The location was excellent. We had a cottage with a lake view which was lovely. The room was clean and was as described, we were happy with it.

The location of the pool was fabulous but it could have been so much better. There was only one umbrella around the whole pool. The water in the pool was quite murky and needed better cleaning. The steps into the pool were very wobbly and we were nervous that they could break as we pulled ourselves out of the pool. Some of the tiles around the pool were cracked and a little broken. It is a real shame that the pool area is not better maintained as this is a real asset to the hotel. When we left we were asked to rate the hotel as 10. I really dislike being influenced like this. Reviews need to be honest and informative.

Amazing spot for a family vacation We booked Cottage room with Lake view including breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious more than we expected, washroom wasnt that clean but it is open bathroom and top part will be open. There were no hooks to keep the wet clothes after pool, the pool was bit crowdy and space was less, they provide evening snacks and tea/coffee which is extra payment. Breakfast was good and fresh, we had south indian also some English breakfast as well (French toast, Chicken sauage, and Boiled egg) also they had sweets and desserts We also had INR 1400/- extra house boat ride which fits 10 people and for 1 hour as sunset cruise. Checkin was smooth and staffs helped even to arrange early check in 1 hour and arranged all 5 rooms for our 10 people group. Minibar was empty, No hair dryer, room service was bit late when we asked for water and coffee packets. I must say front office staff Ms Soly Varghese and Mr Rajeev were so helpful and i must say they were the best to assist us in a very good manner, they helped us for the easy check in/out without much delays and also arranged a wheelchair for our mother when asked. The view from room was spectacular as seen on photos and the access to sitting area and walking path was also good for the cottage room with lake view. Overall i must say 8/10 and must try resort for a family staycation. Overall set up of the cottages, ambience, lake view was good. Breakfast was also good.

We had booked a particular boat ride in advance at Sunset. However the person who was in charge of the bookings, booked the same slot for someone else as well without checking the advance booking. the other party was smart enough to grab the chance and took the ride before we could realise. Although the staff apologized, our valuable time was lost and we had to take the ride in dark. It was a very casual handling by the front office and not at all appreciated.

Overlooking the Vembanad Lake, we stayed in a villa facing the Lake. Swimming pool also overlooks the Lake. we spent maximum time in the very clean Pool, next to our villa. very clean not crowded except 5 to 7 PM. Lot of variety in breakfast. Liked the instrumental music 7 to 8 PM, every evening. well landscaped. We had Fish curry dinners, different each day, with Parotta. Excellent food reasonably priced. Boat rides reasonably priced & well organised. From Kottayam 14 Kms, engaged a Taxi, suggested by them, from Railway station to Abad, very reasonably priced,The hotel has Quality in all they do.

Shower low pressure. At night they should activate the two fountains between the swimming pool & Reception. Suggest just four to five flood lights behind the place where musicians sit, across the small waterbody, at far end to highlight the Palms. will be spectacular

The lake was beautiful and we opted for a breathtaking lake view. It is a well maintained property. The food was delicious at all times. The staff is well trained and very hospitable, each and every staff there. The overall ambience was really apt for a calm and relaxing holiday. Thank you 😊

Rooms are good, but require some maintenance as it's starting to getting old especially the furniture. There is some water issues when we were staying and coloured water used to come after flushing the toilet. So property needs to revisit the fixtures and furnitures which needs some basic maintenance.

1.Location was good, calm and serene. 2. Room (we stayed at Private Pool Villa) was spacious, clean and private. 3. Breakfast buffet spread was good and promptly served at 7.30 am. 4. Dinner buffet spread was good and the cost was fair. 5. Safety and security of the premises was intact. 6. All the staff were always willing to help. Sunset view is amazing. 7. Evening they have live shows for an hour which makes you relaxing before dinner. 8. Sitting area overviewing the back waters is pretty good especially during sunset times. 9. Wifi in the room was very good 10. They take care of drivers food, hygiene

Suggestions to improve 1. Private pool in the villa needs maintenance 2. AC in the living room needs maintenance 3. Need to implement privacy tag for the room 4. For the price we pay it should be all-inclusive (breakfast, lunch and dinner) or atleast half board should be included 5. Public pool is way too small for the occupancy they have 6. Live stations during breakfast and dinner should be more with options (atleast 3) 7. Bread toaster was not working and not managed properly 8. Restaurant staff is very less and hence you have to wait a longer time for the food to get served 9. Communication problem exists between the waiters and the guests (Needs training)

The property is at one of the most beautiful location. The view is amazing and very calming. Can spend the entire day staring at view( just kidding) The staff here was very warm and hospitable They made sure our stay was comfortable. They suggested us some local delicious we can try from Kerala. Within a very short periods they also baked a cake for us for our celebration. In addition to this the boat ride, the spa staff all was worth it Please visit with your family in this resort dont think it Its worth it

When I first arrived, the room that i was given, was not what I had requested. They quickly fixed this up for me, and I had the most loveliest and largest suite with my own backyard garden, outdoor shower and quite privacy. The room was clean, the bed comfortable (only Indian TV options) but great Wifi in the room. The food was magnificent, they hosted 3 daily buffets and the choice was endless, each day it was a different selection of food. If you ever needed anything the staff would even and go to the kitchen and find it for you. Compliments to the chef and the entire food catering team. In the evening, there was music playing in the Reception area, which was a nice touch. Access to house / river boat cruises and the Revival Ayurveda Centre (make sure you book in, they are busy) The location is great on the lake and the views are amazing. A big shout out to Jancy, she is a rockstar! She is always checking in, ensuring everything is okay, seeing if you need anything at all, she has a big kind heart and a lovely smile.

The dirtiest swimming pool I have ever seen. It was so cloudy you couldn't even see the colour of the tiles. There is also a rule about only swimming in your swimmers, apparently it's okay for Indian families to swim in their clothes... no wonder the pool is so dirty... The hotel is quite old and a little run down, they should really refresh the shared facilities, open spaces and do some maintenance upgrades.

Staff need to be more professional and understanding. They were quite rude to me when I checked in. I checked in at 1.57 pm but they said that the room would be ready for occupancy only by 2.30pm whereas the website says 2pm. When I asked why the delay they said it's normal to wait for half an hour to 1 hour which I found to be unacceptable since it was almost 2pm... why make us wait for a half hour extra?

Better time management in providing rooms. Also I was charged for an extra bed which I did not need as I was in a room with my 2 small children. They did not refund the charges for the extra bed even though it was not provided.

The beauty of the property is exceptional. Very good choice for a weekend getaway. Clean surroundings and pool. Friendly staff too.

The buffet they serve doesn't have a good menu....there aren't a lot of choices. We booked a pool villa with breakfast and is disappointed with the buffet because it wasn't worth the money we paid. The payment for dinner buffet is 800/person with very limited disappointing options. So overall the food wasn't great.
