We tried this hotel in 2023 & loved everything about our stay, hence our return. An unfortunate delay & the Indian elections meant we had to change our follow-on itinerary on short notice. Security is a top priority at O by Tamara & everything gets scanned at the entrance akin to G20 meeting clearance! The smiling, friendly & helpful staff embody the meaning of genuine hospitality here. Mr Joseph, the general manager & the department heads are clearly visible daily & open to chatting with inhouse guests. They really listen to your concerns & do what they can to make your stay comfortable & unforgettable. During our stay, we thoroughly enjoyed sampling the local & international fare. Restaurant buffet spreads were wide & varied. Compliments to chef Ajay who prepared a non spicy dish for us at dinner when we could not handle the heat of the dishes served one particular evening. Compliments also to the great restaurant manager Rajesh & his team, also to restaurant staff Jithin & Sravanan who stood out with service, friendliness & the food recommendations to try. Attention to hygiene & cleanliness in the restaurants, public areas and washrooms is another consideration to stay here. Exec Housekeeper Mr Jaleel & his staff ensured our room was cleaned well on the days we didn't have the DND sign on the door. Special mention to HK staff Suddhu who was organised, methodical & fast. Compliments also to FO duty manager Raakhi in her service, also the receptionists behind the counter who were always attentive & helpful with their suggestions. On our 1st trip, we enjoyed the Spa and hairdresser but on this visit, the delays & time constraints prevented us from doing so. Lulu Mall is just nearby but you still need a taxi to get there safely across 2 busy roads! Well worth visiting.

Despite the varied buffet spreads, there should be some control on the liberal use of pepper & chilli on every main course dish. We know the locals like their food spicy. We found additional spices like pepper & chilli flakes added to oil-fried breakfast sausages, which we thought unnecessary. Why not just offer pepper & chilli shakers on the tables or buffet side station? We had to be very explicit to the show cooks who were cooking the omelettes for absolutely zero salt & pepper. Even with creamy Western dishes on the buffet, there was liberal use of pepper. We were hesitant to order Western dishes from the Room Service menu because of this reason. The disposable shavers in the room amenity tray should have a re-look as they can be blunt & dangerous.

The receptionist young lady ( didn’t catch her name) on the 25th was very sweet and helpful. All the staff are very good, especially the Restaurant staff Shamna, Rijo, Aditya and Sunoop. Special mention about Chefs Dileep and Sanil who took great pains to make some food for me minus all my allergens. Kudos to them! The room, bed, pillows& AC were all excellent . So was the bathroom. Loved the pastel shades in the room with the lotus petal motif on the carpet & lampshades. The pool area was good too.

The only thing lacking was space to walk around the property… probably due to the location on the NH bypass. The housekeeping staff probably needs a little more training .

Excellent buffet breakfast with a great range of cuisines and excellent quality. The suite was very spacious and comfortable, and the dividing door and second toilet were very helpful. Walking distance to Lulu Mall. Very helpful and friendly professional staff. Lots of options for dining - room service was very speedy and had a great range, and we also liked the new rooftop bar/restaurant (but if you have a 20% food discount booking deal, beware that it doesn't apply to the rooftop bar).

We requested an extra bed for an adult but it was a disaster, a very uncomfortable camp bed, and opted for the couch instead. Might be ok for kids. Sadly the pool shut early for an evening function which was disappointing as we weren't given any warning and only discovered after we were all dressed in our swimmers with nowhere to go!

From start to finish, our experience was absolutely amazing! we can’t wait to go back and once again enjoy the incredible hospitality—truly the best which we ever received anywhere in the world. Thrivendram is a unique and special place that left a lasting impression on me.

There is absolutely nothing we didn’t like about this place. Everything was just perfect! If someone is really looking for something to complain about, they’ll always find something—but honestly, we had no complaints at all. The experience was incredible from beginning to end.

Stayed at O by Tamara in Trivandrum, was pleasantly surprised. Check in was great with smiling Shameel, he is always smiling when dealing with me or even other guests, amazing personality, just such a warm character and it shows. Room was comfortable, fantastic shower pressure, complete toiletries without even asking for anything like shaving kit etc. Only comment I have is that the shower creme in 1424,was not coming out well, maybe time to replace dispenser. Nayaka and Gupka and tallest guy (with face mask, at dinner on 1Mar, served me pizza) at coffeehouse, bless them, great assets, so so courteous, hardworking, making sure customers are happy. The girls at breakfast again,the Best! Came in 15mins before closing at breakfast, so patient, getting me my stuff, thank you again. I usually stay at other branded hotels, and I have to stay, I love the vibrancy and energy at dinner with staff, ambience, please keep this up in Trivandrum!

As a traveller all over the world this is the first and only hotel who has done one thing NO ONE else has managed to pull off what is it? It is the only hotel that does not offer plastic bottles of water but glass bottles that can be refilled. The world is awash with plastic bottles floating in the oceans on the beaches and in the deserts so I commend this hotel for doing something courageous and in alignment with what every business owner is pushing - the environmnet - but very few deal with the real issue which is the plastic bottles.

Stayed for 2 nights in a spacious deluxe room overlooking the pool and motorway, very quiet considering location. Lovely big swimming pool which we used a lot. Food was very good and we had a great choice at breakfast, lunch and also dinner. We had drinks in the rooftop bar one evening which was great but a bit over priced. The bar downstairs by pool was better price wise as they did a happy hour until 6pm. Staff here we found very friendly and helpful. Our transfer to Trivandrum airport took less than 10mins in an Uber and cost under 200INR. Can highly recommend this hotel as seemed very good value for the price.

We stayed for five nights at the hotel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with good bedding and a nice TV. The hotel has a charming atmosphere, and the pool offers a great view of Trivandrum and Lulu Mall. The restaurant and breakfast are good, though the prices are a bit high. Shuttle services to the mall and taxis are expensive, so we recommend using Uber. While the staff is helpful with luggage and bags, the reception could be more welcoming, and communication sometimes required repetition. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks.

I loved my room so much, it was as big as my European flat. My bed was huge and the sheets were sheer luxury. I loved that there were healthy locally made snacks in the room that meant I didn't have to snack on junk. There was plenty of drinking water and lots of tea to choose from. I absolutely loved loved the bathroom - the mirror was well lit so that a girl can do her makeup properly. Plus they had thoughtful toiletries like a local loofah and everything one needs. I had planned on using the swimming pool everyday while I was there, but I was so relaxed in my room that I never go there. I loved my in room dining experience too - my meal was brought on a huge tray with a lot of thoughtful bits and pieces making my experience rather elegant in my room. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant was just superb as was the dinner. You really don't need to go to any other restaurant in town when the food is this good and especially because there are a lot of veg options. I loved being so close to the Lulu Mall. I ended my trip to India here so that I could do a little shopping and relaxation. Speaking of relaxation, the complimentary use of the steam room and sauna is a huge plus. Also, the fact that the hotel is so close to the airport, makes this a place that I would stay again and again.

The view outside my room was a junkyard. I guess this isn't the responsibility of the hotel, but that's not the impression you get when booking.

The place was clean, good rooms, and worth the price.

I made the booking for 3 people based on the selection available on booking.com for a suite room with a higher price. I was told the booking was for 2 and I had to pay extra when I had already selected the higher option. The staff were unwilling to adjust and I had to pay extra. This was frustrating as I was spending the night with my father who just got released from ICU at KIMS hospital and I did not need to go through this hassle at that time.
