Kind of like Bali style designs. Staff are friendly and polite. Breakfast not bad.

Soundproofing is not good. You can clearly hear neighbors talking, which makes it hard to sleep if they are inconsiderate.

The hotel is located right in the center, and the staff is very helpful, meeting all your needs. We rented bicycles, and they were in good condition. The pool was nice. We were comfortable as four adults and a baby. The room was on the ground floor, and there was another room accessible via stairs. There was only one toilet, but it was sufficient. Upon entering the hotel, you are offered a welcome drink, and there is complimentary Nescafé in the room. A refrigerator, kettle, and TV are also available.

Due to the hotel’s central location, it gets very noisy. There is a nightclub at the beginning of the street, and you can hear the music until late at night. There is also construction right next to the hotel, causing noise throughout the day. On one of the days we stayed, there was a barbecue right next to the hotel, and we were overwhelmed by the smoke—it was hard to even breathe.

Hotel was very well located, near the jetty but away from the main road where there's more noise and dust. Staff were extremely hospitable and friendly and went out of their way to service us. Loved the beautifully tendered garden and landscape. The place is clean and quite pretty.

The toilet was downstairs which we were aware of at the time of booking but stairs turned out to be steep (we are a group of seniors, no problem for the young). Hotel is near mosque and prayers start at 5am for about 10-15min. Unfortunately, we couldn't go back to sleep after waking up. The little villas are just good for sleeping accommodation, sofa and any gathering is outside on the patio. It was hot when we visited and we had to deal with mosquitos (prevalent in Lombok).

We had a generally positive experience. The villa was very clean, and the staff was kind and attentive, which made our stay pleasant. In terms of value for money, this place is hard to beat. The breakfast was simple but delicious, which was a nice start to the day.

Our villa was near the street, and we could hear a lot of music coming from the bar nearby. After we complained, the staff quickly moved us to the villa next door, but unfortunately, the noise was still noticeable. Luckily there were more quiet nights. Despite this, the overall experience was good, thanks to the cleanliness and the friendly staff. If you're sensitive to noise, though, this might be something to keep in mind. However, I guess it's a common issue on the island.

Staff were very friendly and reluctant to take a tip when they were providing us with ice and glasses for our drinks both nights but we persisted. Breakfast was delicious, I could not fault the place. Was just off main street down an alley, short distance from pier and noise was minimal. Only thing I would say to be mindful of is the stairs to bedroom are a little steep if you have mobility issues. Not sure if all rooms are the same as what we had though. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing I didn't like.

The property is excellent value for money. It situated in central Gili T, 2 minutes walk to the main street. We traveled with a family of 5 (3 teenagers). Martas is a wonderful property for a family. It is lovely and quite, has lovely gardens and pool. The staff are OUTSTANDING and helped us with EVERYTHING. They organized bikes, snorkeling tours, washing etc, and all for really great prices! The breakfast is excellent, way more than we could eat. We walked or biked into town every evening for dinner (approx 5min walk to the main square & 2min walk to the beach). We will definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay at Martas, the staff went above and beyond to help us. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. The island had a power cut in the day and Jo made sure to put the generator on so we could get ready for a trip. Staff also helped us and walked us to the port on our last day, which really was above and beyond. Particular thanks to Jo for being so welcoming and providing us with lots of tips and info for the rest of our trip. The rooms are lovely and the pool makes for a welcomed dip. Breakfast each morning was more than we expected with juice, fruits, hot drinks and a choice of an egg based dish, it was a great way to start the day. There is a water cooler so you can top up water when you need. The hotel is only a short walk from the port and main strip so easily accessible. We hired bikes organised by the hotel and cycled around the island to see some of the sights, you can loop round the whole island in less than an hour including photo stops. We wanted to get away from the main strip one day so cycled to sunset beach, where the bigger resorts are, they’re very quiet on that part of the island and you can buy a drink to get a sun lounger for the day and watch the sunset before cycling back. The hotel was perfect and I wasn’t disappointed with anything the hotel could change. But just to be mindful that Gili T has a vibrant party scene as two friends in our late 30s/40s that wasn’t for us. Martas is set back from the main strip so is fairly quiet but you can hear the beat of the music from the nearby bars if you’re settling into bed before midnight. It didn’t disturb us too much and we wanted to be closer to everything for ease of walking around.

Lovely clean hotel, the staff are working non stop to keep the grounds clean. Rooms were cleaned daily, air con was really good. Tje staff were always very helpful, great location, 10 mins walk from the harbour. Breakfast was grest, prepared fresh every day. Its not the poshest or biggest hotel on tje island, but id absolutely recommend it to anyone for a stay

The only negative was the lack of storage in the ground floor bedroom

Stylish, cozy place, in the middle of everything but on a quiet street. Very clean! Very nice, helpful staff! They booked for us an absolutely amazing snorkeling trip for less money. A must do! We've seen so many turtles! Good breakfast. Nice sitting area outside. Beautiful nature photos from the owner. Great policy on no plastic bottles/straws! Cold drinking water always available. - mosquitoes breeding around the outside bench - as many times stated, the wooden staircase to the 2nd floor is not for old people or small children, but we survived with no accident - the pool is small and it gets too hot, needs more trees/shade. But who needs it when a great beach is everywhere:)

Spotlessly clean. Rooms very comfortable with ample room. Small complex. Quiet and private. Beautiful pool. Breakfast was delicious and with sufficient portions.
