hotel except to visit a nearby hotel to have lunch. We enjoyed relaxing. Played some table tennis in the games room and danced on the boat tour which was fun. One of the other families on the boat tour played great music so parents and children were dancing too.

Help desk quoted high prices for cars. One of the pool lights had a plastic bag in it and it looked like it needed maintenance which may be done by now. Some pool steps very slippery due to being in shaded area by shrubs. Mosquitoes in open bathroom area so we kept bathroom fan on during stay and kept the bathroom door closed as recommended by staff.

Location and nature

Very old resort. Not worthy to be called a five star property. Everythîng in the room is old. Furniture, doors, bathroom, style. Not many amenities, available. No hand towels. Buffet breakfast mediocre quality.However the chef Mukesh in restaurant makes nice food. Hotel offers one hour boat trip in the evening which we decided to avail and just 15 minutes prior to departure it was cancelled and we missed going somewhere else as it was late for sight Seeing.
