I never met someone as helpful as Parvat ( the hostel owner). When I arrived in Udaipur, I had very bad and painful stomach infection. When I told Parvat about my state he spontenaously brought me to hospital and stayed with me the whole night. Next he came every day to check how I was until I was finally able to leave hospital. Then I came back to his hostel where he selected a good room for my remission, with not too much stairs to climb and fresh temperature. I could ask the staff anything about special food I had to eat or drink because of my illness. Also his family helped me, for example bringing me again to hospital later for further check. Room was big clean and well equiped. The hostel has also an amazing rooftop where you can relax. Thank you Parvat and everyone for your help :) If I am in Udaipur again I will come back.

Little Peepal House is very conveniently located near by Jagdish Temple and very close to Jagore Ki Havelli. Parvat was an excellent host and went above and beyond to help me get tickets for the Rajasthani Folk Dance show and Jagore Ki Havelli and took me to TigerLake and Ahar Cenotaphs - worth the trip. I loved Udaipur, and Parvat made it all the more memorable. HUGE THANKS TO YOU!!! Note that the hotel is very tall and steep so you will have to climb stairs. The rooftop view is excellent! We watched fireworks from here on NYE!

Toilet roll and hand soap would have been good to have in the room. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Little Peepal House is a fantastic hotel having clean rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is situated in the Old City close to many restaurants, cafées, shops, and sightseeing opportunities. The rooftop of the hotel has a spectacular view overlooking the lake and mountains. The owner Parvat, his staff, and his family, was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Parvat was always reachable on WhatsApp. I can strongly recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. :)

Cosy little hotel in the old town of Udaipur. Sat on the rooftop terrace every night to watch the sunset. I really enjoyed my stay in Little Peepal House, Parvat is a great host. The breakfast was great, especially the Beetroot Pancakes where amazing. I can also strongly recommend to ask for the day tour towards the Kumbhalgarh Fort, they have an English speaking driver who took us, this Fort is absolutely amazing!

The hotel is a bit difficult to find for the first time, but just call/whatsapp Parvat and he will guide you/pick you up.

I loved this place! A simple, but very pleasant hotel in a quiet street, close to the lake, the Jagdish temple and the palace. The owner, Parvat, and his family were very friendly and helpfull and made me feel happy, safe and at home. And what a wonderful view from the rooftop. So nice to sit there early morning or at sunset to overlook the city and the lake. With Prem we made trips to Eklinji and to Kumbalgargh, that was great! Thanks for a wonderfull stay and a hug for your two lovely little boys!

Everything! It was a brilliant stay. The room was huge, comfy and had a great bathroom with hot water. I was in a non ac room as monsoon time so not hot. It was amazing value for money. Best place I’ve stayed in India so far (and I’ve been here six months). As it was stormy they brought breakfast and dinner to my room because it was too wet for roof terrace (which has awesome views when it isn’t raining), the food was delicious. Staff so friendly the owner showed me his house and made me chai. The location is amazing everything a short walk away. Highly recommend.

Very small point but the young lad woke me up at 8am by repeatedly knocking and calling to me - this was sweet as he was offering me coffee but I was trying to catch up on many nights of bad sleep / night buses and had ordered breakfast for 9am for that reason. If someone doesn’t answer after two or three knocks probably best to let them sleep.

Great location, walking distance from lots of restaurants and the touristic area. The room was super spacious, clean, with lots of natural light and great decor. They also have a rooftop, with a beautiful view from the city and lake. Parvat offers tours, drivers and other services that might be useful for the traveller.

Be aware that in Udaipur most of the buildings have lots of stairs. I would love to have extra shelving in the bathroom.

It’s a great value for money and Parvat is a lovely host that takes care of everything for you which makes the stay very enjoyable. The place is located centrally though from the street you need to walk 30 m through a back alley. The rooms on upper floor are very nice and spacious (see under „Lobby“) The rooftop is nice to have a simple breakfast there.

Although my room was rather a budget option it could have been cleaner. The ashtray in the room was not emptied, and the bathroom had a moldy stench.

- note that there are many stairs in this property, but this is the same across all of udaipur. - we did not eat here but food seemed a little expensive

Parvat, the owner/manager was a superb host and very helpful. Recommended outings, even took me on his motorbike to a good starting point, invited me to breakfast one morning in his house! Just made everything easy and enjoyable. Location in the old town is brilliant too, with so many places in walking distance. Room was really lovely and clean with all necessary amenities and decent bathroom. I really recommend this place

Nothing really! Except be prepared to climb stairs for the best rooms and rooftop terrace, as there is no lift.
