We had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Jakarta! The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. A special mention to **Murniati**, the hostess, who made us feel very comfortable. At the breakfast buffet, the staff was exceptionally kind and attentive. I didn’t catch all the names, but many of the ladies went out of their way to take care of us. Our daughter came down with a cold during our stay, and to our surprise, the hotel has a small clinic with a doctor, which was really convenient and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for both its excellent service and comfort!

While we enjoyed our stay, one downside was that the water play area, which was a key reason we chose the hotel for our family, was under renovation during our visit. Although we were informed via email, it was too late to change our plans. It would also be great to have an indoor playroom for kids, especially for rainy days or just to add more variety for families.

This is my fourth time in Shangri-La Jakarta (my last review of this hotel was December 2018), and I am always happy with the hotel. This time I’d like to summarise my findings on the Shangri-la hotels in general, particularly this Shangri-la Hotel in Jakarta. I found out that, this hotel is, absolutely covers everything you want, such as business, leisure, family etc. I’m 72 years old, and found that, just a Standard Room at Shangri-la hotel in Jakarta comprises everything you want compared with all the luxury 5-star hotels I stayed in around the world, everything is up-to-date, and quality control, I’ve never asked for anything to be changed or mended etc. From my perspective, the hotel is absolutely perfect for everything and everyone

Nothing I didn't like, perhaps the room price should be reduced for regular gust

This hotel is luxurious and well appointed. It's very family friendly with an amazing pool which was never busy. The rooms are very large similar to a studio apartment. The staff are great, the breakfast is fantastic and the location is relatively central. The hotel bar has a great band that plays every day except Sunday when it's closed. Drinks are a bit steep for Asia but the entertainment makes it worth it. The hotel staff were also very accomodating with late checkout on my last day due to a late flight which helped tremendously with giving me time to pack and rest prior to my long flight. I will definitely stay here again and have already recommended to others.

A Very Trivial Matter but as a tea drinker relevant to me. While our stay at the Shangri-La Hotel was generally enjoyable, one aspect that stood out negatively was the room kettle. It was incredibly slow, to the point where I could fill it, switch it on, take a shower, shave, and get dressed before it would finally boil. This inconvenience detracted from the otherwise seamless experience, as it made simple tasks like making a cup of tea or coffee unnecessarily time-consuming. Addressing this issue would significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

What a joy. I splashed out and stayed on the Club floor. Everything about my stay was a delight, from my arrival (a very comfortable check-in in the Club lounge), the room itself (large, very comfortable, high up so great views over the city), the terrific Club lounge afternoon canapes and evening cocktails (very relaxed, I stayed over a weekend and in the run-up to elections, so visitor numbers were lower than at other times), the staff (everywhere in the hotel, but special mention to Ms Fesya and her colleagues in the Club lounge team, just excellent, nothing too much trouble), hotel facilities (great pool and super entertainment in the ground floor lounge where - as the only person there! - I had a personal performance by the super singer/piano duo on Friday evening), terrific breakfast (I chose to eat in the hotel restaurant rather than the Club lounge; the choice was huge, and all superb). All in all, a perfect start to my holiday!

Swimming pool deep in last part 2.4m , and very clean water - breakfast amazing - spa is nice - all the staff is good and helpful and trained very well how to deal with the customer - safety and security are very good , Mr. Firmansah was enthusiastic in his work, and his interactions with the children were beautiful.
