Great location close to the main street and beach. The guys who run this place are really lovely and accomodating. You can rent bikes too to get around the island. The only breakfast option is omelette, however this was still really nice!

There is a mosque closeby which played music all throughout the night. I was woken up a few times each night because of it, so bring some good earplugs. This may have been because we visited during Eid though.

Our favourite stay in Indonesia so far, the most incredible, friendly staff you could ask for. Comfortable bed, beautiful traditional room. The Banana pancakes and the omelette breakfast are absolutely delicious. Norman, Jimmy and the rest of the staff can organise snorkelling, transfers, bike rental and laundry for a really good price. The sunset snorkel is a must to see the gili turtles and lots of beautiful fish! We were very sad to leave and would love to return!

Nothing! The only thing we would mention is that the water in our room was not hot, however as the island is so warm this was not an issue for us at all and was actually very nice. Would also be handy to have a seperate hand towel provided too 😊

Breakfast was always available, and the staff were very helpful and supportive. I could rent a bike directly at the accommodation and sign up for local activities on-site, which was super convenient. They even helped me with my suitcase when one of the wheels was broken – really appreciated the kindness and service! As a solo female traveler, I also felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout my stay.

Jimmy and his dad were super excellent hosts, the accommodation was far enough away from the main part of gilli t that it was very quiet, but also just a 15 min walk to both sides of the island.

More soap in the showers would have been nice, but not a deal breaker.

Loveeeedd staying here! Norman and Sam were so kind, welcoming and helpful, I cannot thank them enough! The room itself was gorgeous, the breakfast was lovely and filling, and there are even bikes at the resort that you can use to get around the island. The location is not too far from anything but being in the middle of the island made it much more peaceful. So happy I chose to stay here, would definitely recommend!!!

I personally didn't use the TV but it was pretty high up and quite small, though it really didn't bother me. The only issue I had was that the aircon did leak a bit, though that is to be expected because of the humidity.

Everything! This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff are all outstanding and are so kind and polite. The room was fantastic size with great facilities and aircon. They helped us with bikes, washing and even a snorkeling trip. Breakfast was included which we didn't know and was also great. Mr Norman the manager is so friendly and keeps you laughing. He takes a general interest and wants you to have fun. On our last day they even took our stuff to the ferry port for us and lent us bikes so we did not have to walk. Make sure you choose this place!

Nothing in all honesty... they couldn't of been more friendly and made our stay perfect. They are based in the middle of the island but everything is in walking distance.

We loved our stay here. My desire was for quiet, away from the mosque, and roosters, and yes, it was lovely and quiet. No problem to walk everywhere. A good hot water shower, too and large comfy bed. The staff are incredibly helpful. Thanks, Norman, Jimmy, and Sam! I think the term 'resort' is not quite the right terminology here. Bungalows would be better. All up, what you would expect for the price and good value for money.

An incredible stay thanks to our amazing host! Wonderful people who gave us great advice throughout our trip. We did a day trip to see the turtles an unforgettable adventure! We also had the chance to rent electric scooters, which made getting around really easy. Thank you so much again! I 100% recommend!

Everything! The room was cute, clean and big, delicious breakfast (you have to try the omelete), the pool was clean… But the best of Banana Leaf is the service. Norman helped with everything, he is always there to provide facilities about everything, also Omar and all the staff. We loved the location, you are in the middle of the island and can go everywhere by 5 mins by bike (and you stay away of the party).

Banana leaf was in the perfect location. It was a 10 minute walk inland which made it very quiet and peaceful during the night. The air conditioning, pool, and breakfast were fantastic. Norm, who works at the front desk, knows pretty much everyone and everything on the island and even rescued us when we missed our boat back from Gili air. Staying here every time we go back to Gili T.
