Staying at the Penida Bambi Green Suite hotel was the best option we chose for our vacation. 😀 The people who work at this hotel are very polite and smiling. The service is very helpful with every problem. The room we got was indescribable, it was just a beautiful shock for us. The food was very delicious. I recommend this hotel 100%. Mrs. Eka is a very amazing person, infectious with smiles and positivity. Mr. Wijaya who organized the trip for us was a very good man, he showed us real life on Nusa Penida. The location was impeccable. Being surrounded by the sounds of the jungle while having an uninterrupted view of the ocean was a truly unique experience that we won’t forget. All the staff were extremely attentive, making us instantly feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and we found the outdoor bathroom and upstairs attic quite a unique feature that we thoroughly used! the breakfast and meal selection was great and the kitchen was really careful to comply with any dietary restrictions we had. The reception was also kind enough to organize ground transportation for us throughout the island and purchased our ferry tickets.

Everything was perfect about our stay, however, please note that the property is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for any individuals with mobility limitations.

Wow! Wow! And wow again! This was like living in paradise for a few days. Firstly the staff are amazing, beautiful people, especially Mayu and Eka who are running the day to day operation at the suites along all the other hard working staff. They are on call to you and they give you amazing service. They are so good that they should be teaching others how to do hospitality right. They could work anywhere in the world. I don’t only miss the suites but them too! They are also great at recommending what to do on the island and have drivers to drive you around so you have nothing to worry about, if you want a near to care free holiday in a paradise you won’t want to believe and will struggle to believe you are in then this is the place for you. Also Mayu is a great photographer. Oh and make sure you get up every morning for sunrise as it’s so worth it and you won’t get bored of it.

The location is absolutely stunning and being in nature for a couple nights was so relaxing. The staff are top quality, with special thanks to Mayu for making our stay the best it could have been and for accommodating all of our requests - she's a star.

Whilst the location itself is beautiful, it's right on top of a mountain. Meaning to go anywhere you need to hire a taxi, but given the honeymoon vibe of the place that's not too much of a concern. The resort occasionally had electricity issues, but the staff were quick to resolve them.

We had a wonderful stay, the houses are surprisingly confortable and everything is spotless. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, would definetely go back!

The only point is that the roads to get there are very bumpy (but that's not uncommon in the whole island). Also, watch your steps, there is many caterpillars and other bugs, but just remember that you are in the middle of the jungle, so it's basically their home :)

This accommodation is wonderful in many ways. At first the service is great and Astuti and their team were a wonderful host to us. The lunch and breakfast we had there were great. The staff could arrange anything for us. They booked our transport to and from the island, we hired a motorbike, and booked a snorkeling tour with them. I also booked flowers on the bed. All went very well. The bamboo suite is beautiful and very clean with an air-condition unit and a beautiful outside bathroom. They also clean the shared swimming pool each day. You do hear and see the sounds of nature here but for us this only contained dogs, roosters, chickens, geckos and a lizard. So far we have spotted no really tropical wild animals. We have stayed here for 2 nights and we think that is just enough. There is really not that much to do on Nusa Penida and we made great use of the motorbike to go to the beautiful viewpoints on the island.

If the accommodation could do something about the last 500 meters of road to the suites it would be great. This last 500 meters is an offroad road that is really bad. Each day we had to take great care on the motorbike when approaching this road and by car it is a very bouncy and wobbly experience.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel felt incredibly private—there were only a few villas, so it never felt crowded or touristy. Even by the pool the surrounding creates a peaceful and exclusive atmosphere. The surroundings felt like a picture-perfect jungle, something we could have never imagined. The service was not just very good—it was outstanding. Mayu was the best host we could have ever wished for. All hotel services, including travel arrangements, activities, spa treatments, and special dining requests, were handled incredibly quickly and flawlessly. Simply an unforgettable experience!

I can’t recommend Penida Bambu Green Suites enough! Mayu,Eka and Murta are the best!!!! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left (and even beyond), the staff went above and beyond in every single way. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made this stay one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel we stayed at in all of Indonesia! First of all, the hotel itself is stunning. The entire setting is magical—from the wooden walkways and little staircases to the private balconies and breathtaking views. Our room was gorgeous, cozy, and beautifully designed. Even though there were some mosquitoes outside, they had already prepared our bed with a canopy, so we had no issues at all. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which is a huge plus in Nusa’s heat. The outdoor bathroom was another unique highlight—it was not only beautiful but also added to the whole tropical experience. One of the most special features was the extra balcony on top, accessible via a little ladder, where we could relax and watch the sunrise or sunset. There was even a third balcony downstairs, but honestly, with so many amazing spots, we couldn’t even use them all! And of course, the views were absolutely breathtaking—we could even see the volcano in the distance. The service was beyond exceptional. Every single staff member was incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We’re vegan, and even though our dietary needs weren’t included in the regular breakfast options, they specially prepared a meal just for us—something that very few places would do. We truly appreciated their thoughtfulness. They also offered scooter rentals, and they were very professional about it, making sure we knew which roads were safe and giving us great recommendations. Any question we had, they were always happy to help.

It truly exceeded our expectations — everything was beautiful, and the attention to detail was exceptional. Both the staff and the food were amazing, taking great care of every aspect of our stay. We would like to make a very special mention of Wijaya, our driver during the tour. From the very beginning, he was attentive, kind, and highly professional. He constantly made sure we were comfortable, shared interesting facts about the island with a big smile, and showed genuine passion for his work. On top of that, he had the lovely gesture of bringing peanuts himself so we could feed the monkeys — a small detail that made our experience even more special and authentic. Thanks to him, the day was perfect. Without a doubt, if we ever return, we would choose the same hotel and the same driver again. We will also wholeheartedly recommend both to any friends or family planning a trip to Nusa Penida.

It was our most romantic beautiful place to stay ever!! Miss Eka truly kind and accommodating our stay in every way, thank you for your kindness miss eka.. we got flowers arrangement which was make everything even more memorable, the room was super nice !!

A bit further inside the hill than we ever expected so we need to get driver to pick us up or take us some places which is no problem at all and totally recommended. Other than that just to go bathroom which is sooo gorgeous outdoor, the door always make a loud noise. But not huge problem we still love to go back and stay there a bit longer.
