I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was top-notch—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The food was simply amazing, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that made every meal a highlight. But the true gem of this hotel is the pool. It's a full Olympic-length pool, kept in pristine condition and seamlessly maintained every day. Whether for a serious swim or just a relaxing dip, it was easily the best hotel pool I've ever seen. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a touch of luxury!

A Perfect Stay – Beyond Expectations at Taj The Trees Our 5-night stay at Taj The Trees in Mumbai was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with kindness and care that truly set the tone for our entire experience. The hospitality was flawless—every single member of the team, from the doormen to the restaurant staff and the executive lounge team, went out of their way to make us feel at home. The level of service, attention to detail, and warm professionalism is something we’ll always remember. We want to give a special thank you to Mrunali, the concierge who made our stay unforgettable. She helped us organize incredible tours, suggested great local bars and restaurants, and was a constant source of support—especially when my wife felt unwell. Mrunali not only assisted with getting medication but also checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was okay. Her kindness and care truly made a difference. Our room was pure 5-star luxury—extremely comfortable bed, stunning view of the mangroves, and a beautiful bathroom that made it feel like a peaceful retreat after busy days exploring the city. Plus, gym and Wellness Spa were unreal. Taj The Trees is more than a hotel—it’s an experience. We’re so grateful for the warmth and generosity we received, and we can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful staycation at Hotel Taj Trees in Vikhroli with my family. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable from check-in to check-out. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a great variety to suit different tastes — from Indian classics to continental options, everything was fresh and delicious. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, making it a great spot to relax with the kids. We also tried the room service, and the food exceeded expectations in both taste and presentation. It was delivered promptly and still hot — a big plus! Overall, the hotel lived up to the Taj standard with warm hospitality and attention to detail. Perfect for a relaxing family getaway within the city.

We recently celebrated my husband’s birthday at Taj, The Trees, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make our stay incredibly special. To our surprise, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite, thoughtfully decorated for the occasion. What touched us the most was a lovely personal gesture – framed pictures of the two of us placed around the room, making it feel warm, intimate, and so personal. A special shoutout to Jasmeet Kaur, who coordinated everything with such care and attention to detail. Her warmth, professionalism, and thoughtful planning made this celebration truly unforgettable. Thank you to the entire team at Taj, The Trees for creating such a beautiful memory for us. We can’t wait to come back!

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel — it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were warm, welcoming, and efficient, making check-in a breeze. The facilities were well-maintained and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. A special mention goes to the restaurant staff — they were amazing. Their attention to detail and friendly service made every meal enjoyable, and the food itself was top quality. Special thanks to the restaurant manager, Navneet Tripathi, for looking after us and the special requirements of our child.

If I had to suggest one thing, it would be to add a few more facilities to enhance the overall guest experience.

From being greeted in the beautiful lobby. To the bedroom with all of its lighting, beautiful bathroom and bath tub to electric day and night blinds everything was well thought out. We had a 3 occupancy room and compared to other hotels this was far superior boasting a proper mattress with an added comfortable topper as well. Everything here has a hint of environmental friendliness including the water supplied in glass bottles rather than plastic. There is a beautiful sky bar, a further outdoor poolside bar and a restaurant with both a - La carte and buffet available. The restaurant staff in Shamiana along with Manager Mr Tripathi were so thoughtful and were attentive to our needs throughout. Great for families, lone travellers or business travellers.

There is nothing I did not like about this hotel. It is close enough to the airport, it’s in a quieter area. The area around it is protected by security and therefore very safe to roam around alone or with families. There are NO negative remarks about the hotel apart from the location is probably 45-60mins from central or downtown Mumbai.

All the staff, be it the Reception manager and staff, the concierge and also the cleaners are are doing a wonderful job. They are kind and highly professional and take care to make your stay special. Breakfast was delicious. Special thanks to the restaurant manager Navneet Tripathi who took care that everything was perfect. The breakfast buffet offers everything you wish for and has healthy and tasty choices. This hotel has the best staff I have seen for quite a while.

The location is in a very modern and clean area. There is a beautiful sculpture park nearby. But the way from the airport leads to a very busy area, and it takes 40 minutes to get to the hotel.

The welcome by Ms Mrunali and Mr Mark was special and I appreciated the gift of a beaded necklace on arrival. I loved the design of the room...it was on international trend.

My room fulled with smoke from the kitchen above (sky bar) between 5pm and 10pm which was very unpleasant. Strongly recommend a stronger extraction fan in the kitchen or to separate the Aircon systems or not to prepare hot foods in that kitchen in the sky bar. Recommend to teach the spa and beautician etiquette. The beautician was chewing on something when she was speaking to me. Recommend to repair the electronics of the bed in the beauticians room, as it was not working. Fortunately I was moved to the spa section for the treatment. The floor also had oil stains which made it appear dirty. I had to ask for service in the skybar, despite there being few customers.

We booked rooms for a staycation to celebrate a friend's landmark birthday and a second friend's bday. Parvi from Guest Services connected a few days before the stay and noted the occasion and offered to organise some room decor. When we checked in, we were delighted to find the Mangrove facing room for the bday girls had been upgraded to a beautiful Mangrove facing suite with our other room interconnecting and one right across the hallway. This was perfect for the group and we got to indulge the bday girls and had a nice space to gather in. They'd organised a cake and balloons as well. The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping team ensured we were well taken care of through the stay. Will be back again and recommend this property highly for a staycation that feels like a getaway thanks to the lush mangroves you see from your windows. The surprise gift at checkout is thoughtful and a lovely touch. Breakfast was good, with the Indian options being the highlight. The property is within a larger complex that has restaurants and cafes, should you wish to step out of the hotel and try something different.

The breakfast provided was lavish will multiple cuisines available. Most of the dishes were prepared as per order and others were also hot. The breakfast was capable of catering to all the tastes, Indian as well as Asian and European / American. The lunch buffet was wonderful too with varied selections. The Mangrove bar was also wonderful with very good selections of drinks and snacks. The rooms were very well equipped, extremely comfortable and neat and clean. As for any Taj facility, the staff was outstanding and there is no single individual to whom we can compliment. The location, while within Mumbai, was peaceful and quiet and we had a soothing view of mangroves from our room. The wellness facility is excellent too and spa treatment was excellent with reasonable charges.

There was nothing that we did not like. Regarding breakfast seating, one improvement that could be made is to ensure that the guests should wait for seating. I saw a couple of cases where guests occupied the tables where people were already seating and had gone to pick up the food. Also, the guests should be politely told to seat down and eat the breakfast and not stand near the food counters and eat.
