I had an incredible stay at the Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa, Kumarakom. The ambience and location were simply breathtaking, perfectly capturing the serene beauty of Kumarakom. The Superior Room was amazing—spacious, luxurious, and impeccably maintained. The food buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options. Activities were plentiful and enjoyable, including a swimming pool, fishing, walking trail, gym, and more. The room service was top-notch, with staff being attentive and prompt. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! 🌟

Extremely well maintained property. The place is huge and you can take a leisure walk which is very relaxing. They have almost all the activities included in the package. They have a lot of food options in the buffet and the food was brilliant. Staff is very friendly too.

Our stay at this resort was nothing short of amazing—an experience we’ll always remember. Beyond the excellent facilities, it was the warmth and professionalism of the staff across every department that truly stood out. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, making us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. Our heartful thanks to Mr Anumon for the wonderful support. We originally booked for just one night but were so impressed with the service and atmosphere that we extended our stay by another day. This resort is fortunate to have such a dedicated team, and we hope they continue to uphold these high standards. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to others!

I can honestly not say enough good things about Gokulam resort. Our stay here made our trip one of the best trips we ever had. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. They treated our kids like their own. A special thanks to Parvathy and her team, we had the most amazing meals and they treated the kids so well. Our son basically wanted to stay at the resort forever because of the kind staff. The rooms were big and immaculate. Anything you ask for you get within minutes. The grounds are kept up beautifully. We travel a lot and this is one of the nicest resorts and best service we’ve stayed at all around. They have special events going on all day, like yoga, boat ride and afternoon tea. We stayed at a more expensive hotel right after this and it didn’t even compare to this hotel. I would highly recommend the resort to anybody!

Nothing, it was perfect

Staff are incredible - warm, attentive and accommodating. Helped us sort out a transfer to the airport and late check out with a midnight flight. We were able to use the facilities ie the pool until we had to leave at 6. Was the best way to spend our last day in Kerala. Special thanks to Anju and Rejimond! Exceedingly professional they made our stay so comfortable and welcoming! Rooms are spacious and beds super comfy. Great buffet offering - lots of freshly made options eg dosa, naan, parota, and even papdi chaat for one dinner. Loved the pool and loungers as well. Didn't feel super crowded, which was nice! And the location was wonderful.

Inclusions were a nice touch (eg cultural event/boat trip) felt a bit DIY, but would be amazing if they offered optional paid activities as well to help elevate the experience.

Gokulam Resort is a beautiful resort. Built two years ago, it has amazing layout and amenities. The approach road to the resort is deceitful, once you enter the gates to the resort it is magnificent. Staff are very helpful and pleasant, more than willing to help. The reception area is built majestically and the wood carvings are exquisite. We had a private that is accessible 24hrs through our unit. Kids enjoyed it thoroughly. The food in the restaurant was very tasty with lots of vegetarian options. The Spices and the aroma of the food was very exquisite. There is open air amphitheatre with performances from local artists in the evenings. Yoga class held by Shibin in the morning starts of the day with good posture and breathing exercises. There is a games room with chess, carrom board and table tennis. There is a small artificial lake with kayaking, paddle boating. Overall we had a relaxing holiday. The resort organises sunset cruises in the evening.

Just factor in that it takes 2hrs to get to the property from Cochin Airport

An excellent resort. Everything is immaculate and clean, with great pool & plenty of free activities. We had fantastic customer service and attentiveness by resort staff was excellent - they were wonderful with our 1 year old daughter also. A special thank you to Anju, who spent time to help me translate part of a wedding best man speech from English to Malayalam which made the wedding that much more special!

A great addition would be to provide barista-made coffee in the restaurant rather than filter coffee if at all possible !

The mutton biriani I took for the lunch was not to my expectation. The spices were not adequately flavoured and it had an unusual taste. The cultural Programe in the open air was good but difficult to attend becos of problem with mosquitoes. I think for a place like that it would be difficult to conduct such a program in the open air in the evening. I think you should go for a netted enclosure in the open air fabricated in such a way as not to spoil the esthetics of the place

Awesome experience at the Gokulam Grand Resort. It has all the looks and facilities, service of any international resort and excellent service right from front office/reception where Mr Sherin Babu was there to help explain all the facilities and arranged us the rooms. He escorted us to the room and also ensured all facilities are available what ever we requested. All staff at the restaurant was also very prompt in attending to all our requests and ensured we had a great time and we really enjoyed the variety of foods in the breakfast menu as well as the ala carte lunch and dinner menu. We had complimentary house boat ride in the nearby lake in the evening and also enjoyed the facilities inside the resort like pedal boat, fishing, indoor games etc. Altogether it was a great time at the Gokulam Grand Resort.

A beautiful resort with an amazing architecture and garden space. We loved the rich wooden carvings and the luxurious ambience. The front desk staffs Anu, Philip, Sreerag and restaurant staffs were very friendly and helpful. The Superior villa was very comfortable. It is very well maintained and cleaned everyday. The breakfast had varieties of food and we loved the delicious South Indian idlis, vadas and dosas. Fresh fruits were tasty. The dining room is very well designed and we felt homely. The complimentary evening coffee/tea with snacks was a great add on and it reminded me of eating snacks at my grandparents home. The location is amazing with lots of greenery and lake view. Complimentary sunset boat ride was cool. Oil massage by Anju at Ayur Sukam was calming and rejuvenating. Overall we had a comfortable, relaxing and luxurious stay at Gokulam. I definitely recommend this lovely resort. Many thanks to all the wonderful people who work there.
