Everything about the room and facilities were great. We booked a last minute budget stay here so value for money was excellent. We were placed in a room that had a small balcony with an average view so I asked for a better room and the staff were more than happy to help. We were put in a lovely room with large balcony looking over pool area and also nice tree views. The bed was huge, pool large and clean, the shower pressure was great, service was good and a good central location.

The feral Aussie bogan guests who behaved like pigs. Gives us decent Aussies a bad image.

Location was good, central to the Kuta area and beach. Pool was clean and cool, well maintained. Rooms basic but clean, no mould or smells, air conditioning worked very well. Hot water in shower, takes a while but it does get very hot. Kettle with coffee and sugar, 2 water bottles every day. Working, clean bar fridge with small freezer. Breakfast basic but good for the price. Large menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. Gardens nice.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, our pillows were too hard for us (personal preference) so we just bought some for ourselves, only cost $4. Mattress a bit hard but we got use to it. For the price we can't complain and will definitely return. I would suggest that they have bamboo roll down blinds for the rooms facing the sun in the morning as it gets too hot to sit outside in the morning and block out curtains would help too.

We had breakfast included but discovered there was a better choice off of the regular breakfast menu with larger portions The breakfast was a bit small. The meals though were delicious and Bali has a big western influence with Ribs , Steaks , Pizza etc. The room was comfortable, the pool was clean and fresh towels supplied for the pool .Staff were amazing . Room was made up every day unless you told them not to. And they even decorated our room with balloons and banners ( that I supplied) and did some amazing fancy towel work as a nice surprise for my wife's birthday. The shower is a fixed head type with hot water,very hot at times. Aircon is quiet and has a sleep mode.

The hotel is over fifty years old and our bathroom was a bit tired with a stained sink and pitted plughole ( no plug ) The furniture is very old with ill fitting doors and draws which smell a bit musty so we didn't use them , instead we used a clothes rail and shelf attached to the wardrobe and wall which was adequate.( Which suggests they know about the furniture) . To move around Bali is very slow due to volume of traffic and the thousands of motorcycles and narrow roads. It took us 3.5 hours to travel 35 km on one occasion. The beach is lovely but to many old women pestering you continuously in an aggressive way so you can't relax and enjoy the scenery so we only went once which was a shame.

The rooms were massive and super clean. The staff were amazing, grounds were lovely and well kept. We stayed at somewhere before La Walon that was four times the price per night and our room at La Walon was cleaner and we were much happier having room to move and fresh air on the balcony.

The restaurant food / breakfast was not the greatest but for the price it was very convenient to grab the kids a quick meal if they were hungry. Although, for the price of the room we were more than happy to pay for breakfast elsewhere.

This was our 4th trip to Bali in the past two years. We have stayed at more high-end hotels in the area, but we discovered that this gem of a hotel is by far the best value when staying in Kuta. The location is excellent! You can walk to Kuta Beach in 3 minutes. There is a swimming pool. The staff are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. You can walk to all of the Kuta shopping, dining, and entertainment areas easily from the hotel. There is even live acoustic entertainment at the restaurant/bar area on some nights and sports on the TVs. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms are simple, and it's an older hotel, but it is kept very clean. You simply can not beat the value of this hotel at the prices they charge.

As stated above, it's an older property, so don't expect to walk into a 5 star hotel. But if you are looking for a simple, clean place to stay after being out touring all day, this is the place for you!

Excellent value at this older style hotel in the heart of Kuta. We had 3 rooms on 2nd & 3rd floors & while the rooms are old & not pristine, it had everything we needed: big comfy bed, great AC, TV, fridge, tea/coffee making and daily cleaning. Pool is big, clean, grounds tidy & very reasonably priced food & drink delivered to your sun lounge. Very friendly, obliging staff.

Balconies are very small on top two floors (much larger if a ground level room), curtains were thin which meant an early wake up from the sunshine.

Great location, the staff were incredible and super avcomidating. We had 2 interconnecting rooms in the corner so awesome eith our kids. The pool was great for small family's ans the food prices where unbeatable.

Rooms are quite old which was very noticeable in the bathrooms. Also very slippery so the kids banged a few heads. The beds also where quite hard.

Location was great, near beach, Beachwalk Shopping Centre, affordable restaurants, airport. Room very comfy, good bed, great aircon, hot water rainfall showers with good pressure. It’s an older hotel, but everything was comfortable and the price was right for our budget. Gardens well-maintained & pool area very nice. Breakfast was good with many options on the set breakfast choices. Staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. it was clear there were many guests who were regulars. Despite the busy area, it was generally quite quiet, with little noise getting into the rooms. If you really need quiet, ask to not have an adjoining room (or bring earplugs just in case!)

Wifi was not good in some areas. If wifi is very important to you, request a room closer to the bar or office areas. We asked for another room with better wifi and the staff very courteously assisted us to change rooms. Construction has just commenced across the road. Footings were being poured while we visited. There was surprisingly little noise from this, even though our new room faced the road.

Nice budget hotel, good location, decent showers, decent bed, decent cable with cnn and hbo, 5 minutes to Kuta beach, 7/8 restos in immediate area, big pool with lots of loungers, great staff in all areas, great wifi, great bar with 25K (rupiah) ice cold beer and not bad live singer on Tuesdays, overall a good choice and I’ll be back!

No chairs in the room, have to move one in and out from balcony, huge construction project across the entry, noise didn’t really bother me but it might you. Restaurant is just ok, no elevator. And it’s dam hot here🥵

A good hotel in its price category. The staff is super polite, attentive, and tries very hard. Daily cleaning, water refill. The room has a refrigerator, air conditioning, tea/coffee/kettle set. Spacious room, balcony with furniture. There are enough sun loungers near the pool. Restaurant. Quiet, comfortable. Perhaps it is worth replacing some plumbing, but in general the bathroom is very spacious, there is a separate large shower cabin, there is shampoo/soap/gel. The staff works 100%
