We loved our stay at Lakesong Resort and couldn’t have picked a better place during our time in Kumarakom. The grounds were absolutely beautiful with a great view of the sunset over the lake every evening. The food was so tasty, especially from their a là carte menu, and we looked forward to our breakfast every morning. The staff were friendly and helpful and always so smiley. Would recommend staying here and will definitely return in the future.

The rooms are basic and the bathrooms could do with updating but we didn’t spend much time in our rooms so this wasn’t an issue.

Food was fantastic at breakfast, lunch and dinner; great buffets with a range of indian/western food that worked for kids and adults. The view of the lake, the pool and the grounds were also lovely and the free canoe was fun to try. Staff were helpful.

The rooms were a little dark and some of the decor could perhaps do with a refresh.

The tap and shower water was dirty. `staff advised us to leave it flowing for five minutes and it would turn okay after 5 minutes. Even though it was true, the sink and shower floor were dirty after the initial 5 minute flow of dirty/muddy water. `the staff did not offer to clean it. The same problem occurred every 6-8 hours. Frequent power cuts.

Our stay was comfortable and rooms were neat and clean.

Restaurant staff is lazy and refused to serve tea in table but he was serving only for selected customers and food is okay.

The location and gardens were stunning

Additional bed was rock hard, on the second day our room wasn’t serviced, the restaurant lacked atmosphere, and could of been cleaner, there were lots of staff whom could of been put to better use cleaning tables and glass windows which were covered in sticky fingers

the food was good and Mr. Tinso James and his crew were very polite and nice to us. VERY VERY NICE GARDEN AND WATER TUNNELS + SMALL BOAT. NICE POOL.

This is a beautiful, comfortable resort. Our room had a beautiful stoop overlooking a small canal. It was a beautiful place to rest, relax and enjoy. I also enjoyed the pool and complementary breakfast.

Amazing location, and very good customer service

If the room maintenance could be a bit modern and if basic amenities like hair dryer, bath robe/ slippers were provided would be great

We had a really good time and enjoyed every moment..wonderful place immersed in the aesthetic beauty of nature with such kind wonderful staffs . We really enjoyed the stay and food was exceptional. The perfect chicken chettinad in a long time.. Overall ambience, beauty of backwaters and the entire resort was fantastic.will come agian
